    Hard to figure out.

If I had made as many questionable decisions as this gentleman has reportable done. I'd have a new job in Washington too...sweeping streets (and probably related to a community service plea agreement).).

Would the Democratic candidates be wiling to sign a pledge that Paul Wolfowitz will not be offered a position in their administration?

The fact is the Bush led Whitehouse can not afford to put anyone but another criminal on staff. Bush and his band of crooks are facing possible war crimes prosecutions. As it stands they require staff who like themselves have a lot to loose if the true extent of their illegal actions are discovered. I for one will make sure their violations do not go unnoticed by the proper authority. I think the type of torture these pukes will eventually meet in the prison shower room will perhaps make waterboarding an appealing alternative.

The halls of government are no longer stalked by Americans. These are Elitists, whose only alliegance is to power and money. Do not make the mistake of thinking thse people think of you as anything like countrymen. You are a peon, to be used or crushed as they wish. Notice no impeachment? Notice the timbre and tone, not to mention the sublstance of recent legislation. Vote Ron Paul . It may already be too late...........

Adding more fuel to the fiery disaster that is the W. Bush administration. Wonder where his girfriend is gonna work. We'll be paying her salary, too, no doubt. Merely another small sign that the apocalypse is upon us. God help us.

For those of you who may have forgotten, this is only ONE of the manth things "boy genius" got wrong about Iraq:
We have no idea what kind of ethnic strife might appear in the future, although as I have noted, it has not been the history of Iraq's past.

    PAUL WOLFOWITZ, FEBRUARY 27, 2003*

*At that time, Wolfowitz was the Deputy Secretary of Defense

Wolfowitz is a prime example of a man educated beyond his intelligence

  • Posted By: radamisto99 @ 12/03/2007 12:59:33 AM

This is astounding! At least Wall Street CEO"s get canned after messing up.

The Neocons last big push is bombing Iran. Bush probably has Rumsfeld on the payroll also, tucked away in some plush little office. At least Fitzgerald got Scooter convicted, and Lord Black, 2 other well known Neocons. Black is to be sentenced on Dec.12 for up to 35 yrs. To date Lord Blacks friend Richard Perle is still trying to push the Neocon brand while Karl Rove is revising history. Scotty and Alberto, well enough said

This is outragous! Defense Department's Office of the Inspector General has said Wolfowitz played a key role in the cooking of intelligence related to Iraq's ties to al-Qaeda and its supposed cache of chemical and biological weapons. That effort helped the White House lay the groundwork for a US-led invasion..Wolfowitz is considered by many to be criminal in his past conduct- and wrong in most of his predictions.

old lies never die, they just get rearranged. Be thankful for the think tanks of the right like A.E.I. and Fox news. It helps to keep the cadre around until the next appointment. Success in the corridors of power has an entirely different meaning.

How much does this "part time position" pay?

    • Posted By: SteveSOD @ 12/02/2007 4:38:44 PM

Hm, that comment was supposed to go to oldgringo, not you, Aurelius. Don't know why it ended up here. Sorry.

    • Posted By: SteveSOD @ 12/02/2007 4:36:21 PM

Hey. Dummy. While it takes 50% plus one to impeach in the House, it takes a 2/3 majority in the Senate to remove Bush or Dick from office, and that will NEVER happen. You will never get a single Republican to vote in favor of removing them from office, therefore it CAN'T be done. THINK. THINK. LEARN.

Whatever it takes to keep a guy quiet....I think it's called bribery.

This is what happens when you don't impeach. They keep coming back like rabid jackals ready to gnaw on the corpse of Lady Liberty, before she was covered up and hustled out to some dark cell in Gitmo. Why is Wolfowitz not in jail? What do you have to do to get held accountable in this country, oh ya be a minority and stage dog fights, thats an outrage, but lie this country into war that killed 1 million Iraqis, oh well who won dancing with the stars?

Wolfowitz may not worry about comments from Democrats, but he'll get them. The Bush administration is a joke from start to finish, and this appointment is merely the latest laugh on us.

      "Heck of a job, Wolfie"

  • Posted By: Chenille Spreads @ 12/02/2007 2:46:04 PM

This ranks up there with offering Karl Rove an editor position at Newsweek.

    • Posted By: easyreader @ 12/02/2007 3:19:46 PM

Wait a minute, Newsweek hired Karl Rove??? That would be funny if it were not such an abandonment of journalisitic principles. Rove is going around sayingCongress pushed Bush into Iraq. Even when contradicted by Fleischer, he sticks with the ridiculous story. Isn't thepoint of a newsmagazine to be ,oh I don't know, maybe a CREDIBLE sourceof information??
Maybe the MSM has a case of Stockhome syndrome-- they have begun toidentify with their kidnappers...

Since Wolfowitz is undoubtedly a hawk on Iran, this probably bodes ill for those in the Administration who are trying to stave off an attack. And bad news for the rest of us.

If we bomb Iran, it's been reported that they will retailate in numerous ways. Regardless of the consequences, there are still those in the Administration who believe that once invaded, the Iranians will overthrow their regime and greet us with flowers, just like they did in iraq. Oh, wait! It didn't quite turn out that way!
