I don't really know what's going to become of the late great United States of America. This ad is just so lame it isn't even funny. I really get tired of the "political games" that go on in and before an election year. It's so sad that when it comes down to the real issues, the real problems and needs of the American people, there is no straight forward honesty or real discussion. It's jabs, digs and misdirection all around. Some of the answers make no real sense, it's just doubletalk and middle road, sitting on the fence type responses.
I worry about the future that awaits my children...with the way this country has fallen to #63 by the UN ranking, it just makes no sense. If I had the money, I might do what a bunch of people are doing. They are taking some serious time off and going someplace else. In Canada, Europe and elsewhere, my children may have the advantages and opportunities that we once had here. I've never been afraid of living in the US, until these last few years. People in America should not be afraid of their gov't - not in a country that is supposed to be a diplomatic leader with our Constitution. But that document hasn't escaped the terror that citizens now face in their own country. Terror perpetrated by it's own legal system, it's gov't leaders and military command. But who is giving the orders to target citizens? Just look to the white house and tell me that you still believe the people govern this country....

All I have to say is, get ready people!!! Wake up, Ron Paul is the man that this country needs. Check out his web site at www.ronpaul2008.com, and read what he stands for. He is the only canidate that makes sense, he dosen't mess around, and play the "politics game", he is the real deal.
    RON PAUL------RON PAUL-------RON PAUL--------RON PAUL---------RON PAUL---------RON PAUL--------

Vote Ron Paul for president in 2008!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is hope for America.

After reading almost ALL of these discussions, I thought I'd put my 2 cents into these discussions.
!. Does anyone remember that cute" little comment Hilary made back at the beginning of Bill's campaign? She wasn't a stay-at-home mother who baked cookies. hat has stuck with me all of these years because I am a stay-at-home mom who made a choice to give up a great career to raise my kids...but not to bake cookie...I'm a terrible baker!
    1. Why eel sorry for her, and think she's a saint for sticking with o morals Bill all these years? She obviously did it to further her own career...I would love to have a woman as president...just not Hilary..
    3. Religion should have ABSOLUTELY no place in a government election...morals, yes, religion NO! There are just too many religions in our country to be mixing them with the government. After the last election, a talk show host asked a Southern Evangelist why the south, being so big on religion and morals, has the highest divorce rate in the country He had no answer.
    4. If Chuck Norris wants to support M. Huckabee, good for him. Celebrities are ALWAYS supporting candidates in a very vocal manner....This time it's one that's not supporting a democrat for a change.
    5. What are Americans really looking for in a president, a leader? I hope something better than they did in Memphis...because they re-elected a total incompetent.......Maybe it's time to give Americans a time for a History an Government class....In fact, maybe we should all have to take these classes and the only we can vote is to pass.....just a thought.....

  • Posted By: Tiyelaw @ 12/05/2007 8:28:43 AM

This is interesting that the powers that be think they can serve up candidates with celebrity endorsements like they are selling Campbell"s soup. All this to get us to focus on attack ads, sound bites and hairdos, rather than the facisct, corporatist transformation that is takingplace, that threatens to morph the U.S. into a shadow of its democratic self. Where is the truth. Who now has compassion for the dwindling middle class. Why are we allowing thrid world economies without safety and health regimes to manufacture products and resell them to us. Why is a coollege education becoming a norn for the rich, regardless of talent or interest, and an invitation to financial indenture for the kids of the middle class. That was not the deal when I was growing up. College was more or less affordable. Why is the media not on the job here and speaking truth to power, analyzing the new and reporting the facts from more than one source. Why is it that all we Americans are supposed to care about is shopping? Why is it that after 9/11 we were asked to shop and spy on other Americans rather than help each other, vote, check on the elderly, hug our children, visit a museum or art gallery, help a nonprofit, mentor a child. No, we were told to shop and visit DisneyWorld. Is it any wonder we get Sleepy and Snoopy and Goofy for candidates? Is that why our natural landscape is transforming into one giant shopping mall, where citizens now assume the morals and values of capitalists/consumers over parental, social and friendship values? Talk about a Revolution...wait until Americans wake up.

Theres a lot of things you say are probably true,But I hope youre not nieve enough to think hillary or obama is the answer. If you do you need to get megavote.com and see how the dems. vote and vote party lines.disney is the mirror of democratic party.

      • Posted By: johnpp2 @ 12/05/2007 10:24:59 PM

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that the original poster is a Ron Paul supporter. bandit97118, you are a walking poster child for how the corporate media has brainwashed us with propaganda. The "frontrunners" are not the frontrunners just because the paid off talking heads say they are. They make it so by talking only about them and then they laugh at people like you behind your back when it ends up working.

  • Posted By: hasimp @ 12/05/2007 3:11:02 PM

Religion should have nothing to do with being President! I caught CNN this morning and they were talking about Obama being Muslim, wich he is not but they were saying that pretty much noone would vote for him if he was. That is stupid!!! Oh and yes those ppl should be shot. lol

  • Posted By: jojoc10 @ 12/02/2007 12:03:12 PM

I just hope Chuck Norris doesn't read any of these postings, otherwise your all in big trouble!

    • Posted By: Republicrats_suck @ 12/05/2007 3:09:24 PM

Not to worry, jojoc10... Chuck Norris, like the BUSHman, can't read!

  • Posted By: astack @ 12/05/2007 2:51:46 PM

i think the former comment is great in summing up the liberal opinion of anyone who has principles and beliefs...absolutely discusting...Huckabee has said numerous times he is not running for pastor of America, but president of America....however to recommend the shooting of a person who follows thier moral beliefs is completely rediculous....at least Huckabee stands for something

  • Posted By: hasimp @ 12/05/2007 2:32:57 PM

What the hell does someones religion have to do with running a country? Anyone that votes for someone because of their religion is an idiot and should be shot. Oh and I call these people "rednecks"

  • Posted By: josh.smith @ 12/05/2007 2:08:36 PM

We need someone in office that is going to be loyal to the whole country more equal for the common person not more toward the rich and if huckabee is that person then it should be him but i doesn't need to be someone that will not honor our flag that is a slap in the face to all loyal americans.

I found this hilarious, but I will never vote for Huckabee. I prefer my religion and government separate, thanks.

Norris says he would tattoo the words "In God We Trust" on the forehead of every atheist. Think about that for a while. Maybe we could put little numbers on their wrists while we're at it.

How old are you, and did Mommy and Daddy say it was ok to be online? What you wrote is like saying all democrats lie because one did under oath, saying how he did not have sex with that woman.

      • Posted By: Republicrats_suck @ 12/05/2007 1:01:57 PM

"Liberty is worth dying for" must do the dying. Not other peoples' loved ones. Why aren't you in Iraq? And why not take Billary, Rudiani, Mittney, Hackabee and the rest of the Republicrats along with you. You all seem to enjoy killing and maiming other folks' kids.

To quote Ben Franklin: ???Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both.???

    • Posted By: Republicrats_suck @ 12/05/2007 10:34:55 AM

Ron Paul is the only person qualified to be President. Dr. Paul upholds the Constitution unconditionally. Vote Ron Paul, vote for integrity. It's a Ron Paul Revolution.

    • Posted By: Goody @ 12/03/2007 4:05:33 AM

So Ron Paul is the only person qualified to be president? "He serves no special iinterests?"
Pleeeaze, if Mr. Paul gets elected and you think this country is polarized now, hold on to your boot straps!
Here's an individual who during his 1988 Libertarian bid for president said he would abolish public schools, eliminate Social Security and all farm subsides, do away with the FBI and CIA and withdraw from NATO. In addition, he voted against resolutions calling on the government of Vietnam to release political prisoners and on the Arab League to help stop the killing in Darfur!! Folks, don't sell yourself short. If something seems too good to be true, it usually is!

      • Posted By: Republicrats_suck @ 12/05/2007 12:49:18 PM

You are right, Goody. Ron Paul is the only person qualified to be president. He serves no special interests. It would be nice if you read a copy of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. There is no mention of us being the police of the world. BTW, how would you feel if some foreign nation passes resolutions on what the U.S. ought to do? Now, hold on to your boot straps because if elected he surely will eliminate the leaches that suck on taxpayer funds.

I was leaning in favor of Huckabee until the Chuck Norris ad was run...I am offended that Huckabee is making jokes about one of the most important issues of the century. Illegal Immigration needs to be addressed and not with jokes. Sorry Mike you had me and now i have to pic another canidate.

    • Posted By: LIBERTY is worth dying for!!! @ 12/05/2007 12:24:44 PM

Is that the only reason that you are looking for someone new to vote for because of how he stated his beliefs? He knows it???s an important issue why else would he say it the way he did. If you get offended so easily you might want to work on getting a thicker skin. How do you think he should have said it? Sound like he wants to stop illegal immigration, that???s why they are called illegal immigrants.

to mjb1teach: fanatics like you are what brought bush to power. what did the conservatives say during the 2000 election? VOTE BUSH! HE'S A BELIEVER! look what we got now....
you shouldnt vote for the person who believes in god. you should vote for the person who has the idea's and plans to help bring this country out of the bad times that its in now.

  • Posted By: Mjb1teach @ 12/05/2007 11:39:01 AM

Vote based on Biblical principles...who will follow the Word? If it's Mike Huckabee and it appears mightily that way, then he gets my vote. God is NEVER wrong, vote Huckabee or anyone else who will seek His Divine providence and counsel.

    • Posted By: hasimp @ 12/05/2007 12:09:01 PM

You are gay!!! God made the decision for us to go to Iraq. Don't you think that was wrong? And where was God to tell me that she had a fake ID and wasn't really old enough to do it? Huh ?

  • Posted By: sandikay @ 12/05/2007 8:18:33 AM

why is every weathy person a republican? Can it be beacuse the republicans are only for the wealthy? And the weathy stick together. After another 8 years of a republican president we middle class people have had enough. We would like to survive also. And why are all men afraid to have a strong women as President? Could it be that maybe a woman can fix the mess that men have created?

    • Posted By: LIBERTY is worth dying for!!! @ 12/05/2007 11:36:53 AM

You have wealthy on both the democratic and republican party or how else would the democratic party still be a party if wealthy people were not around to give them money too. I'm 37 years old,and a man that is not afraid to have a woman President as long as she has the ability to send men and woman to war knowing some will die protecting LIBERTY and FREEDOM no matter what the other mothers of this country will say or think of her while she does her job of running this country for the American People. Remember FREEDOM IS NOT FREE and can not be bought, no matter what people think.

    • Posted By: bandit97118 @ 12/05/2007 9:37:58 AM

i agree with you about your comments on republicans who support sending all our blue collar jobs to china ,But I havent heard hillary say shes gonna fix it. But the way i see it useing the democratic party to fix it is giving up my freedom,my second amendment rights,my right to freedom of religion where i am not even allowed to pray on public property. where they can take my land for whatever or whoever.private or public! Its a guarentee the dems are gonna raise taxes on the middle The upper and the lower class. They will sell out our soviernty to the united nations where I will be taxed again, without representation I might add. the dems support gay marriage and abortion on demand.stem cell research where fetuses become a commodity with no rights.the dems dont support a strong military and national defense because they think no one in this world means us no harm even though china and iran are building up thier nuclaer capacities and thier militaries. wake up america !!!!!!

    • Posted By: JEANNIE64 @ 12/05/2007 9:12:21 AM

GET REAL, ALL REPUBLICANS WEALTHY, I DON'T HAVE A DIME IN MY POCKET OR ANYWHERE ELSE AND I'M A REPUBLICAN. BECAUSE OF THEIR PLATFORM. I COULD NEVER VOTE FOR A PARTY THAT STANDS FOR THE THINGS THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY TRIES EVERY YEAR TO PUSH DOWN OUR THROATS

    • Posted By: scoobieruby64 @ 12/05/2007 8:32:35 AM

Not every wealthy person is a republican are you that naive? And why blame someone else for your problems? thats a 2 year old s comment. I don't trust Hillary period she might have a lot of the right ideas for you and I agree that a woman would be albe to clean up the mess that all these men have made. (Yes just 1 woman! to clean up all that) But I don't think hillarys the one she needs to clean her own house first starting with Billy Boy.

  • Posted By: Sonia4Him @ 12/05/2007 11:21:30 AM

As a Christian I am so thankful to see Conservative men stand up for their beliefs, which is to stand up for God. Sadly this nation and others confuse God and Jesus with "religion". Good for Chuck Norris and for Mr.Huckabee. God Bless America.

  • Posted By: Tiyelaw @ 12/05/2007 8:12:55 AM

Half-Cherokee? Chuck Norris? Please. Why not just say he's the gun loving, karate-chopping, IRS hating, race baiting southern white that he is, since no half Cherokee in their right mind would vote for any Republican..

    • Posted By: hasimp @ 12/05/2007 8:50:40 AM

Chuck Norris is da man!!! And you are gay!!! I will endorse chuck for president of the world.

      • Posted By: newsweekreader123 @ 12/05/2007 10:44:06 AM
