The way our country is spinning out of control on the roof top of true uncertainties, I am ready to try something different within my life time as a human being not my children life time but mine???s; and if it???s a mistake. Then it???s a mistake I know I made and no one else, so I going to help try and put Obama in for president. And I hope as a people that we try and put a whole new Senate and House up on capital hill behind him, we need totally new people up there to get a fresh start; because we must understand that there is nothing wrong with starting all over again and we as the people are dead tired of this same old bull stuff that seem to never end. Its time for us to send a message not just to our country but to a world who thinks that we can be lead like cattle or sheep which ever comes first. Let just step outside of our comfort zone, even though that thought scare???s many people. But we must believe in something other then what we believe in, inside of the box. We got to believe in something out side of the box, because there is a whole world out there looking at us very closely. This must be a message that we must send to let our government officials know, that we want tolerate any more incompetence when it comes to our country and people.

In the begining of Obama's political life; even before he announced his campaign Oprah told the story of Obama and has been a supporter of him since the begining. and with hillary now back to slaming people i think we'll see what she truly is. And why bring race or sex in to the race " is America ready for a black president, is the U.S. ready for a women canidate" no were all human and it doesn't affect our inteligence based off what we are.

it's ashame that Oprah has never endorsed a political candidate in the past it the first time she does - she picks a black candidate. I believe that maybe she really believes in Obama but her true objective is to get black man in office for the first time and feeding her own ego as well. Let's stick with the book club and crying mom's Oprah.

I think both Barack Obama and Oprah Winfrey are good people. Oprah zeroed in on Barack's potential early on. I'm thrilled that she will stump for him. I just hope that this recent spate of Hillary flinging mud will not adversely affect Barack's campaign. Someone should tell Hillary that when you sling mud, yours is the hand that gets dirty.

I don't think that Hillary Clinton is really taking this Campeign seriously. She may sound encouraging and very organized--put together. But when you really sit down and try to think of why she is doing this...all I can really think of is for the attention and her wanting to be in the White House again.
Having her husband, Bill Clinton as former president has really made an impact on the decisions on us americans. I think that she wants to prove that the Clinton family can achieve what goals that they have. But right now we are dealing with war, immagration, same sex marriages, and most inportartingly...our soliders safety over in Iraq.

My oponion...she isn't ready to deal with that big of responsibility resting on her shoulders. We need straight up answers not mixed ones.

The biggest problems of the world today affecting blacks, a black American president is in my opinion what the world needs.

I am a young black male who is very shocked of some of things I hear and see. I am very disappointed with our black communities and so call role models. I cant believe that the black ministers are not supporting Obama. Obama can help heal our nation of the sterotypes and images that we have of blacks in this nation. Because we have always seen white Jesus, the White House, white presidents, white judges, white coaches, white quarterbacks, etc (get my Point) we then start believing that blacks are inferior and they are not smart enough to hold these positions. These black ministers who are hypocrites who stand onb these platforrms and preach and talk about how intelligent we are and how wonderful made we are dont even have enough faith to believe in our people. They preach one thing and do another. They only faith these black ministers have is that on their anniversaries they congregation is going to bless them with more money, houses and cars. I cant believe also how our black women are not supporting Obama. They have prayed for years and talked so much about they wish that we had positive role models in society. Now that we see Obama who projects such an image, they are hypocritical in their statements also. I am very shocked with our black community. Just this past week we had some young blacks to shoot and kill Sean Taylor a promising star in the NFl. These young blacks need to see that blacks are not all criminals. These statements about Obama are very very faithless from the black community saying that he is not ready or that he can not get elected because America is not ready for a black president. America was not also ready to give us voting and equal rights but because of a few brave men and women who had courage stood up against the evil of this world and made it happen. We need to change the images of how blacks are viewed in this nation. Obama does that. He is great even for white Americans. Even they have changed their image of blacks also. When Dungy (First black head coach) won a superbowl people started then believing that blacks are smart and intelligent. Their perspectives changed about us. Black America wake up and stop being hypocrites

Why did Obama feel as he had to meet one of the most popular repub. in a small coffee shop or resturant, and have a discussion, that to me is being two faced and so unfair to the demo's. that was supporting him, i say was because i was one of them .
If you can't run on your own, what good are you going to be in the white White House? He should run for sentor at leased one more time before running for Pres.

Bill and Hillary clinton did a lot for black folks and we are very grateful!!.That's called black loyalty. Its a free country, whether they vote for Hillary or Obama will be within the "family".So what is the big deal here, none. The natural thing is for Hillary and Obama to unify the democratic base not to spliter it.Hillary represents the best aspirations of American women(black and white). And Obama represents the aspirations of Americans(black and white) for "change" just as the the young Catholic Kennedy did in the 60s.Its a tough choice because they are America best democratic alternatives to another-mirror image of Bush!!!.
Hillary doesnot possesse "iron-lady" stuff Margret Thatcher was made of and that's why I believe the conservatives from Bush to Karl Rove want her to get the nomination!!. She carries a lot of excess baggage which outweighs the positive recollections of the first Clinton legacy. But being desparate doesnot mean to be blind and this is a reminder to both blacks and whites, women and men in the democratic camp.We want a winner and most Americans want a strong democratic candidate.Strong in defense like Truman and Kennedy and true to dmocratic ideals of justice, equal opportunity and compassion to our poor fellow Americans. This in no way should be construe as abonedment of free-market but rather closer to "compassionate conservatism" which got Bush elected but betrayed in Katrina(he was busy funneling billions to his Iraqi friends than taking care of his fellow Americans in the south( I always wonder why Americans loved the Arabs so much,why..Are they not the same terrorists killing Americans more than any nation on earth today!!)..Obama opposed the war in Iraq,Obama has risked his political credibility by saying what most Americans think, get Osama ben laden in Pakistan with or without Pakistanis approval if we are ever to win this war on terrorism. And that was the contract between Bush and the American people but Bush betrayed that for his cronies in blackwater, etc, etc.Where's Bush inspiring policy speech.......we shall persue them relentlessly whereever they maybe.........But he got stuck in Iraq and we know why!!!.Will Hillary do any better, nope. She is too good a person, never ever wanting to take extreme views unless everyone agrees. She has always been reconsiliator rather than the tree-shaker.And these Pakistanis need shaking up and only a true black man can give them that shaking which the white man Bush has miserably failed to do.Common, Pakistan has been involved in all the major terrorist attacks on the West. They are part if not the root-cause of modern Islamic terrorism.Do we reward them with billions or true to the cowboy tradition, we call their bluffs and stick into their Islamic asses!!!.

The Clinton's have a remarkable track record with black supporters...Many of those supporting Hillary now are because of her husband. Unfortunately, the black vote has never materialized to what these political theorists say it will. The bottom line: They don't vote in large numbers and are not 'collective enough' to make a difference in the election. They are not the "swing" voting block that the Democrats would like them to be nor will they ever be. This fantasy about "Getting out the vote," is a farce unfortunately.
