To a LIBERAL, ANY question of a Democrat's record or their own statements is now termed "swiftboating." How DARE we question John Kerry's time spent in Cambodia, that was seared into his memory, when his own memoirs say he wasnt near there on the date in question. The bulk of the John O'Neill's book dealt with The Kerry's UNFITNESS FOR COMMAND, based on Kerry's actions AFTER he came back from Vietnam. All ive seen are attacks on the writers of the book, and NOT much discussing the merits. Mr. Fineman would do much better if he tapped down his liberal bias, and stayed with facts, not unsubstantiated opinions.

Brilliant article, Howard. One might also add that Ms. Clinton evokes adjectives like "shrill" and "preachy" - also not warmly received qualities in national politics.

This is the most despicable thing that Fineman has said to date, and he has told some whoopers. President Bush waterboarded McCain? What is he talking about?? Is he serious. He makes waterboarding sound like a sport. If he is going to use it in this sense, then it is no longer a subject of torture, just a word to use when you want to demonize a president!

Well, TaraTrue, your post is a great example of those who would elect Billary. You make it so clear to those who can't make up their minds just what it is they can't stomach about kitchen politics. Your innocence is scary.

I am certain that Hillary brings a wonderful skillset to the table, but I would venture that her skillset is much more in keeping with her role as a United States Senator than as President of the United States. I believe that at this time in the history of the United States, this nation and its people -- indeed the entire world, would benefit greatly from one who demonstrates significant leadership skills and and generates extraordinary inspiration. We stand in need of someone who can chart a different course from those of the past 19 years.

Imagine the conflicts that might arise in the House when Hillary cannot impose her ideas on the Congress.
Or better yet impress her personal political stamp on the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs. How much does the public need to see the potential disaster this woman would bring to the White House? Is this the best the Democratic Party has got to offer? Obama, Hillaray, Edwards? Hello, anybody home?

If Hillary wants to win the nomination and the presidential election, she'll put Bill on a year long cruise with the Playboy bunnies until she is securely in the White House.

If all you Hillary Haters would have gone after Dubya, Cheney and Rove when it became obvious that they got us into an unnecessary, unending and futile war by lying to the MSM and to patriotic Americans, both Dubya and Cheney would have been impeached a long time ago. Why weren't you vicious at that time. Here is something for all of us to worry about: Cheney goes to "work" daily, what does he do in his office? How much more damage will he be able create before he leaves arm in arm with his subordinate in 09?

If the Hillary Haters had been as vicious towards Rove, Cheney, and Dubya when it became obvious to the MSM and patriotic Americans that they collaborated to get us into an unending, useless war, and lied to do it, plus manipulated our Constitution to suit their needs, Cheney and Bush would have been impeached a long time ago! Where were you when you really could have done what is BEST for America?

This article is SPOT ON. You nailed it, Howard. But what's up with all the Fineman haters? That's undeserved. As stated previously on this board, the emotions present here that are elicited by Hillary are more than enough proof that she doesn't stand a chance in the general election. She (along with most of the Democrats and the media) is dreaming.

This Iowa Farmer thinks you and your types are afeared of women and will take any opportunity to keep one from getting the Presidency. Hillary, like a lot of us down to earth folks, believes this country can be a hell of a lot better than its been and some of the issues are as old as the boomers. To label this woman as being a control freak because she wants our country to live up to the vision we were taught in school while growing up, is akin to saying that a Priest is a control freak for wanting to convert sinners. The reason why I support Hillary is because she is a fighter and I believe she shares the same sense of fairness that I do. So what about the other candidates, which happen to all be men? They have no faults that you can see? Hillary is such an easy target because the MSM has made her to be that way. The MSM does not like strong women, that's as apparent as it is on how its reporting stereotypes blacks. Me thinks you good 'ole boys in the MSM are scared to death of a strong woman which makes you unworthy to be listened to. The woman has to appear twice as good as the man she's compared with to be considered half as good. Who the hell is Howard Fineman to put a spin on someone like Hillary? What is it with you so-called journalists putting yourselves above candidates for public office? Tim Russert is the worst, several reporters at CNN and FOX come in 2nd. Then there are the Rush Limbaughs and Ann Coulters out there that should have a gag order placed on them. Its a sin that we allow people like them air time. Why is it the news has turned to pure crap. No checks and balances, no footnotes, no credits, simply take them for their word because they are self proclaimed prophets, or rather, give them enough publication or airtime for name recognition, then let them go spread propaganda. I tell you I'm sick of it. You better hope someone like me does not end up with power as the first thing I'd do is put rules on the media. I'm not saying take away freedom of speech, but if you can't show data to support what you say, you don't say it. Because you can afford airtime does not mean you will be given it. News reporting, back when it was unbiased reporting, used to have my respect. As far as I'm concerned the media outlets are spawning Pat Robertsons left and right, and shame on us as a Nation for allowing it. Me thinks you speak untruths about Hillary and I disrespectfully request that you cease this line of B.S.
