Comment: Believe it or not security is absolutely nessesary during presidential elections. The CIA's assassination of John F Kennedy is evidence of that.
The New Hampshire incident highlights the price of protection.

Comment: What a waste of money. But this is America where all the citizens are so rich and the democratically elected government can always raise taxes and spend them as it wishes, why complain?
Comment: If they want protection let THEM pay for it. I couldn't care less if all of them got hurt or killed. Our country would be better off. We shouldn't have to pay for their protection.
Comment: Why do we have campaign's start two years early. These folks that are running for two years---need to work at the job tfor which hey were elected-----if not an elected officel---just get back to their day job. There should be an absolute time limit on campaigns. All these millions of dollars that are spent on running for months and months---could be channeled into education--and better yet---developing a renewable source of energy that would free us from people like Chavez and the Saudi's.
Comment: In '68 election no incumbent ran.
Comment: I think you looking in the wrong direction. This man needs help and this should serve to WAKE UP THE CANDIDATES as to there is another issue, the issue of getting Americans with mental issues some help. The cannot work, have no health insurance, and no medical treatments. There are a million and a half out there who are in jail instead of a hospital. That's just WRONG!!!
Comment: One of the most important issues which should be covered in the campaigns is how to handle treatment of people who are mentally ill, cannot get or lose a job, therefore do not have health coverage and never receive treatment. Wake up candidates! There are about a million and a half Americans who could be useful citizens if they are given some medication and are monitored. Just change the laws so that we could help them instead of letting them rot in prison or harm people on the streets. WAKE UP CANDIDATES!
Comment: I agree with you Penny77777, it could have very well been a publicity stunt to gain attention and maybe even sympathy for Clinton...I would put NOTHING past her and if elected, American citizens can say goodbye to the remainder of their Constitutional rights and freedoms...We the People do not have a voice with her or most of those running for the Presidential office, just as We don't with the Bush Administration and this Democratic Congress...check their voting records and see for yourself how many times they have used the power of the vote you lent them against you.
Comment: Police have arrested a man who took several hostages at the New Hampshire campaign office of Sen. Hillary Clinton, and Clinton was probably behind it, just as the Jews in Israel bomb their own places to make it look like the Palestinians did it. What great publicity!!!
