This has been coming, since the first synthesizer keyboard allowed a garage band to sound like it had a string section. It's sad for real virtuosos to have what they do made to appear simple. If I wimped out 2 weeks after getting a real guitar, then the difference between 3 weeks and 10 years is all one big blur to me. Top symphonic players invest 10,000 hours, but in today's ADD culture, a few hundred bucks will do it.
