Eating them? Come on- lets put this back to a Humane perspective. They have lived like this for years, among them Monkeys, if they want this to change they know what to do. They have a lot of land in India, a lot of natural habitat to try and take them to. However I do not feel this is an issue that the majority have an issue with, I think it is a few and happens to be a few that were able to speak to a reporter. This is their way. Besides, it is time that Countries take on their own problems and try to solve them, the Americans can not save everyone, we need to save our own people and animals first. I have an opinioon on this one fact and that is just because we have Monleys running in the street. we eat them? Get real. We have a lot of kids that run around where I live, would you expect an animal to eat them because their are too many of them? Reverse your comments sometimes and look how it reads before you post it. Very cruel webber.

in Baltimore, we have a monkey problem also, they live in the city smoke crack ,and drive cars with spinner wheels.

I do not think eating them is the answer, after all it is the Human Race that has invaded there space, just as it is here in the US. I agree some sort of refuge could be built for them in their own country. Monkeys carry a host of diseases, I think finding a way to have them away from Human Population is the thing to do. Their are many many open areas in India where they can be transported to, India has some of the most beautiful forestry areas and some of the largest. If this was a real issue for them they would figure it out., They have lived like this for years.

Wow webber real immature. I agree with national wildlife that the government should use land for a national wildlife refuge that way the monkeys will be out of harm's way and in a safe environment.

Spay and neuter, yes, but these morons need to stop feeding them. It's like when people complain about "duck itch" in lakes. Sorry, but you need to start reporting your neighbor who continues to feed them. A controlled hunt wouldn't be such a bad thing, either.

Datruthisspoken..i never said the citizens agreed to destroying habitats, but individuals have more power than they think. we just need to use it more. a good, simple way to start is to be better informed.

true.. I agree Kushal.. they do need to start doing something.. otherwise its just going to get worse. if the entire area works together then it can be done. Just with the size of Delhi, it will take a lot of people to get it done..And maybe it will take the government getting involved to pass laws and set-up a larger animal society. With all of the Hindi culture, the other animals that roam didn't seem so prominent as the monkeys. They were the ones I saw the most. :-)
