Clinton did well, but the issues are more important than a good come-back answer. I was disappointed in the debate because Wolf Blitzer was obviously more interested in an intertaining spat between Clinton, Obama and Edwards than a real debate. He practically ignored the rest of the candidates which is irresponsible of the news media.

Are you kidding me! She crucified all of them! The only reason why she hasn't buried all of the "boys" by now is the nieve american people are Afraid of a intelligent, powerful woman! The real women of this country... the ones that have made a path for themselves and don't live in the shadows of a man.... know what I'm talking about. The "Men" that have been in charge of this country, from the beginning, have made such a disaster, that only a woman like Hillary, can fix. Who are you kidding, while "Bill" was " enjoying" himself, who do you think was running the country for 8 years? SHe is more than experienced, educated, and Powerful that any of the " boys" that were trying to remain standing when she was finished with them....

Hillary Clinton should be President right now. She is the only candidate who exudes a Presidential confidence. The Democratic Party is indeed fortunate to have her. Four months ago, I was a fence-sitter veering toward Barack Obama. All of that has changed. I can say with honesty that I haven't a clue what Obama would do if he were President, on any issue.

So, allow me to say it finally ..... GO HILLARY!

:Hillary truly a leader? How is that? She does what Bill did- triangulates and sticks her finger up in the air and tells people what they want to hear! I would say the Republicans are glad she is in there and will probably be the nominee. If you vote for her out of principal, it is apparent you don't have any principles as she will only tell you what you want to hear. Hillary is just another scripted paid off politician that will always be manuaevering to get her self in the right situation.

It is a shame cnn went right for the page six stuff the first 15 minutes..I was inspired by Biden and Richrdson and even dennis on the command and confidence in the issues that matter. The debates are the forum for the second tier candidates to explain their positions The media wants a tight contest or there is nothing to talk about.

The formant stunk..cnn acted like the survivor with the whisperings, runway opening shots, cutting off really important to discussions to yes and no...so much for the"best" political team in television.

By the way I know statistcs are important- guess how many times wolf said "we will let him weigh in" on the issue. Campbell well nbc traded well

A note on 'prefab' answers: in these days of talking heads, it would be suicidal and a sign of someone unprepared to be president NOT to think out and test out answers to very important questions before they are asked. Hillary has had to answer such questions a number of times before this debate, to be sure, and by the time of this debate it shouldn't be surprising or disappointing that the answer sounds practiced and polished. It's what I would expect of a thoughtful Presidential candidate. Though an off-the-cuff answer to a question that somehow the candidate did not think ahead of time might be asked may be revealing, in the case of our idiot 'Bring 'em on' President, this is decidedly not a good thing.
And just because Edwards talks about the poor and disenfranchised in an attempt to distinguish himself from others doesn't mean that he has the ideas and political will to do something against massive opposition.

It is rediculous see hear democratic rivals attacking eah other, instead of being a united front.
No wonder that the united states is so devided. They all should work together to fight the corruption and the money hungry republicans and war mongers.
All the trillion dollars spent in Iraq and Afghanistan could have been used for the AMERICANS here in the UNITED STATES.
Think of Health care, Homeless, VETERANS that are neglegted. Shame on them.

AMERICA CAN DO MUCH BETTER AS A SUPER POWER, NOT WHAT THIS ADMINISTRATION HAS BEEN DOING OR IS DOING!!!!!

I look at and I listen to this group of Democrats and I think "Thank God we have them and that most likely one of them will be the next President and will start bringing the nation back from the edge of an abyss that threatens to destroy us." I love the way they argue, advance points, atttack one another on issues and avance plans and ideas for challanging by their opponents on the stage. That is real Democracy in action.

And then I look and listen to the group of Republicans and think "What a bunch of empty suit Neanderthals all falling over one another to advance the same tired old agendas and ideas, all thinking the same thing and trying to use different words to describe it, but never engaging in a substantive argument." But I understand they are handicapped by the fact that if the word "tax" was removed from the debate there wouldn't be a one of them who could finish a sentence. And whatever their own feelings, being Republicans, they cannot go against the policies of their current leaders as regards economics, War, foreign relations and the future of the nation. I do ask whatever became of the days of the great Republican leaders like Dewey, Eisenhower, Goldwater,Taft, Dirkson and so many others? What is it that has turned the Republican Party's leaders into a grouping of empty suited, empty thought babblers? Why can't they have fun and present new ideas at the same time? The Democrats do.

Hillary by far is the leader in pragmatic politics, diplomacy, experience and indeed in every aspect important for the presidency. Biden comes in second and would be a great vice president or secretary of state. Obama, will be a good candidate in nine years. He should save his money because his inexperience shows. The foreign policy, economic, social and healthcare issues facing this county subsequent to the destructiveness of Bush-Cheney tsumami requires someone with Hillary's intelligence, background and character.

Check the difference of funding btwn Obama and Hillary and the truth becomes self evident. Obama was gutsy raising the majority of his money from everyday citizens, while Hillary honeymoos lobbyists, special interests, and big business for hers. Just by itself, this speaks volumes about how the wrong choice could extend a disastrous 8 years to 12. We need a new face with a backbone as much as a moral compass.

I think the sooner Hillary Clinton can be our next President the better for everyone in the country.

She is truly a leader, in every sense of the word. "The Boys" cannot touch her.

The obvious support granted her by CNN diminished Hillary in my eyes today. Her explanation of her Iran Revolutionary Guard vote was unconvincing, and the Social Security facts were muddled, if not confused. I was more impressed by the stronger presence and intelectually superior sowing of Obama, Bidden and Kucinich.

I don't have any issue with reruns as long as they have the right characters. Taxi was a great show not matter how many reruns. I bet the same writers can put together other great hits with the right management team.... Oh,that's right, they did!!!!

Of course, I am not up for another Bush rerun. There are shows that should never be aired....
