Comment: I am moved by Justin Mott's piece on the Hanoi Orphanage and am interested in donating money. I would like to get others to donate as well and believe that knowing where the money would be going would encourage that. I would love to see Justin team with Newsweek on an on-going basis to educate Americans on the situation with these kids. I believe that I as well as others, would like to see how the money would be spent to make sure it does not go to administrative waste or government officials. Would Newsweek be willing to do a piece to educate us on how the money would be spent?

Comment: I don't think it's so much the accountability of a war fought decades ago then the accountability of helping to heal the generations that need it. After doing more research on HSVC and their programs, I found them to be one of the only organizations I trust to take the money we send and care for their little ones as thoroughly as possible. I believe you must specify which program you would like to contribute to for instance, the Ba Vi orphans, or else no preference. If you haven't already, you should check out the site www.hsvc.org and research for yourselves.
