Did you even try asking Ron Paul about this? Try to talk to the person you are reporting about, he would have given you sources, since you obviously can't find them yourself.

Try this site :http://www.infratrans.gov.ab.ca/2760.htm and tell me it doesn't say NAFTA superhighway on a Canadian province government website. Next time do all the research. Saying it's a conspiracy when there is proof of the super highway it in the work, by a government in Canada. I expect an apology next week, and an explanation why the reporting didn't mention plans that tons of people know about, which are now being shown to you. Maybe NAU is a stretch but this is obvious and deliberate plan for a NAFTA superhighway, not a strange mixture of fact and fiction.

This is absolutely absurd. I would expect more from professional journalist. There are hundreds of documents, legislation, and news reports (I point you to the Larry King interview of the former President of Mexico) made on the subject verifying its existance. The lack of research on the topic is outstounding. Im heading straight to the better business bureau and filling a report for lack of journalistic integrity. I will also be emailing businesses that run ad's in your magazine. The out right lies in this article is beyond reprehensible. I think I shall mail your editor first.

Ron Pau wants you to be scared? What's the title of this piece? "Highway to Hell"
Does this road not link Mexico to Canada? You go on to make the exact same points Ron Paul made in his answer. And it will be a toll road - tolls going to Cintra a company in Spain. Spain will own the highway - but don't worry about sovereignty. You might be banking on peoples ignorance?. Best to you Newspeak.

Who is the nut here? People are not so asleep, you might be banking on peoples ignorance in order to buy into this disinformation. Best to you Newspeak

Since the legislature has ceeded power to the administrative agencies under the executive branch, it has made it extremely easy for the rules and laws they promulgate, which are the true laws that guide our land, it is very easy for us to "harmonize" our laws with Mexico and Canada. Harmonizing the federal rules and laws and keeping them harmonized with among the three, at least amounts to a confederation of north america.

If the people want to harmonize the laws of our land with that of our neighbor, so be it. But give is a say. Letting the administrative agencies under the control of the executive branch do it unilaterally is WRONG.

This is a poor excuse of a hit piece. Do your research before you claim that such a thing "doesn't exist." The President of Mexico went on national television and admitted to plans for an Amero and to the highway. Calling one government official and creating a single straw man in Corsi is NOT research.
Your journalistic integrity has just fallen under the weight of your own arrogance.

Newsweek cbs nbc all of our main stream media is influenced by the cfr who basically have been cooking up the whole nau plan all along. Youll notice that nbcs latest attempt in Katie Courics meet the candidates they excluded Dr. Paul. I suppose in an attempt to make him look like he doesnt matter but what they did accomplish is to show what candidates are cfr members. So if youd like to know who not to vote on go to cbs

Newsweek is part of the "main stream media" and it is owned by the elitists who are part of the North American Union plan. Newsweek is trying to cover up the actual plan for such a Union by trying to discredit it. The American people are not stupid and they can read. To get more information on such a plan you can visit the government's website were they actually have it in plain view ... see www.spp.gov. Afterwords, you can visit www.stopspp.org website to get more information.

Hah! It's THIS article that's trying to stir up irrational fear of Ron Paul! How hypocritical. If you listened to Paul in the recent Florida GOP debate, then you know what's he's said about this "NAFTA conspiracy." (If you missed this debate, you can watch the clips on youtube.) His views are quite reasonable. He's not trying to scare people, he merely thinks that we should remain aware of what's going on in certain political circles and the implications these actions could have for the future of this country.

Nobody in their right mind gives a nut about some superhighway. We love Ron Paul for his ideas about the end of corporate democracy. Smear him as a nut all you want. We'll see you at the polls in February.

There are all sorts of things Newsweek could say to make Ron Paul unnatractive to voters. Why undermine your own agenda by espousing falsities? Shame on Newsweek.

Your reporters need to check facts before they smear people. http://www.infratrans.gov.ab.ca/2760.htm The government of Alberta, Canada labels it the "NAFTA Superhighway". Perhaps Alberta is in a conspiracy with Ron Paul to discredit Newsweek?

OMG! Newspeak has really showed how bought off they are as paid shill or (brain-dead as Bush) lazy reporters. Quite comical actually.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Br31mdP8-Ug Tell *** to explain this then if it isn't a fact. Appears the reporter is 'bought off' paid shill. Whatever!

What kind of a silly ,nutty, socialist rag are you printing and foisting on us? We wish to keep our sovereignty and to Hell with you complete nut cases! The North American Union is as obvious as the pimples on your faces. If you want a Union, move to Europe which now survives because of U.S. tourist trade. Beyond that, DROP DEAD!!!

Newsweek, you are disgusting, you should know by now that we do our research. The Jones Report has plenty of information and websites to refute your bogus claim. Maybe your "journalists" will take 5 minutes to peruse a few of these links to Government websites and videos. Go Here http://www.jonesreport.com/articles/061207_nafta_real.html
