N-Word Mea Culpas Are Wearing Thin

Grow-up!!! *** or any other word only affects the simple minded peolpe of the world! I say rise above those people who would use your own ignorance against you and achieve a higher level of being.

Who cares if he said the n word. What happended to privacy? Its not illegal to say it so he has every right to say that word, especially privatly. If African-Americans get insulted when they hear that word why do so many African-Americans use it? Why can one race use it and another one can't? Believe it or not, but that is racism against white people.

I think that no matter what we do to expose racism or any other socially offensive attitude, there will always be someone that harbors secret ahtred towards something or someone. The best thing we can do is be responsible for our own actions. No matter who taped the conversation, no matter who sold who out,
Dawg is responsible for his own actions. Apparently he has a preconcieved idea that dating or having a "n----" in your family taints it in some way. Wow. It may have been a priate conversation but those are feelings that apparently he and his family share. That means that is something that is practiced, which means that is something that is preached. To the person in Hawaii, well I guess racism is okay if you catch bad guys for a living. But do you think that would cloud your judgment in some way? If we keep this line of thought then we should pardon all those that may committ rape, nolestation, murder, and any other crime if they have done some good for society. I guess keeping them around regardless of their heinous actions is better for society. Anyway..I agree with the article, apparently exposing second rate tv stars and having the idea that using the word will somehow diminish its power is not having the effect they would like. Be responsible for yourself, check your own morales, help change things worth changing, and try not to live up to the sterotypes people have set before you.

Hurray, Joshua, (a nice Jewish name) as we as a nation move farther away from the counter productive hate those who would bring the negatives to light are more to blame than those who are responsible for the hate, in prologing the process. I hope that the majority of the the people of who saw the acompanying picture and read this article, came a way as i did saying who cares what this man has to say. He is a bufoon. But then I have always felt extreme prejudice towoards males in leopard skin print.

As a Hawaii resident, I am very dismayed that Dog Chapman would revert to such language in the description of African Americans. However, he has done an incredible job here in Hawaii by putting away serious criminals and helping to resolve the Crystal Methamphetamine epidemic that is destroying ENTIRE families, their children and countless lives here in the Islands. While we all know the Crystal Meth epidemic will never be eradicated completely, Dog Chapman has definitely put a serious dent in the crisis. You say he is not worth the publicity; yet, I personally doubt that was what he was looking for in this case. It was his own son after all who sold the taped conversation to a total, ridiculous, Rag Magazine like the National Enquirer. As well, Dog's son, Tucker, has been imprisoned himself for drug charges and I think that is something worthy of noting. So, it is not as if we are dealing with a totally innocent bystander here where the son is concerned. He taped that conversation for a reason and the reason was Money, Money, MONEY. Obviously upset that his siblings are getting a chance at fame, he wanted to foster his own chance at fame and publicity and this was the way he went about it, by betraying the man who gave him life in the first place.
I say before you judge someone's aptitude for publicity and/or fame, perhaps one should take a look at the real positive impact that person has had on the community he or she represents. And Dog The Bounty Hunter has had a real positive impact on the Islands, not to mention the fact that he personally hunted down and put away a scumbag rapist like Andrew Luster when no one else seemed able to even find where the scumbag was hiding.
Words are often spoken in anger and we all later regret them, and I think this is one of those cases. Maybe we all would be better people and thereby help create a better world by forgiving people instead of condemning them into obscurity for eternity when mistakes like this are made. BY THE WAY, IS IT NOT A CRIME TO TAPE A PHONE CONVERSATION WITHOUT ALLOWING THE PERSON ON THE OTHER END OF THE LINE KNOW YOU ARE INFACT TAPING THEM??? Perhaps the woman Dog was referring to, as well as Dog's son Tucker, should be investigated for doing something like this - if I am right and it is against the law.
