this monkey business should be treated with utmost seriousness, they pose a great risk to the life and limb of ordinary people. Monkey bites lead to some very nasty conclusions and even death and not just death by accident.

I had always wondered if it's only the cows on the street that make Delhi politics tick!

Why not employ 100 veterinarians instead to begin sterilizing many of them as we do with cats and dogs? The article leaves out what will be done with the unfortunate monkeys after they are captured. What? Do they simply disappear? I'm sure we all know better.
Why not actually begin fining the people who are breaking the LAWS by feeding them and encouraging them to live in the cities, seeing humans as beasts they should intimidate to get what they want? Its all they know and the people are the ones who CAUSED the problem in the first place, now what? Ship them off to the USA and Europe as subjects for animal testing because there's a profit in that and that breed happens to be one of the most tested on. Disgusting.
Pesky monkeys....Cute for tourists not for farmers...wan mhn meat is a nuddah mahn poizn. They have out grown the human population in St. Kitts and Nevis. Farmers are distraught and some are abandoning their farms. The green vervet monkeys are smart, they seem intent on conquest of our country and are steadfastly winning the war, through overpopulation (no wmd's), against humans. The only thing they refuse to eat is birthcontrol and never play around with condoms!
Pesky are also a grave problem in St. Kitts and Nevis...we have the green vervet monkey that has out grown the population of humans. The farmers are the ones who are most affected by these seemingly highly intelligent pests. Cute though....aren't they? Yeh but for tourists........wan man meat is a nuddah man poizn.
Gee, they are so cute and cudly. Why can't we all have one? How about bears, or maybe lions? Can't we just share, they all have rights too! They have their place on earth, even if they bite, eat or just want to take our place!

Hey it's just a monkey problem...let's just face it like we face the crow problem in the city. We have comfortable life, more than enough food to eat, good home for shelter...why can't we just forgo that comfort a bit by sharing it with our primate cousins? After all animals have their rights and place on earth

We have our own simian problem here in the states ----- where knuckle-dragging, warmongering primates can actually ascend to positions of power.
