As an artist myself I was amazed at all the different medias Peter would use. Nothing was off limits. I began to paint on vinyl magnet sheets 12 years ago, and the rest is history. I can see his influence in all my art today. His colors and use of music are what help me create my art. My style is my own, but Max is my mentor! He is one of the greatest of our time! Thanks Peter! I first got interested in Peter Max's work after reading a blurb about him on JuliB.com. As a younger person, it's easy for me to dismiss this style, because Iv'e seen so much of it in my life. But it's really worth while to step back and think how truly different and groundbreaking people like Peter Max were at the time. He's had such a profound influence on the pop culture aesthetic, through today really.
