Does every see how everything is starting to break down. I dont want to sound like im negative or hate America, but look at whats going on. There is nothing we can do. People from the Middle East are becoming FBI and CIA operatives. In our government? This is amazing. Our government is naive and stupid. You cant gamble until your 21 but you can shoot people at 18. You go to prison more years for doing cocaine then killing someone. This country is wrong. I give us about another five years when things start to be questioned. Oh and by the way, there are NO rights in thsi country. Freedom of speech espcially.

reddragon696 makes an interesting point, but perhaps, it's a bit backwards. By bringing in warrantless wiretapping, let's look at that, in this case. The idea about warrantless wiretaps is supposedly they are limited to international calls, from suspected terrorist organizations. Perhaps the real question is - how is it that the warrantless wiretapping program failed to come though, and identify Prouty, since there were apparently communications with terrorist related characters in Lebanon.

Maybe we need better warrantless wiretapping, rather than more...

This isn't shocking...This government spends so much time trying to cover up everything that's wrong, they can't think or do anything right. Without adhering to the gang mentality which is, the political system, try just looking at the facts, as they are. Common sense should come into play then...Oh that's right, common sense isn't that common, that's why the government and politicians keep saying one thing and doing whatever they want...They know most voting Americans are dumb as doorknobs.

Appalling, but not surprising considering the CIA and FBI track record since prior to 9/11. How can she be stripped of her citizenship if she obtained it illegally in the first place? Does anyone up there have a shred of common sense? If she was able to slip through extensive background checks etc... maybe we should be additionally be checking out the person(s) who slacked off doing their investigation.. Are the foxes watching the hen house? Did you say TOP law enforcement and intelligence agencies? Compared to what, I wonder?

Zionist moles? Who talks like that except for arabs? You'd be lucky if Israel took over the region, at least then you'd find decent jobs instead of blaming people who are just trying to contribute something to society. Put down your rockets and hate and start building a better future, geez...

What about Zionist moles?!? Why always target non-Israeli (Zionist)? Why do we keep shedding our blood for another country's problem?

Israel does do a lot of collection here. They do not however intend to overthrow our government or establish a Caliphate. I may not like AIPAC, but Hezbollah has killed more Americans than any group excepting Al-Qaeda. There are likely hundreds of moles in our agencies. A couple of decades of political correctness will do that for you. Used to be they were all white protestant and recruited in College after backgrounds were somewhat clear. The last time I checked, the Mossad has only one guy in our Federal Prison system, there for life. As far as Dearborn, or Fremont Ca. or other communities with large populations subject to foreign exploitation, I am sure we wiretap them, follow them, and are in their banking and such completely. If you think they stumbled across this mole, you are missing the police-state tactics that have evolved here since 9/11. The policy of the US is the survival of Israel, period. I am all for real security on our borders. I also know we need linguists and people fluent in the many dialects we face in the Mid East. I do not hear waves of loyal, America-Loving Muslims applying for these jobs. So as to this traitor, and Her community, I have no pity. Earn my trust in a recruiters office.

The publicity of the shocking lack of personnel who can speak and write Arablic has exposed the intelligence community to this subversion. It seems the agencies have relaxed their background checks to "fill" these language positions by any means possible.

Another reason for REAL SECURITY on all borders.

Yes, if you lived in Dearborn you would know that almost every single person who lives there works very hard and loves the United States very much. I find it quite ironic that CNN is underscoring some small fish informant and her fruitless alleged attempt at subversion while Israeli agents have ravaged our intelligence community for years and have a greater number of spies than any country on Earth actually spying on Americans. Why don???t you talk about our Secretary of States possible involvement in passing sensitive intelligence to AIPAC, Israel???s lobby which also spies on Americans? Why doesn???t CNN talk about the Mossad???s pervasive intelligence networks all over the country?

Totally agree with Mary.....This is outrageous...and now i'm upset that I used to eat at La Shish...it was overpriced and not half as good as the cheaper places...I hope homeland security keeps a close look at detroit and dearborn...it's quite a place...can't really describe it if you have never lived there..and i have..

One whom has endured the intense investigation and scrutiny, just to be considered for a position,I'm in consternation.I do,however, see where this could occur.Especially if someone in authority were desperate enough for someone to fulfill that mission,Nah,CANNOT fathom the blatant failure to discover this prior to the appointments.I would just pray that no one is compromised, and increasingly endangered.

The government saw in this woman what they wanted to see: a woman that spoke a foreign language and could possibly provide information to the US. It is cases like this that cause rules of background checks and other safeguards to be made. It's a shame we don't follow the rules carefully that are already in place to protect us.

I too was surprised at the seemingly lack of judicious retribution for destabilizing our intelligence operations - especially at a time when we (the USA) link Hizbollah to so many other Middle East agitators, not that justice in America always seems, or seldom, as your point of view might be, lives up to the hardened stances we continually hear from our leaders. I like the mkf1 comment including Wolfowitz - no kidding. I'm only a few pages into Drogin's 'Curveball' and when I hear there's no evidence people in the admin lied - uh-huh. Thanks go to the faulty school systems for keeping the masses stupid because otherwise, the status quo might have a fart's chance in a wind storm of being changed for the better than stagnating and circling the drain.

Everyone who is in government and associated with this case should take a ride into the country and not return. When will Americans get their country back from the money changers of the Bush administration. Incompetence, inexperience and polictical patronage have run our country into the worst times of the 200 year written history of this nation. Honesty, hard work, morals and values have been lost by most of the X,Y,Z generations and replaced with laziness, cheating and fraud. Young high school students told me in 1997 that it was alright to cheat as long as you don't get caught because "everyone cheats". I want the US to go back to declaring War in a declaration voted on by the government of the peoples represenatives and then prosecute the War with everyone making sacrafices until the enemy (innocents and non combatants, too) are brought to their knees and give up the "bad guys" and all of their weapons in order to get food, water and mercy from our good soldiers. This is just another example of what your money can buy you.....it bought the rich and previledged a President, Vice-President, Sec. of Defense and Attorney General that were so inexperienced and filled with greed, that they don't care what happens to the real blue collar, hard working, religious people of America (just look at the response they gave to victims of Hurricane Katrina). One mistake after another.....and who will we elect to change things, another Clinton??? I hope not. I personally have had all of the Bush's and Clinton's I can stand. May God Bless America and give us a new leader who will close the borders, end the relationships with the Middle East Countries and through those who don't love America out on their As.....
