A Roman Catholic newspaper says former U.K. prime minister Tony Blair will convert from Anglicanism to Catholicism in the coming weeks.

    Maybe BLiar will find comfort in the confessionals but he must realise, deepdown, that there is no God who would forgive his many mortal sins. The deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent men, women and children are laid at his door, mortal sins which, together with his unconscionable support for the horrific oppression of the Palestinians by Israel, will ensure his consignment to 'the other place'.     It's too bad our politicians don't follow suit and "don't do god" either. This country needs a separation of church and state more than any other!!

    I'd be careful of making the perception that converting to Catholicism is somehow endorsing this war. I don't think there is a Priest today that would even attempt to justify that topic.

    Nevertheless, it's nice to see that Mr. Blair has been enlightened and is coming over to the good side for a change :)
