    The restaurant that she worked at in Detroit, called La Shish, had people celebrating the 9/11 attacks on the day they occured. It is no surprise that someone from there turned out to work for Hizbullah.

    Does anyone else see something wrong with this picture? Prouty unlawfully stayed in the US, hacked into bureau computers when she was not supposed to, and is being implicated as a mole; yet the government gave her a plea agreement in that she'll bein prison six to twelve months. If you ask me, it's time to find another country.

      YES, somthing is verrey wrong. US CIA have agents all over the world and they ar not US citicens. Ligal or iligal they spy for CIA or FBI. One good CIA agent just lost the cover for nothing but media hungry exposure otherwise she would be in Guantanamo if she was a threat and there would be no plea bargening.

      Enter Your Comment The plea agreement makes since as she probably told them already why she tapped into the computers. She may have been looking out for her sister and wanted to know what was up wih her. I would bet it happens more times than we want to know among FBI agents that learn that family memebers are in trouble. Also she may have a personal dislike against Islamic fundalmentalists. They are viscous and may have hurt her family along the way at some point.
      Also whoever said that the USA is the best country go live in Thailand, while I agree with you, you will never convince the Thais that is th ecase. They feel Thailand is th eabsolute best palce to live, they constantly ask foreigners is nto Thailand a great place to live and care nothing about the US.

    the reason why this lady got access to the CIA is beacuse no matter how the USA or any other counrty tries to stop violence and terrorism it won't happen. the prophecies of the bible have to be acomplished and they are. in matthew 24 JEsus himself explained what was going to happen before he came back. and if you read it you will see that we are living in matthew 24 every day. what people need to do is repent. law dont make people good, education dont make you a good person, your own people will vetray you. the only way for someon eto be good is to have JEsus and follow his ways. the end is near and we all need to open our eyes and stop triying to fight against the wind because we would not be able to stop what it was already written to happen. what we can do now that we have time is to come into repentance and run for our lives through JEsus. and that goes to every one, the media and all important people in the world. your positions will not save you on that day, only living as God ordained in his words you will be able to be save from what is coming and if you notice every day it gets worst. you know the day you born, but the day of your death only God knows for the best thing and smart decision is to be prepare for that time.

Just because you lived among them: the iraqis and iranians? why should we the west accomodate those who does not reciprocrate any accomodation ? and only intention is to conquer and convert and destruction? so as the old saying goes: Before they do it to you...show them how it is done.     A waitress? To a CIA? Well its possible. But being a lady who might be attractive to the opposite sex and also raise to her given rank also raises eyebrows. I dont despise ladies,but i also think that they shouldn't be taken lightly once they come to know of Mens weak points. So we should look at the genesis of her introduction to the CIA and how it went on culminating annually to the moment she was suspected. Keep in mind, terrorists always have Long term plans for their undertakings Maybe she was a long term plan asset to the terrorists.

    They knew what they were doing. Our government is no longer for the American people but their own selfish and evil schemes. They are thief's and murderers, they have stolen technology from private citizens(HARRP) and massive amounts of cash and JEWELS! The whole of the world every nation spends most of their resources on weapons that will destroy each other and this wonderful world that GOD has LOANED us. Shame on us all.

    With all due respect, "hazy", your J. Edgar Hoover was the epitome of totalitarian mentality and "un-American" activities. J. Edgar Hoover is a monument to the axiom, "Absolute Power corrupts absolutely". This is the leader who ordered the FBI to brand Martin Luther King as a communist because his fight for freedom did not meet Mr. Hoover's personal approval. And thank you, tempnewsweeker, for your wisdom of caution against judging Ms. Prouty too quickly! She may not be guilty of much more than the Mexican maid next door, who is in this country illegally to earn enough money to support her family. Although I am FIRMLY against illegal immigration, I hope the laws are changed to allow Mexican families, whose workers I have found to be FAR superior in work ethic to the whining counterparts in this country, the opportunity with which this country was founded in the first place: to pursue a life of opportunity from oppression - whether it is religious, political, or economic! Let us try to remember the meaning of the Statue of Liberty: to give us your poor, your down trodden, etc. Finally, the insight described by the post written by "jesus.lives" is one with which I am in agreement, for I too am a Christian. But from the perspective of the 4 or 5 billion or so people on the Earth, how different is your statement from that of a Muslim's cry to Allah to bring havoc to the infidels? Be careful where and with whom you share your pearls.

Most Mexican maids don't have terrorist relatives. The woman pleaded guilty - remember? PLEASE wake up!     With all of the Intelligence Agency Spys being found by the Government in the past few years it seems we have much more to worry about from our own intelligence service than from the average American Citizen.
    So why is bush so intent on illegally spying on Americans without a warrant ? Seems like he should clean up his own house before cleaning up anyone else.

      100% right. Those people up in the white house are the ones who are causing all the trouble. No one seems to wonder or care and thats the problem. Everyone is afraid of getting involved or they will get a big shiny red white and blue **** of there butt. there is nothing that anyone can do unless we all hit the streets and the 60s come again.

        It is not necessary to spy on any American with a cell phone, they are willing to shout their private conversations to the world around them. Who is concerned about privacy. I am sick and tired of hearing peoples "private conversations" Name one person who cares about privacy, it is only the ACLU who cares.

    I think that what "terrificworld" means is that as long as America remains "free" it's power will not wane. Parliamentary democracy is only one of mechanisms by which we, citizens of "the free world" maintain our freedoms.

    The problem in The USA is the lack of knowledge of the Islam. We tend like an Ostriche to say that Islam is a religion of Peace while all terrorists who are trying to kill us are all Muslims. What wrong with us?
    How can Americans be so intelligent to send a Human being in the Moon and be so ignorant of the abvious?
    Who are we trying to please ? Our enemies?
    The USA will be completely infiltrated by our enemies in the next two to three years with the left probably coming soon to The White House. We need to Wake up and face our enemies by first identifying them clearly.

    Many or most of you making comments here are probably not even american and all you know is to blame President Bush and Israel for most everything bad that happens...and that's because it is easier to blame the innocent and brave than to deal with your cowardice and the reality of terrorism.     Civilians...as most of us are, who read these news articles, see and hear questions to the war on terrorism. These questions are opinions and cover-ups that everyone wants answers to. Think about it...would our government (agencies) pick a random muslim women, working as a waitress, to be a spy for us. Your telling me after thorough background checks and interviews she was sent out to obtain information on the people she was already working for, no way. This woman was a mole, for us. Our government, believe it or not, deserves more credit than it gets.

    Futurisitc: i remind you that of all the powers mentionned by you...forgot that inone, none of them were ever a DEMOCRACY ! So, i remind you that the POWER OF AMERICA is not and will not wane. And, as long as America remain democratic it's power will not wane.
