The Republican strategy is to get Hillary to win the Dem. nomination so they can rip her apart and slip their man into the Oval office. Rove youare a pig that needs to crawl back under the rock you came out from .
    GO OBAMA!!!

Gee Laurie... you've given us so much insightful thinking to contemplate. Anyone can spew hate, but it takes both thought and energy to offer something valuable to the conversation.

I will vote for Hillary if she wins the nomination. At least when Her and Bill were in the white house the country had some financial success. Since Dubya has been in office he has spent all the money they left in the country on a stupid war that was based on his personal lies and pregidous. Looks to me like he just wanted revenge for his daddy who also wanted to take Iraq. The republicans seem to want to kill off all the poor people. Keep taking money from healthcare, social security, farm subsidies, education, welfare programs, and anything else that benefits poor people and spend it to send the children of poor people to Iraq to kill people or get killed themselves. How many Bush, Cheny, Rumsfield, Rice, Guilliani, children are in Iraq getting killed? My guess is none. How about old folks with expensive prescriptions, that can't afford the totally outrageous prices in the USA, having access to Canadian drugs that are a little more reasonable. Oh that's right They made that illegal. What the hell they are old anyway, gotta die sometime, right. We might as well do a write in campain and elect Charlie Manson as to let in any more like Bush and his cronies. Bush is undoubtedly the worst President in history and anyone who supports him should be charged with accessory to mass murder.

      Speaking of murder:
Should Queen HITLERy get elected, will Senator Chappaquiddick give her a ride down Pennsylvania Ave in his SOGGY Oldsmobile?

You must be one of them writers on strike. So two questions about your joke.. Why Hitler? From what I recall Hillary has never been accused of genocide and why an Oldsmobile? They been out of production since 2004. Time to sharpen that funny bone don't ya think?

You notice how they always mention Kennedy but they never dare to repeat the fact that Laura Bush herself had an unfortunate car occurrence as well when she was driving.

Carl Rove hasn't changed a bit. Knows how to win an election--doesn't care about how to govern. That explains a great deal about Bush II's administration. Carl Rove is exactly what is wrong with American politics--it is all about the election and not at all about the governing. Too bad for American unless we wake up and reject the mindless spin.

    • Posted By: vacillate @ 11/20/2007 1:15:51 AM

Exactly, Rove got Bush his win and Bush is just a PNAC puppet. Cheney, Rumsfeld, Jeb Bush are the rulers.

      • Posted By: ArcherB @ 11/20/2007 11:39:47 AM

I've seen you say that more than once. I'm curious. We all know that the Bushes are oil people. If Jeb Bush is 1/3 the ruler of the US, why is there no drilling off the shores of Florida? He was governor there you know.

The job of U.S. President is really a tough one demanding lot of mental and physical strength and stamina. The person holding the job must have super human qualities in every respect. The world peace and prosperity depends up to a great deal on the moves made by United States of America.
At the world stage rivals of Mrs. Clinton are more or less new comers and unknown. It is very difficult to predict whether the first four years in the office they will spend learning the ???Job??? or discharging their duties in the manner expected of a US President.
Mrs. Clinton has a few advantages over her rivals. She is well educated, may have learnt a lot and acquired good experience from the success and failure of her husband Mr. William Jefferson Clinton during his presidency and above all will have his continued back room invaluable support from him during her own tenure.
There is no doubt that Bill Clinton is a very intelligent, hard working, well educated person and above all a practical and good diplomat. He is a well liked person all over the world and is a well traveled person.
The husband and wife duo will be most suitable occupants of White House and with their background will bring more peace and prosperity to the people of America

Karl, it was dishonest of you to be telling that story about the "vanity mirror". The reason it was fun for you to tell was that you were implying--dishonestly--that it was Hillary's old office and her mirror. You were telling an unflattering story about Hillary, which was fun, no doubt. It is just that it was dishonest. I could probably get a chuckle if I said I saw you picking your nose and eating your buggers when you were here in my hometown on a campaign trip in 2004. It wouldn't be true, but it COULD have been true, and it slanders you, and people might pass along the story, and have fun at your expense. Would it matter to you that it would be dishonest?

    • Posted By: ignatov @ 11/20/2007 10:54:27 AM

As rachel Sklar points out at Huff Po: "a vanity mirror is by definition a small mirror, often with magnification, meant for zeroing in on parts of the face ??? so its use as a modifier is not only clearly meant to imply that Hillary is vain, it's also factually incorrect. Oh, facts."

Coming form the man who is Bush's "BRAIN" , I would not give this story too much weight, after all, look what the "Brain" has given us so far! I believe that Americans will hear the attacks coming from the Republicans and this will galvanize them against whoever the Republican runner will be. She will ride the victim card into office. While Republicans might like to call her a "***", this strategy will lose them a lot of women voters.

How much do you have to hate America to hire this guy? It must be alot. I cant believe greed and short term benefits now override patriotism and loving your country. It's a shame people hate this country so much and could care less about it, by hiring this hate mongerer.

Whatever happened to America standing together?

I guess its loss to short term gains and the misdirecting of the ignorant.

Congratulations Newsweek for becoming the National Enquirer.

WHy is no one mentioning my OBAMA speech, that was the essence of my commentary, the whole ariticle was in regards to Barak'ss missed opportuinity to distinguish himself from Hillary. As mentioned Hillary is a great women. But my point had to do with OBAMA's answer to drivers licenses. You are not reading my whole article. I only briefly mentioned Rove because it is his article. He's a smart guy he made you vote for Bush. Bush is a two term president, is Karl Rove Smart or are you studpid? What spelling mistakes this is internet talk. My point is clear Karl ROve knows campaigns Barak Obama missed out on an opportuinity to touch the American people, read my speech it is a work of art thats why I patent it you will see that my words and solution will be coming out of someone's political mouth, it already has read my commentary on Pakistan Burns article updated Nov. 9th in newswwek.. In my recent entry I actually offered Obama a solution to a very difficult problems. Please point out the spelling errors in my four paragraph entry

Hopefully OBAMA or one of his supporters reads this. The second key for OBama to defeat Hillary is to push the fact that she is a polarizing figure that statistics show half of American men in this country would not vote for her and that being a women leader would make it difficult to deal with the Middle East. Most Men in the Mideast would not be as embrassing because their culture does not follow women leaders. If you offend the people you are trying to negotiate with you are not going to get what you want and that is peace in the middle east. (Don't get me wrong Hillary is capable of handling negotitations, OBama himself cannot come out and make the women comment it has to be done through a commercial by a third party). Leaders in the middle east will give OBAMA a chance because of his color, name and background. Obama can win if he drives these two issues, illegal immigration and foreign policy. Unfortunately BARAK did not give the answer I was looking for I did, so I do not know the candidates will enough to know what they truly think but if OBama represents the politics of hope, he should take my advise. I guarantee you these two issues will bolt you into the democratic, and give you a platform for your Presedential campaign. I like Hillary CLinton and I think she would make a great vice president who works on domestic issues. I think we have already had a Clinton in the white and it is time to move on. I will save my Republican theories for another article. But just a quick preview. Gulliani is not a conservative so it is easy to defeat him for the Republican nomination. Guilliani was not in control on 9/11, he could not do anything without approval from the white house. The terrorists were in controll of 9/11 not Gulliani. Him dressing. up as a women should be played over and over again. You can use his upside against him, he seems power hungry, he was a great mayor and would also make a great vice president. The republicans are in trouble just like the 2004 democratic lineup they have no chance of winning this next election. All my opinions and comments have been patented. I was flattered when a foreign policy expert quoted my comments regarding the Nov 9, 2007 article WHILE PAKISTAN BURNS. I mentioned that " Israeli issues which makes this issue even more complicated". He also quoted other parts of my blog. I am a proud graduate of the University of Maryland class of 04 and if anyone needs political advice or ideas to confront political issues in the OBAMA camp, or any other camp, republican or democrat, you can e-mail me. ftennassee@yahoo.com.

Go ahead and spend your time strategizing for a win against Hillary. She won't be the Republicans opponent. Obama will be. He is unstoppable.

    • Posted By: truthnow @ 11/20/2007 5:45:24 AM

Barack Hussein Obama will never be elected President in 2008. The Republicans pray for him to be the nominee because they will retain the office of the Presidency. The US is not ready to elect a Black man no matter how qualified he is. Remember Tennessee in the 2006 election. Congressman Harold Ford was extremely qualified and was doing fairly well until his opponent suggested a relationship with a White woman in a campaign ad. It was all downhill from there. Congressman Ford lost to a White male who used his own money to campaign and entered office with no experience in government at all. Hillary Clinton is the most qualified candidate running for office. She was active in government long before she was a 1st lady. She knows what rocks to look under to clean up the tragedy that George Bush created in Washington by putting unqualified people in important positions. Our country will benefit from the 1st woman president and there is great need for an intelligent person to hold that office today.

Comment: I would like to congratulate Karl Rove and all presidential candidates for participating and serving in the political process of this great country. I admire all candidates both republican and democrat and wish to offer some "Karl Rove Quality of advice".But first let me state that Karl Rove is a genius, a bit pompus, but like any great quaterback one must have confidence. Karl Rove's reasoning is simple, know your opponent and distinguish yourself. It makes sense. As Rove mentioned, Hillary Clinton's every move and reaction is calculated so in order to defeat her, "show that you are real", I couldn't have put it better myself Karl! It was so easy to defeat Gore, expose his goofiness and calculated answers with responses like "fuzzy math". 'Let Gore beat himself, he's a moron' was one of the tickets the Rebublicans played in the 2000 election (Gore once claimed he invented the internet, his answers were not real they were scripted) . And in 2004 the republicans portrayed Kerry as "flip flopper" because he voted for it before he voted against it. Combined that with the constant images of Kerry looking like a Hippi on withdrawl, protesting the same war he fought for; finished him off.

Comment: Obama had a great opportunity to capture the minds and hopes of the American people in the last debate, but he failed. He also failed to integrate the Rove Doctrine: To distinguish yourself from your opponent and do not hesitate to say anything controversial. Obama's opportunity came when he was asked the same question Hillary Clinton stumbled on in the previous debate which was, do you believe that illegal immigrants should have drivers licenses? At that juncture he should have responded by stating that
"everyone in this country are human beings first and that they are very sensative to this issue because it affects millions of families and their relatives. As President I am willing to tackle this problem head on not just "patch it up"(THat would have made a memorable punch line). The first thing I would do as President when confronted with this issue is to get to the root of the problem. Why can't illegals become legal and get legal driver's licenses why do they have to be illegal in the first place. The short term solution would be to give illegals licenses with conditions just like visitors attain temporary driver's licenses or the licenses from their country have been evaluated and recognized. Licenses for illegals must have special conditions, if you are convicted of any driving felony or DUI your license is automatically revoked.

  • Posted By: eddiewhere @ 11/20/2007 4:20:28 AM

Illegals must pass the road test so we are sure that they understand the signs. I do not want illegals who can't read signs driving around with no license no insuranse and unable to read or understand road signs. Therefore it is the publics general interest that illegals are given licenses with conditions. These licenses must be renewed every year and the illegal immigrant records will be evaluated to see if he is on the pathway to legalization and whether the has complied with American laws in order to keep our roads safe. A President must always put the safety of the American people first. The second part of my solution is too work with people like the governor of New Mexico who is very knowlegable regarding this issue and could head a panel under my presidency to work with Mexican officials to provie a proper avenue for Mexicans. Mexicans are great people and they are our neighbors so we have to let them know like friends what we are doing is genuine. There is no doubt that we have to enforce existing immigration laws and enforce our borders in order to stop the flow of illegal immigration and start the flow of legal and controlled immigration where one of the prerequistes is too read, speak and write ENglish/ this must be funded by the Mexican govenments so that Mexicans will be motivated to learn English so their transition into American culture was as smooth as my parent's. I would also start a special intellectual task force that would be biparitisan and from both countries. THere task to develop economic plans to improve wages in Mexico. Like any relationship this one must be nurtured in order for it to succeed, we have done it with Canada there is no reason why we cannot work with our neighbors to improve living situations for everyone. This issue requires a president to be firm, but at the same time be sensitive to the fact that words like aliens and illegals are verying polarizing and divisive. I just want the American people to know that there are solutions to problems without reacting impulsively and making bad short term solutions like building a wall along the border. History has proven that a wall divides and does not work, look at Germany, over a million people found a way around and over the Iron Curtain Wall, and unfortunately thousands died and that wall. I do not want to shoot my neighbor i want him to respect me and understand that the values that America represents. The safety of the American people comes first!. IF OBAMA had given this answer he would have taken over this race, people would begin to believe that this man is brilliant, he can solve problems, he cares for the safety of not only Americans but human beings in general. He is willing to work with those on both sides of the isle to solve problems. He is fresh, he will bring us hope
