Mr. Wolfe are you really surprised that a couple of Edwards people would leave after you and the folks at MSNBC have consistently either ignored his campaign or run negative stoires? The actual truth of the matter is that Edwards is doing great considering he has gotten little to no national coverage and he just started running ads last week. Obama and Clinton have spent millions and been given free national coverage. I think you are premature in yoru death knell for Edwards. I really hope you have to eat your words come January 3.

Who is first place? How ridiculous. This is not about who is in first place, this is about going for a candidate you believe, who you think can do the job that needs to be done, and who believes in same things you believe in.

If you change your position it should be because you feel a different candidate is better suited to you, not because they have a better chance of winning.

I support John Edwards not because of the polls, but because I believe he is the best choice???and THAT is what counts.

Although I am not an Edwards supporter, after reading this article and being born and raised in Iowa (Waterloo), it hurts my heart that these County Chairs don't stick with what they believe but rather 'Who is in 1st Place"! The writer of this article calls them 'Fickle'. I think better words are 'Sell-Out' and 'Disloyal'! With State leadership like this, it makes me glad that I vacated the State years ago. Shame on you county chairs- SHAME!
