If anyone in the world thinks that the FBI, CIA or any other federal agancy has anything other than 'their ' interests at the forefront of their every day activities, they may want to think again. Citizens in the private sector have NO IDEA what goes in the government. I bet government employees who read this article and any others that have similar implications, simply shrug their shoulders and say to themselves, 'gee, what a surprise.' The number of government employees occupying positions for which they do not even REMOTELY qualify would boggle the mind. Not the actual worker bees of course, but the management. If an all encompassing investigation of every government employee were to take place, there would be noone left to run the country. Take the example of Great Britain when its power was at the zenith. There was a time when every British citizen owned nine square kilometers of this planet. The United States of America is no exception to this role of History and it has got to play that set role in the world affairs. It is foolish to criticize every action taken by US and its leaders.
In the recent past there has been proliferation of terrorist groups all over the world and they have been getting support from various rogue countries. It makes the matter more difficult to solve. Before attempting to ???cow??? the terrorist groups it is much more important that these states should be penalized for supporting terrorists groups by harboring them in their country, providing training and arms to them and funding their activities
If at all the use of power was necessary then the commandos??? type well armed small groups should have been utilized as the Great Britain had formed during the Second World War. Terrorists must be fought in the manner they fight in small groups with devastating effect. Osama Bin Laden certainly has support from various countries otherwise he would have been definitely captured or killed by now But by simply killing him the problem is not going to be solved unless the root cause of terrorist activities is attended to.

So let me get this straight, I (a native born American veteran) can't get a security clearance to work at an airport because I've spent significant time outside of the US in the last 3-years. But an illegal immigrant (OK, OK undocumented worker) gets cleared to work in a highly sensitive position. I think there's a basic flaw in our reasoning here.

I'm one of the 43%, I vote at every election, I am a former member US Navy '76 - '81, former volunteer fireman, Past Commander of local AMVET's Post and general member of a local American Legion. I donate time and money to veterans issues, Thanksgiving / Christmas dinners for people of lesser means, Marine Corps Toys For Tots. I attend and assist in performing military honors at their burial sites and visit, when able, 2 senior homes usually during the next few months of holidays ........ could you even imagine what 57% MORE of this type of input from them ??? HOLY COW !!!
WE could have the Country WE want ....... but WE need to take responsibility and make it work again, the way it was meant to be and once was.
