Comment: Comment: Comment: Hopefully OBAMA or one of his supporters reads this. The second key for OBama to defeat Hillary is to push the fact that she is a polarizing figure that statistics show half of American men in this country would not vote for her and that being a women leader would make it difficult to deal with the Middle East. Most Men in the Mideast would not be as embrassing because their culture does not follow women leaders. If you offend the people you are trying to negotiate with you are not going to get what you want and that is peace in the middle east. (Don't get me wrong Hillary is capable of handling negotitations, OBama himself cannot come out and make the women comment it has to be done through a commercial by a third party). Leaders in the middle east will give OBAMA a chance because of his color, name and background. Obama can win if he drives these two issues, illegal immigration and foreign policy. Unfortunately BARAK did not give the answer I was looking for I did, so I do not know the candidates will enough to know what they truly think but if OBama represents the politics of hope, he should take my advise. I guarantee you these two issues will bolt you into the democratic, and give you a platform for your Presedential campaign. I like Hillary CLinton and I think she would make a great vice president who works on domestic issues. I think we have already had a Clinton in the white and it is time to move on. I will save my Republican theories for another article. But just a quick preview. Gulliani is not a conservative so it is easy to defeat him for the Republican nomination. Guilliani was not in control on 9/11, he could not do anything without approval from the white house. The terrorists were in controll of 9/11 not Gulliani. Him dressing. up as a women should be played over and over again. You can use his upside against him, he seems power hungry, he was a great mayor and would also make a great vice president. The republicans are in trouble just like the 2004 democratic lineup they have no chance of winning this next election. All my opinions and comments have been patented. I was flattered when a foreign policy expert quoted my comments regarding the Nov 9, 2007 article WHILE PAKISTAN BURNS. I mentioned that " Israeli issues which makes this issue even more complicated". He also quoted other parts of my blog. I am a proud graduate of the University of Maryland class of 04 and if anyone needs political advice or ideas to confront political issues in the OBAMA camp, or any other camp, republican or democrat, you can e-mail me. ftennassee@yahoo.com.

On taxes, I suggest before talking about who pays what, take a look at the IRS published statistics on tax revenues, and then tell us who is paying.

Why do you people back Clinton so much. First of all she can't keep her husband happy, what makes you think she will keep the country happy. Has anyone gone to war or had an immediate family member go to war? We all would like war to end, but it's not going to happen. Realize it. People want Americans to die and their version of the bible sais to kill those who do not follow in their footsteps. Put yourself in these shoes. Would you want to fight a war on American soil. Would you be willing to let terrorists come into your neighborhood and harm your family. I wouldnt. I call you a ignorant, if you think pulling forces out of war is going to help. It will only allow things to get worse. They will regain strength and something worse that 9/11 will occur. World peace would be great, but if America wants to remain great it needs to put an end to terrorism. Argue, do whatever you want but if you dont support our troops and respect they are fighting so we can do this, you need to get our of America or realize that we have the opportunity to live in the greatest country on the face of this planet.

"She can't even make her husband happy. How can she make a country happy?" That's some logic. I guess we could turn that around and say ANY woman who makes her husband happy would be presidential material. Find a real argument.

This article would absolutely make sense- If the GOP actually CARED whether or not the shrinking middle class has health care, affordable college, or any of the numerous other things that we know Hillary Clinton will provide. Let's face it folks- we cannot afford another 4 years of filling republican pockets with nothing given in return.

It's hard for me to decide who is in more denial the media or the supporters of this administration as represented by Karl Rove. Look into the situation of the German citizens as their democracy slipped away. Hide behind those good old feelings of confidence in this countries ability to deal with tough situations because of our democracy. This administration will go down in history as the absolute worst. But lets not forget the voters whose gut reaction was 'better vote for the guy who'll push the button first cause I'm scared. Well folks you got him. Not once but twice. For all of you who don't think this country can go bankrupt or that not speaking up is OK cause you never have before. It's time to educate yourselves on what's really going on. Any of the Democratic candidates are many times better than what we have now and Hillary would be just fine. For all the men who think that going to war in a country that had nothing to do with the terrorist attacks on the U.S. is logical there are 1000 women who know in their gut that it is a disaster. For all the stupid talk about 'values' when our citizens are without health care, our corporations are getting the old 'Republican payback' and our grandchildren and greatgrandchildren are facing a debt they will never be able to pay. The real loosers are the American people and Hillary knows this. She is highly qualified by her experience in the White House and her ability to negociate rather than 'demand' like the dry drunk we have in the White House. He would be funny if he weren't so dangerous. Sleepless Jan

I would like to congratulate Karl Rove and all presidential candidates for participating and serving in the political process of this great country. I admire all candidates both republican and democrat and wish to offer some "Karl Rove Quality of advice".But first let me state that Karl Rove is a genius, a bit pompus, but like any great quaterback one must have confidence. Karl Rove's reasoning is simple, know your opponent and distinguish yourself. It makes sense. As Rove mentioned, Hillary Clinton's every move and reaction is calculated so in order to defeat her, "show that you are real", I couldn't have put it better myself Karl! It was so easy to defeat Gore, expose his goofiness and calculated answers with responses like "fuzzy math". 'Let Gore beat himself, he's a moron' was one of the tickets the Rebublicans played in the 2000 election (Gore once claimed he invented the internet, his answers were not real they were scripted) . And in 2004 the republicans portrayed Kerry as "flip flopper" because he voted for it before he voted against it. Combined that with the constant images of Kerry looking like a Hippi on withdrawl, protesting the same war he fought for; finished him off.

Mr. Rove and his friends have done such a wonderful job of leading this country these last few years. I'm proud of the ill will that he and his cronies have generated all over the world and proud of the war he has waged in Iraq. I'm proud of the trillions that my grandchildren will pay for his cleverness in managing that war.
I will definitely consider his opinion when I vote. He is so trustworthy and is widely admired for his integrity. I can only hope that my sons turn out so admirably. He has convinced me not to vote for Hillary Clinton. Talk about the kettle calling the pot black!

Comment: Obama had a great opportunity to capture the minds and hopes of the American people in the last debate, but he failed. He also failed to integrate the Rove Doctrine: To distinguish yourself from your opponent and do not hesitate to say anything controversial. Obama's opportunity came when he was asked the same question Hillary Clinton stumbled on in the previous debate which was, do you believe that illegal immigrants should have drivers licenses? At that juncture he should have responded by stating that
"everyone in this country are human beings first and that they are very sensative to this issue because it affects millions of families and their relatives. As President I am willing to tackle this problem head on not just "patch it up"(THat would have made a memorable punch line). The first thing I would do as President when confronted with this issue is to get to the root of the problem. Why can't illegals become legal and get legal driver's licenses why do they have to be illegal in the first place. The short term solution would be to give illegals licenses with conditions just like visitors attain temporary driver's licenses or the licenses from their country have been evaluated and recognized. Licenses for illegals must have special conditions, if you are convicted of any driving felony or DUI your license is automatically revoked.

Comment: Comment: Illegals must pass the road test so we are sure that they understand the signs. I do not want illegals who can't read signs driving around with no license no insuranse and unable to read or understand road signs. Therefore it is the publics general interest that illegals are given licenses with conditions. These licenses must be renewed every year and the illegal immigrant records will be evaluated to see if he is on the pathway to legalization and whether the has complied with American laws in order to keep our roads safe. A President must always put the safety of the American people first. The second part of my solution is too work with people like the governor of New Mexico who is very knowlegable regarding this issue and could head a panel under my presidency to work with Mexican officials to provie a proper avenue for Mexicans. Mexicans are great people and they are our neighbors so we have to let them know like friends what we are doing is genuine. There is no doubt that we have to enforce existing immigration laws and enforce our borders in order to stop the flow of illegal immigration and start the flow of legal and controlled immigration where one of the prerequistes is too read, speak and write ENglish/ this must be funded by the Mexican govenments so that Mexicans will be motivated to learn English so their transition into American culture was as smooth as my parent's. I would also start a special intellectual task force that would be biparitisan and from both countries. THere task to develop economic plans to improve wages in Mexico. Like any relationship this one must be nurtured in order for it to succeed, we have done it with Canada there is no reason why we cannot work with our neighbors to improve living situations for everyone. This issue requires a president to be firm, but at the same time be sensitive to the fact that words like aliens and illegals are verying polarizing and divisive. I just want the American people to know that there are solutions to problems without reacting impulsively and making bad short term solutions like building a wall along the border. History has proven that a wall divides and does not work, look at Germany, over a million people found a way around and over the Iron Curtain Wall, and unfortunately thousands died and that wall. I do not want to shoot my neighbor i want him to respect me and understand that the values that America represents. The safety of the American people comes first!. IF OBAMA had given this answer he would have taken over this race, people would begin to believe that this man is brilliant, he can solve problems, he cares for the safety of not only Americans but human beings in general. He is willing to work with those on both sides of the isle to solve problems. He is fresh, he will bring us hope

Assuming there's any truth whatsoever to Rove's malicious little anecdote, it says a lot more about Mr. Rove than about Senator Clinton. He's free to spread whatever nasty, insinuating stories he chooses but the subject of the fable isn't free to call him on it.

boo hoo, I guess you haven't heard of MoveOndot orchestrate any lie you want to. How do you democrats reconcile your lunacy with your vapid understanding of the REAL WORLD.

You are definitely in the military and probably an operator. The Real World is we should have concentrated our forces in Afghanistan and hunted down the Taliban and al Queda all the way to Pakistan .I am left-wing democrat patriot who loves my country just as much as you. I am not a pacifist. It is my right to disagree with the present adminisration!

WHY SIR WILLINGTON--YOU SOUND LIKE QUITE THE INTELLECTUAL, A SCHOLAR I'M SURE, MAYBE EVEN A CEO. I'M SURE YOU HAVE A FIRM GRASP ON REALITY! I'M SURE YOUR INDENTURED SERVANTS KEEP YOU INFORMED AND UP-TO-DATE ABOUT THE PYONS YOU KNOW AS THE MIDDLE CLASS!

I, ON THE OTHERHAND, AM QUITE CERTAIN YOU DON'T HAVE THE SENSE TO COME IN OUT OF THE RAIN! YOU ELITIST JACKASS!

    • Posted By: Chris1729 @ 11/19/2007 9:50:53 PM

I believe that you're referring to "Sir" Willington's "peons", not his "pyons" (unless you're implying that he owns "pythons", which I can't seem to find mention of in his post). It's fascinating that you can double-think yourself into simultaneously being sure that Willington has "a firm grip on reality", and yet, on the other hand, being "quite certain that [he doesn't] have the sense to come in out of the rain." Maybe you meant that it is his peons who believe he has a firm grip on reality?

Yeah, I don't really haa point in this message. I'm just poking a little fun at the errors people make when they get engraged at ridiculous things.

I agree whole-heartedly with your position on immigration. I cannot think of a worse idea than building a border wall between the United States and Mexico. We need to include the Mexican government in devising a solution to this problem - one that serves *both* of our interests equally as well.

P.S. I recommend that, at the very least, you run a spell-check on your posts. I think you have a lot of good content, but it is tough to wade through the mis-spellings and grammatical errors. Lots of people are turned off by that and won't bother trying to figure out whatever it is you have to say. Thanks.

This guy belongs in prison. Why are you giving him an open forum to talk about politics when he helped elect the worst politically "elected" official in the history of the US?

  • Posted By: BillPhi @ 11/18/2007 9:44:59 PM

Tell you what, Karl. You just keep on a-believin'. Tell ya what though, you're a patriotic dude so I figure you will respect President Hillary Clinton, admonish Americans to follow her blindly and unquestioningly, fight for her right to tap your phone, and strongly state that any criticism of her is actually criticism of America. I mean, that is what you believe, right? That the president always deserves that respect? I mean, you're not a flip-flopping waffler, are you? You either believe in the president under all circumstances or you don't.

Nah, I'm just kiddin' ya. I know that when you right-wing froot loops talk about 'supporting the president', you mean only if that particular president happens to be Republican. Still, it was fun to say. Good luck in the dark for the next few years, Mr. Turd Blossom. The (Republican) party is over. :~)

    • Posted By: Caruso1 @ 11/19/2007 9:44:10 PM

Would you still believe in your President under any circumstances if he suspended the Constitution and stopped free elections? Seems this administration supports democracy only when it fit their needs. Re: Pakistan

We need change, we need health care, we need to upgrade the nation's infrastructure and need to get out of the mid east quiqmire. We need to take care of ourselves.

    We need a woman--not a cowardly man-leading us on !!
