YOU ARE FAIRLY RIGHT. THEY WILL TAKE YEARS AND YEARS IN NEGOTIATIONS; MEANWHILE THEY MAKE MORE SETTLMENT IN THE PALISTINIAN LANSD; KICK MORE PALISTANIANS OUT OF THEIR HOMES AND LANDS(AS THEY DID 3000 YEARS AGO; WHEN THEY CAME AS BEDWINS FROM THE DESERT AND KILLED ALL THE PALISTINIANS MEN; WOMEN; CATTLES AND TREES- IF YOU DO NOT BELIEVE ME; HAVE A LOOK TO WHAT THEY WROTE IN THIER TORAT (NOT GODS TORAH)_. AFTER SOME YEARS THEY WILL SAY THAT THE SITUATION ON THE GROUND HAS BEEN CHANGED. OF COARCE ALL OF THIS WILL SUPPORTED BY THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENTS AND SENATES WHO ARE TOTALLY UNDER THE COMMAND OF THE ZIONISM (NOT THE REAL JEWS)

I believe that peace is better than war and to proceed down any path, it takes one step at a time, no matter how small the step may be. Accorrding to the comment by "pinkpanther" the U.S. armed everyone. This is not a true. Actually, the other communist governements have a great hand in arming certain people. The Russian governement is especially capable of arming other countries, as they have already done. They refuse to pressure Iran into giving up the nuclear programs, which they have admitted is very dangrous to the world. Iran's nuclear programs is in fact a danger to the entire world. They will not stop at devolping nuclear weapons. They will give them to terrorists to attachk other western countries. This is why Iran does not back a peace between Israel, Plastinian, and Arab Nations. Once peace is reaced, Iran will have no reason for it's propaganda. Iran is a weak country with no real military technology power. Devolping nuclear weapons would mean they can blackmail the western world. A prospect many see as a beginning of WWIII.

Could Bushs' late efforts for peace be as simple as Bush being jealous of Gores' Nobel Peace Prize and him wanting one for himself with no real peace?

two men can say peace all they want, it's up to all the people in the region and the people will not say, or heed peace! As it has been for 3000 years worth of revenge! Will it work, with us telling them "you must do dis, dat ,and de other ting, but we don't" the last word to answer the question at hand-NO!

The Israelis do not want an official Palestinean state because it will slow their ongoing program of "ethnic cleansing" in Palestine. They are determined to conquer the entire region and to drive Arabs out.

The Saudi's refuse to even shake hands with Olmert; Hezbollah is an organization committed to the destruction of Israel; the Hamas leader, Ismail Haniyeh, just stated, "we will not recognize Israel"; indeed, even in the Gaza region which Israel gave to the Palestinians last year, over 1000 rockets have been randomly fired into Israel just since June. Yet, the twisted and corrupt thinking exists, even in this country, that Israel is ever to blame for all of the hatred and endless violence against it. Do not expect peace, just more blaming of Israel from those who wish to destroy them and from those who if it happens will just think Israel deserved it.

If were looking for peace, all parties need to be at the talks, that's a given. President Clinton was the last chance this country gave that region a chance for peace. Get rid of Pres Bush and we may get some where diplomatically in the world. Until then, we'll remain unrespected and hated by the world community.

You must be to ignorant to know about the peace talks going on now than right?

Why is there still anti-sematism in thw world even after Nazi Germany? You make me sick. Either your a Nazi or a Islamic Extremist or your just plain ignorant and smoked pot instead of doingyour homework in history class, either way you should be wiped off the face of the Earth.

Expanding on a previous comment, as long as there are any Israelis alive in the world, there will never be peace in that region. What's worse, even if they kill off all the Israelis, then they'll start squabbling among themselves, witness the current fighting between the Shiites and Sunnis. There will always be minor factions that are characterized by their total intolerance for any other point of view. You'd think that after 1400 years that they would have solved their disagreement, but obviously they haven't. Time to leave it alone. They don't want democracy over there, and never will. It's not in their nature. They seem to like being dominated by their religious dictators.

How can you attempt to have peace when everyone is not represented at the table. This is window dressing.

  • Posted By: nawawimohamad @ 11/27/2007 3:02:47 AM

I agree with you mfenwick. The peace conference is a farce.

As long as there is one Jew and one Palestinian alive there will never be peace in the Middle East. Those people over there do not want peace. There never has been peace and never will be. That is why the United States needs to mind its own business and withdraw all troops from that area of the world. But that will never happen because the Jews own America. Kissinger and his Bildenberg buddies will see that the pot stays stirred.

Well, it is a good gesture that 40 countries from the Islamic Countries (Middle East) including Saudi Arabia, Syria and Israel participating in the most urgently needed peace process in the Middle East . This is going to be tough indeed for the United States to oversee such a magnitude of difficulties concerning the peace proccess. The peace relies on the proposal by both Israeli's and the Palestenians over the issues of territory, border and off course refugy issues, We have to see which parties have the real interest of peace in this regard. It is good that the Saudis and the Syrians are participating but their reluctannce of agreement pursuant to the break through in the peace process will really depend in the upcoming meeting in Annapolis, Maryland. once they declare that they are all serious about this initiative.

Again, we have to look ahead of the intention of the Iranians and Hamas in the West Bank territory. They have flatly rejected the idea of any such agreement that will meterialize? This meeting perhaps has been called by the Bush Administration just to give an impression that he has tried hard to achieve such a peace. But in a nutshell, they have not tried to do anything early on that would have at least given an opportunity for a constructive dialogue. I think they have totally missed the boat in this regard. Again, we hope for the best for all the participants to discuss and bridge the gap closer among themselves and work for a lasting peace in that region.

THIS IS AN URGENT ACTION ALERT:

S 1959 "Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007" must be stopped at all costs.

Pick up your phone today and contact your US Senator's office to instruct them to vote "NO" on S.1959.

If this bill is passed, and becomes law, your words and actions could be considered terrorism. S 1959 EVISCERATES FREE SPEECH, and empowers the govt. to declare ANYTHING they deem an "extremist belief system", instantly make you a terrorist, resulting in stripping of US citizenship, torture, and/or execution, with no habeas corpus rights, no ability to challenge even in the US Supreme Court.

Contact your Senator and let them know they will be looking for another job if they vote yes on this bill, which is now introduced into the Senate as S.1959 THIS BILL **MUST NOT** BECOME LAW, PERIOD.

If this becomes law, your words could be considered "promoting an extremist belief system", and all they have to say is that you are using PLANNED OR THREATENED *FORCE* (DOES NOT HAVE TO BE VIOLENCE) --FORCE by exposing CORRUPTION, CRIMINALITY against "THE CIVILIAN POPULATION OF THE UNITED STATES, *****OR ANY SEGMENT THEREOF" READ THE BILL MANY TIMES AND VERY CAREFULLY--YOU ARE THE TERRORIST (WHICH MEANS THEY CAN STRIP YOUR CITIZENSHIP, AND HAVE YOU TORTURED AND EXECUTED).

Senate is back in session today, do not hesitate, call, fax, email your Senator ASAP.

The Palestinians have yet to take the most important step towards peace. They still teach their school children that Israel must be destroyed. It can be found in various school texts from the 12th grade all the way down to the 2nd grade. And these are the "new" text books,,the results of a 7 year revamping program by the Palestinian Authority Education Ministry. Until there is change in basic Palestinian attitudes there can never be a real Peace.
