"I never *said* she put the mirror there." You sound like you're in junior high. I would have been mad, too. What a *** little dweeb you are.

Well played Mr. Rove. You throw the kitchen sink at Hillary, making all your critiques unusable by any Democratic candidate henceforth as adopting your framing. And then you articulate a way to defeat her by avoiding any and all policy considerations, suggesting mere illusions like "hope" and looking like your eventual GOP candidate gives the appearance of caring for minorities or health care, etc., without any suggestion they actually, you know . . . DO anything to solve American's concerns. You still got it, Dude. I just hope your disease isn't contagious.

Bush's Brain sure writes a boring column. He also left out his "winning" election tactics like spreading rumors about the opposing candidate having a child of color out of wedlock, being gay or a pedophile.

Then there was the outing of Valerie Plame, firing US attorneys for not prosecuting non existant voter fraud, being a honcho in the White House Iraq Group, helping Swift Boat John Kerry, ignoring Katrina victims and the list goes on and on. For all his talk about mirrors, I don't see how Rove can stand to look at himself in one. Hard to believe one fat little neocon t u r d like Karl could do so much damage.

And don't be fooled by his talk about Hillary. Rove has been rooting for Hillary from the start. I'm sure he'll have another smear and fear campaign ready for the Clintons come election time.

Rove is the worse of the worst. From the time he stole Democrat's letterhead to mislead voters early in his career as the general of "the end justifies the means" tacticians; to the push poll about John MaCain having an illegitimate black child in the 2000 South Carolina primary, referring to the kid from Bangladesh McCain and his wife had adopted; and the selling of the six trillion dollar Iraq misadventure, Rove has defecated on the Constitution while claiming to be a proud American. It's a good thing we keep our magazines in the bathroom, as I plan to return the favor when I see his evil thoughts in print. J. Alegria. Chicago, IL

What great news - Newsweek has hired a pompous a### who has ruined government. What a pathetic attempt to get readership. I will no longer read your pathetic excuse for a news magazine -- you are just a propoganda arm now .

Rove would love Hillary to be the nominees. She plays politics the way he likes it. Would love to hear your feedback on this new post:

Hillary's vast "experience" . . . at not learning from her mistakes

I am sorry, but Hillary may have swung the wrong door wide open by advocating that she is more experienced than Obama. So what exactly is her experience? How has she done on issues of the utmost importance to America. Take her approach to healthcare, the Iraq war, Iran, immigration, transparency in government, and others. Her latest effort in trying to smear Obama while appearing not to only reconfirms the accusation that her approach to politics is at its core just as dirty as that of most if not all of the viable candidates on the opposite side of the aisle.

"I inherited her West Wing office. Shortly after the 2001 Inauguration, I made a little talk saying I appreciated having the office because it had the only full-length vanity mirror in the West Wing, which gave me a chance to improve my rumpled appearance. The senator from New York confronted me shortly after and pointedly said she hadn't put the mirror there. I hadn't said she did, just that the mirror was there."

Rove will say he didn't tell a lie, but he sure wanted people to believe something that wasn't true. This is exactly why no one should ever believe anything he says.

Newsweek, please, have some self respect. Hiring this guy is going to destroy whatever credibility you have left.

How disgusting Newsweek would hire Karl Rove. I hope the same thing happens to Newsweek that happened to the last guy that hired him.

Karl Rove has done a lot of damage to our democracy, and you reward him with a regular column. He campaigns with lies, from the Texas governor's race to the White house, he's treated every federal agency as an arm of the republic party and expected every federal employee to work for the Bush administration instead of the American people. He should be shunned, not rewarded.

  • Posted By: Loo Hoo. @ 11/17/2007 10:40:46 PM

Excellent, Karl! In dog whistle speak, you encourage the republican candidates to speak to voters in exactly the opposite way that the Cheney/Bush/Rove administration worked and behaved. PRETEND LIKE YOU GIVE A RIP ABOUT AMERICANS!

  • Posted By: Loo Hoo. @ 11/17/2007 10:38:00 PM

Cool. So Karl is advising republicans to pretend like they are democrats! In dog whistle language. Not so's they'd REALLY do any of those hideous things, but just pay enough lip service so they can be elected. Not gonna work, hotshot.
