Comment: Whew! What a relief. I thought I was the only one guilty of this "crime" and MOMA was sending out the police any day. Now I can throw out all of those hardened pieces of Playdoh I step on barefooted in the middle of the night and I can blame the housekeeper! Thank you for this article. This will be one piece of art I am saving.

Comment: I have a 6yr old who LOVES to draw.... and he's been drawing cars, firetrucks and planes since he was three and is very good. But agree I cannot and do not try to keep all his pics... I throw them out when he is not around as I have heard, "who threw this in the trash" or "how could you do this" a lot of times in my little Picasso's three years of drawing. I have blamed it on Daddy and the cleaning lady quite a few times as well. But I love to look at his every piece of art though. And I keep telling him he will still need to be a profession that pays well unless he does turn out to be another picasso. He actually loves Monet and his water Lilly painting is my son's fav.
