Let's see...Karl brought us the Worst President Ever by using political tricks and manipulation that would make Machiavelli look like an ACLU activist, and now Newsweek is giving him a soapbox? Who's next - Goerring's ghost? Beelzebub? Osama?

Maybe Karl should also study the second act of Lee Atwater's life, since he so assiduously studied all of Atwater's first-act bad habits. When Atwater repented his evil after coming down with cancer, he said:

"My illness helped me to see that what was missing in society is what was missing in me: a little heart, a lot of brotherhood. The '80s were about acquiring -- acquiring wealth, power, prestige. I know. I acquired more wealth, power, and prestige than most. But you can acquire all you want and still feel empty.... I don't know who will lead us through the '90s, but they must be made to speak to this spiritual vacuum at the heart of American society, this tumor of the soul."

Newsweek is colluding with Rove and other neocons to keep the Lie going. You are paying a traitor who outed a CIA agent to be a Bush apologist. MY spouse and I boycotting both you and Time magazine. The Huffington Post and other web outlets are the media future anyway. Adios MSM. Joe Hartill

Why should anyone listen to Rove? He has helped divide this country as never before and was totally wrong about the 2006 elections, not to mention being a part of the outing of a national security asset, Valerie Plame. He is a proven liar and does not believe in democracy. He is not a journalist, only a party hack who should be dismissed as irrelevant.

I am strongly considering cancelling my subscription to Newsweek. How dare you give this scum a forum to spew his vile nonsense. If you don't think he is vile, just do a little research on what he did to McCain in South Carolina in 2000. Newsweek needs to rethink this big time.

illegal wiretapping; torture; unitary executive; outing undercover CIA agent; national debt ; Iraq IEDs not WMDs; My Pet Goat; John Bolton; scientific illiteracy; global warming denier; stem cell research blocker; faith based legislation; Terry Schaivo; Katrina; incompetence; Gonzo; bootlicker

Poor Karl Rove. One of America's most despised citizens yet still Newsweek finds his schtick relevant. Keep spinning away Mr. Karl as I will not be listening, nor reading your advice. What a sorry excuse for a human you are.

I have been a long time Newsweek subscriber - I cannot believe that this magazine is now stooping to include Karl Rove as a columnist after all he has done to destroy the values once associated with the United States of America. Rove should be in jail, not included as a columnist in Newsweek.

Rove did not directly say that Hilary had placed the mirror there but he sure insinuated it. Why else go into the description of his office and that it had formerly been Hillary's. He is a master of dirty tricks.

I love how Rove wants the Republican candidate to talk about everything Bush and his supporters haven't for the last seven years. That's exactly why no one will take a chance and vote Republican again. They had seven years to show what they can do. We aren't going to be swayed by what they're "talking" about in the eighth election year. Actions count louder than words.

Rove's track record shows that he is no longer important, his recommendations irrelevant.

Waste your time strategizing with him on how to beat Hillary. Or look to the American people and realize that she is not going to be the Republican's opponent.

Obama has the answers and solutions for America and the world. Why is anyone considering Hillary? Why would you want to try to beat him? Anyone who cares about uniting the country is not going to follow the advice of a loser who thinks elections have to be controlled instead of respected and supported.
