It's still unclear when the case will go to trial. What is certain is that life in sleepy Perugia, which for decades has welcomed exchange students at the University for Foreigners, will take a while to revert to its pre-house-of-horrors tranquility. "This is not the sort of sensational event that happens here," says Alessia Ceccarelli, who operates a newsstand just steps away from the villa at 7 Via della Pergola and recalls Knox and Sollecito buying a Corriere dell' Umbria newspaper from her the day Kercher's body was found. "We are provincial. That's why it is so shocking."

The Lord is good and holy is His Name. Please don't use it as an exclamatory, but raise His Name in praise ! Thank you ! This article has to be from the archives. For the Kercher family, prayers that the truth will ultimately be revealed and closure possible.

Good Lord, people, this article is from Nov 15, 2007!!!! Many of these things have since been explained differently. Lumumba was found to not even have been involved. The video supposedly of Knox proved to be someone else. The knife of Solcecito's is a pen knife!!! Another man has been convicted of the murder. Etc. Yeesh! What does that say about the hearsay that has gone on in this trial? Personally, I don't think there is enough evidence beyond a reasonable degree to convict Knox or her boyfriend, everything has been so messed with.
