Thank you ver much feminists - this is quite a logical conclusion of their "war against boys". To them, there is a strong need to indoctrinate and imprint "fear" toward females in boys from very early age - so that boys could be conditioned to feel ncomfortable and natural being subordinate to females. And if efminists could label more boys with "sexual harassers", or "sexual deviants", then the girls would have fewer boys to comopete with when getting into colleges and getting good jobs, because, after all, who would want sexual harassers in their schools and offices? If they could weed out as many boys as possible at as early age as possible as sexual harasers and social outcast, so much better for the femalekind!

The teachers can be in a difficult position with the witch hunt mentality prevalent nowadays as well as the prospect of lawsuits. I remember a priest saying he would no longer be alone with a boy in a room. We will just have to admit we are a fecked up society.

Of course it's all ridiculous .... but these schools aren't acting in a vacuum. This is a response to a society that sues for anything and everything. It's gotten this bad .... that districts are trying to protect themselves. Of course it's ludicrous. But how many of you have been on the receiving end of the ridiculous calls and complaints that come into a school from parents? I don't think any school district wants to go to this extreme. But the society we live in forces them to.

Really? As a new mom, it scares me this is what our educational system has come to. A six year old being punished for something he has been doing all his life is crazy. Did the teacher's aide not have any understanding as to what is normal with kids and what is not? We have become too politically correct in everything we do. Let kids be kids.

Stories like these lead teachers to refrain from touching their kids at all for fear of sexual harassment charges. Maybe psychologists can say whether no touching is good or bad for the children, but I imagine both benefit from harmless touching
    touching.

What??? How can they do that to little kids, they don't understand what they are doing!!!!!!! Who decided to come up with this? I can see a six grader but a six year old they are just learning. Why did the teacher hug him? That is what got him into trouble...what is up with that? Schools need to start looking at things that matter not a six year old. What is education getting to?

Jim Walsh, the Texan lawyer says "our culture has a lot of vulgarity in it right now." He is absolutey right, and the vulgarity is totally in the minds of the administrators and morons who "train" school officials. A kindergarten or grade one child who is accostomed bo being hugged tightly by its mother, including snuggling against the mother's breasts, can hardly be faulted for not knowing "the six inch rule" when being hugged by a teacher. Our society has become so politically correct because we allow idiots to make decisions and policy. Let's elect/appoint some educational policy makers with some brains and just a bit of common sense.

Its good that they are collecting these statistics... It will show how stupid society has become.

I was going to try and make a profound statement regarding the stupidity of this...but I find myself speechless.
