    i'm going to try and leave a bloody fingerprint on a piece of toilet paper -- somehow i doubt that's possible, even on the worst European T.P.

    It is impossible for amateurs, miles away, to solve crimes best left to professionals. We should respect the rights of the accused.. If two tenants shared an apartment, it is logical that fingerprints from both might be found all over everything. I hope the Itlaian poli ce are more competent than the ones in Aruba, re the Natalee Holloway disappearance. It is terrible to lose a child, under any circumstances. Youngsters, especially girls, in foreign lands, may not be aware of dangers that are absent back home. But in no way are these victims to blame for suffering such tragic abd hideous deaths.

However, you then doubted the evidence based on your "logically speaking" and you questioned the local law enforcement and the forensic professionals.       Thats very true..that fingerprints will be all over the aparmtnet..belonging to all that lived there..but this is different..the fingerprints...are of THAT NITE..people and forensic scientists can alocate a fingerprint and say when it was positioned in that place, and specially because it was bloody that shoes even more proof in the case. Its not like they find a random fingerprint..and then they acuse Amanda ..not really how it works.

    The fact that one of you turns this murder into a racially motivated event and the other into a drug and sex-college student screw up is just ridiculous. If you even read the news, most of the un solved murder cases have nothing to do with either issue. Most creeps I know and have read about in my lifetime are NOT college students, but grown adults and MOST involve drugs and sleazy sex. Don't even try to blame this on a particular AGE group. Most kids just want to study, make good grades and fit in. With all of the pressure that adults and society force upon them and the concept of what is "successful", most college students aren't having any fun. I ASSURE YOU. Middle-aged men are much more disgusting than most college aged kids I know. Give up on that argument. As for the race card-STOP THIS RIDICULOUS BS America!!! This has nothing to do with race or nationality. A young woman was brutally murdered in her own bedroom! Discuss the FACTS!!!! I know it's hard for you people-I am surprised that you can read at all.

      I'm offended that you would assume that because someone plays the race card they must be American. There is no reference to the location of that posting and people that are American don't refer to their country as America. We are the United States and by nationality American. But we wouldn't say in America, we would say here in the US. Get your facts straight before you start throwing out false accusations just because someone said something offensive to you.

    Meredith's throat was not slit.

    She was unmercifully stabbed through her throat from the left side to the right side. She virtually drowned in her own blood, and she died knowing that she had been murdered.

    She was stabbed through the throat, from left to right, with the knife breaking her skin on both sides. She virtually drowned in her own blood, and she died knowing she had been murdered.

    Amanda Knox is the murderer, definitely. The other people assisted and should be equally punished. Let them all rot in jail for the rest of their lives.

    My heart goes out to Meredith's mother. To lose her only child in such a horrific, senseless way makes the pain of losing her even more impossible to imagine. I send true compassion to her and all who love Meredith. I know that she won't be forgotten in the midst of all the passionate opinions!

    If anyone knows Meredith Kercher's mom, please pass along our deepest sympathy. Losing one's only child in such a nightmarish way is too painful for most of us to imagine, I know, but there are people "out there" who are thinking of you and all the others who love Meredith. We are so sorry for your loss.

    I hope Amanda Knox rots in an Italian prison for the rest of her life! What's a life sentance for murder in Italy anyway, 10 years? If she had killed one of my family members, I'd be waiting for her when she got out, if you know what I mean!

    Hmm, I am a college student and yes, this is a terrible and cruel thing that occured to this young student-but it is a fact that most college students DO engage in drugs and high risk sex activities

With all of the pressure that is put on young people to succeed in a world that measures success by material gain, I can assure you that most of them don't have time to look for drugs and sleazy sex.     Well its hard to comment on this crime, it's easy to say "S/HE should have.." but in thet end its a matter of no one accountable for thier actions, or taught to be. Take the Jena 6 case in america, had 6 whites for any reason attacked a black it would be a hate crime, let blacks attack a white and its just crime? A reversal of the old racist a white kills a black its self defese, a black kills a white its murder, a black kills a black and its a non event.
