@Bruno.... Yes because freedom of speech is such an evil concept.

Google's "do no evil" mantra when it comes to politics? Apparently that doesn't apply to YouTube's haven for IslamoFacist and anti-Semetic propoganda.

interesting how Google will inject itself into politics, via its "do no evil" mantra. I hope it wont get corrupted by tis melee in politics, the way it got corrupted when it went to China http://stateofecommerce.blogspot.com/

yo mitch89, this is Newsweek and the article is about Obama and Google.

Yeah, the Clinton News Network was doing what it could to make their darling look as good as possible the other night - why didn't Wolf make Hillary answer for the planted questions? - but when Richardson got a chance to speak, he blew everyone else out of the water. This country needs Bill Richardson, who, by the way, just got his 5th Nobel Peace Prize nomination.

I am so disappointed at the media's continued coverage of virtually everything the 'front runners' say or do while, at the same time, virtually ignoring Bill Richardson who anyone with any real understanding of what we need in our next president. knows if he could get the coverage they get he would be the winner and the next president. Every now and then I hear or see some little remark about Richardson being the candidate who has everything we need but continues to be ignored, where it counts, in the debates, by Wolf Blitzer. To me, Wolf Blitzer is a representative of the 'modern investigative journalist'--no complete coverage, no truth, just going along with what he's told. He 'pushes' the top three because, in fact, he knows none of them really has a chance of being elected. If he gave the same attention and opportunity to get his ideas out to Bill Richardson he could win and would in the biggest land slide in history, so he is given little to no support by our media. Blitzer is doing what he's doing to help keep the same type of administration in office that has all but destroyed democracy in this country in only 7 years. People, please THINK! Nancy Moran

No doubt the internet and tech is changing politics from the ground up. But I think it's delusion to believe because average folks are googling and sharing feedback online that this is being listened to by policy makers. As the Google employee is quoted saying here, "It gives us the FEELING that we're being listened to." You want impact -- send a big, big, big check. Like the special interest groups that fund our politics. "The heartbeat of America miis pulsing, but the candidates aren't going online to to listen.

RP supporters have to get the message out. The mainstream media isn't doing it. Dr. Paul appeared on Google as well but was only mentioned in passing saying he was an "Internet-fund-raising-phenomenon". This is all we ever hear of him, so more power to the people who care enough to spread the message.

Do RP's supporters have jobs? Do all ten of you just sit at your computers posting off-topic comments to every political article on the web? And who cares how many Google employees were more interested in free donuts the day RP went there?

Google Dr. Ron Pauls video covering his interview with Google. Then campare it with any other candidates interview and see who gives honest answers to the questions asked.
Do your homework and you will see that Dr. Paul is the best qualified candidate to lead this Republic, and has a real plan to return sanity to the way we approach our foreign policy and economic policy and get our country headed back in the direction of Personal Freedom and Constitutional governmet.

Ron Paul had a bigger audience at Google than any other candidate. It was standing room only and there was an overflow room. There were more questions submitted for him than for any other. Google employees were the top donors to his campaign in Q3, followed by military personnel. The top givers to the other campaigns were predictably all bankers and lawyers.

Here is the video of Ron Paul speaking at Google. It has been viewed FAR in excess of any other videos of candidate visits to Google. It has been viewed 336,000 times. The Barack Obama video -- from which the above picture was taken -- has been viewed a measly 2,500 times.

Ron Paul also made a huge impression on at least one person in the huge audience when he spoke at Google. Vijay Boyapati not only traveled all the way from Seattle to give Ron Paul a blank check at that event, he is so passionate about the Ron Paul Revolution that he quit his job at Google to volunteer full time for the campaign and organize the Operation Live Free or Die grassroots effort to ensure that Ron Paul wins in New Hampshire. Have you heard of any other candidates having such dedicated and enthusiastic supporters?

If you check www.opensecrets.org you will find that the employer, whose employees have donated the most to Ron Paul's campaign, is Google. And one lousy mention? More people google Ron Paul than ANY other candidate. Freedom, Peace and Prosperity is Ron Paul's message. I encourage everyone to check it out at www.ronpaul2008.com
