    So, let me see if I have the sequence correct.... the Taliban attacks WTC, we invade Afganistan, we ally with Musharraf, we stop tracking down Osama, we invade Iraq, we keep tellinging everyone that the War on Terror must be won, we continue to spend billions on the war on terror in Iraq, we keep sending millions to Musharraf, Musharraf jails the proponents of democracy, Musharraf lets the Taliban militants go free and the White House says that we need to keep sending Musharraf millions.... looks like the War FOR Terror is going smashingly... I sure wish I was in the war-profiteering buissiness like all of the President's friends... I'd be cleaning up!

    If the people of the United States are so stupid to think that the Republicans and other factions representing Christianity and God are their friends and not criminals, then they are not only stupid but you are drunk with God or drunk with you own Nationalism or both and you chose. I'm sick of people protecting criminals in the name of their "God" or their country.

    We can not burn ourselves for bloody Americans. We are doing all for the sake of our own country. Don't expect Pakistan to shoot its own people. For war on terror, we are doing enough. NEWSWEEk is talking silly. It's an Indian lobby. How can one trust a magazine which takes money for writting against someone. Zafar Khattak, Pakistan

    Mussaraf fired Chief Justice on charges of aiding terrorist by making them free.Now whom he is accountable of making such deal in which he himself frred 25 top taliban activists.CJ was accountable in legal manner but govt never opted that way and abuse their power of removing all constraint taht were annoying them.It was no first time Pakistan is burning. By the grace of US and corrupt army mafia it has been done several time in past but this time its surprise fot US that now people of Pakistan have come out into streets for saving their rights.No matter they are little in number but they have strong points .In past US
    bought some generals and corrupt politicians to change the scenario as per US requirement .So they are trying best to support mussaraf in their way but this is producing friction in society.

    Comments: As the entire world knows by now, the two judges who released Lal Masjid ???terrorists??? on bail, Abbasi and Khokar, continue to be judges in the revamped Supreme Court. Abbasi was most zealous in taking up the cases of the Lal Masjid brigade. Wonder why.

    Something more odd happened just a day after the trashing of the Constitution: the hush-hush release of over 20 men on Nov 4 accused of planning suicide bombings, and their handing over to the militant commander, Baitullah Mehsud, in return for the release of over 200 captured army personnel. Included in this number was Sohail Zeb, Mehsud???s cousin, caught allegedly with a suicide jacket on. How would this help the fight against terrorism?

    No one is fooled by this spin. The knives out on Nov 3 were meant for the Supreme Court because an adverse verdict was expected regarding our man on horseback???s presidential ambitions. But what have the knives actually done? The judiciary may have been purged but the ousted judges have been taken into the hearts of the Pakistani nation.

    This is not the first PCO in Pakistan???s history but the first to be so openly and widely resisted, the first to draw such widespread condemnation and ridicule. In times past judges used to be so many circus performers eagerly leaping through the loop of a PCO. This time the great majority of them have treated it with the contempt such an unholy instrument deserves.
    That is why hard questions will be asked in Washington. No one likes backing a liability. So hardly reassuring to see in Islamabad a regime losing its way and falling back on the last resort of exhausted dictatorships: the thumbscrews of repression. How long can the police keep beating protesters? How many people will the police arrest? We will have to build new jails to accommodate all dissidents.

    The slogan of ally against fighting terrorism were nothing in real but a drama and only for the sake to be remained in power which now disclose on international community and less on US as well
