Ms. Gretel C Kovach... I loved your article! It is absolutely the best work of fiction I have read in a long time. Oh wait, you're a journalist (or at least you tried to portray yourself as one) and not a fiction writer. Well there goes that, huh? Call it what you want, NAFTA, CAFTA, and these other so called "free trade" deals. Are just deals that exploit the workers and line the profits of the wealthy, at the expense of the poor and middle class. And as for the NAFTA superhighway, mid continent trade corridor or whatever you want to call it, the truth is already out there. It's apparently not in Newsweak but, it's out there. We have the means and the ability to find out the truth on our own. I know it sucks when people don't take you at your word anymore. Remember, trust is earned and not given. I thought Newsweek could be trusted as a credible source of news, but I just read this article that the Nafta Super Highway and planned NAU are conspiracy theories! I'm absolutely amazed that Newsweek would allow such an unresearched article to be published. She probably doesn't even know that Mike Huckabee traveled to Mexico in 2003 to visit Vicente Fox or his setting up the Mexican consulate in Little Rock. She probably doesn't know Mitt Romney is not a regular Mormon but very high up in their church - about the equivalent of a Bishop, nor about the Mormon conspiracy to rule. I doubt if she has researched ANY of the candidates, but she decided to attack Ron Paul for speaking out about what is common knowledge? This was a waste of her time. America's sovereignty is a highly important issue and this author had better wake up. She is BLIND to what's going on apparently.
