This is for Mr. K_G_Goldsmith. I believe you are completely wrong and mislead about Islam. LIke Christianity and Jews and etc, Islam, has sects. All of them cannot be right becuase if that was the case, there would be no sects, whether we're talking about Islam, Christianity or Jews. I agree that in Islam there are some sects that in my opinion believe are following anything but Islam. In other words they are completely ignorant. But when it comes to Iran it is completely different, they use the real Islam. Tell me ONE thing Iran has done against any human being or nation. they declared war on them, they fought back. What would you do if your country was attacked would you sit back and watch. I don't think so. So before youstart talking and bashing Islam (and youclaim to be open minded and educated) Educate yourself about Islam and dont tell other people to teach you what Islam is. So wake up and smell the fresh coffee and stop your arrogance.

Here's "ONE thing"....The hostages. Remember them?

How about the attacks of your beloved Iranian politicians against other countries (i.e. USA, Israel, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, etc)?

      Get real!!

The UN, the world media, and world powers should all receive a flunking grade for not publicly asking one obvious question: "Why does one of the most energy (oil) rich countries in the world need nuclear power?". The answer is also obvious. They are trying to build nuclear weapons. No other explaination makes any sense, except to the barbarian that is uttering it, and those who have washed their common sense down the drain of political correctness.

I STRONGLY BELIEVE THE ZIONIST IS BEHIND EVERYTHING THAT OCCURS IN THE WORLD WETHER IS DOMESTIC OR FOREIGN IT HAS TO DO WITH ISRAEL. THEY ARE THE BULLIES OF THE WORLD AND THERE SO CALLED THE AMERICANS ARE THE PUPPET OF ISRAELS. WITHOUT AMERICA ZIONIST WOULDN'T EXIST AND TO THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT ISLAM YOU GUYS NEED TO LEARN IT BEFORE YOU START CRITICIZING IT OK.
YOU GUYS ARE THE BULLIES THE WESTERN WORLD AND IRAN IS OPEN TO DEMOCRACY AND IF ANY COUNTRY TRY TO ATTACT THIS GREAT NATION THEY WILL REGRET BECAUSE WE WOULD RETALIATE ANY ATTACKS WETHER IS AMERICANS OR EUROPEAN NATIONS.

MUSLIMWAYOFLIFE, YOU ARE PARANOID ABOUT ISRAEL AND THE U.S. THE PEOPLE OF THE U.S. WANT ALL VIOLENCE IN THE WORLD TO STOP. THEY WANT EVERYONE IN THE WORLD TO BE ABLE TO PRACTICE THEIR OWN PEACEFUL RELIGIONS ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.

Why are our journalists, and those who are in power not publicly asking one question? Why does one of the most energy (oil) rich countries in the world need nuclear energy? When you are smart enough to ask this question, you are smart enough to know that they are trying to build a bomb.

Just read the news, and it is clear that Iran is a violent and intolerant society. Is this the "true" Islam? If so, then the world needs to acknowledge it and treat it as such. One suggestion: make it clear to Iran if they do not comply with the UN and dismantle their nuclear program, then the US will treat any terrorist attack linked to Iran as grounds for nuclear retaliation.

Christ Dickey gets an F for a poor, bias and dated report. Without the Soviets there is no balance in the world and the US is THE big bully, pushed to new wars by Zionists. Someday our children will look back and confirm that the Cold war was indeed better than the Warm wars.

This is all pretty simple. Iran should just comply, instead is chooses to defy what the world has organized for a safe nuclear community. Iran chooses to pound its chess like it has someting to proove. If you people dont wake up and see the real reason for Iran's hostilities, it will be to late. Do you really believe they intentions are peacefull, give me a break. Iran doesnt need nuclear power. They have a huge abundance of energy sources already. So why else would they do this. Iran does not care about the world. They care only for themselves and any terrorist organization the betters there cause. I have question. Theres all this talk about being fair. Does anybody really think that if Iran influence the world the way the U.S. does, we would be in a better place? Personally, I like my freedom of choice. Especially you women, you should wake up. Unless you want to lay on your back and be used for just making babies. This is a huge issue. There are many short minded people on this topic. Iran has no right to Nuclear Power. If there so creative, why dont they invent something that creates world peace. Oh... Im sorry, thats right... they have Islam. When the hole world is nothing but Islam, then there will be peace. Common people, wake up.

you appear tp be a mputhpiece for Iran and their peaceful di[plomacy.

I think this shows that allowing the international community to take the lead is working, in spite of what Bush thought about Iraq. The US needs to drop its heavy handed approach and allow the EU, Russia, and China to exert leadership in their spheres of influence. We will end up achieving our goals, which the other powers share at some level, and we won't be generating hostility against ourselves for no reason.

Youre being totally misleading on the subject of the IAEA report and Iran.

First of all, Iran's nuclear program RE-started in 1983. It actually started in the 1970s, with the full support, encouragement and backing of the United States. And, it had nothing to do with the war with Iraq. Even today, Iran is judged to be 10 years away from making a bomb so there would have been no way for Iran to make a bomb to use against Iraq back in 1983.

Second, the IAEA tests have vindicated Iran's explanation about those traces of uranium. If you could actually spell IAEA (not "IEAE" as in your headline) you may know about that.

As for the "suspicious document" on the manufacture of bombs - the making of nuclear bombs is not a secret. Both the US and UK have declassified far more detailed information on that. The Nth Country Experiment showed that the information is public domain, and so Iran would not have needed the 2 page document to teach it to build nukes.

And, the Iranians were supposed to "come clean" as part of a timetable. Thus far, they have indeed met that timetable. Note that the IAEA report didn't say anything about Iran failing to come clean. What, is the IAEA part of the Iranian secret nuclear conspiracy now too?

And Finally, Iran had voluntarily implemented the Additional Protocol for 2 year as a confidence-building measure, until we tried to cheat them in the Paris Agreement negotiations. And, iran has volunteered to now only re-implement the Additional Protocol permanently but to go beyond it by imposing additional restrictions on its nuclear program - and we have ignored their offer.

You're being totally disingenuous and misleading about the IAEA report.
