How can one person, let alone a whole magazine ,be so blind to what is going on here? Simply put, your lack of research is astounding. Do your homework, be a reporter, investigate, because your dismissal of a NAFTA "superhighway" is unfortunately a very real issue this country is facing. I thought the point of your publication was to get out news about real issues facing our country, not putting down a man, a true American at that, trying to bring to light a very real issue that this country is facing. You don't have to look hard, or far, to see this issue is currently being fought today by true Americans. It's real and it's coming unless we do something about it. You do however have to go out of your way to not see it. Next time provide your readers with real information, all the information, not edited propaganda that suits your agenda. Kovach should be ashamed and Newsweek embarrassed by such poor journalism.

Not a single comment in your defence. The only Highway to Hell is the one "our" traitorous "leader" have put us on.Fake jornalists,Fake news,Fake money,Fake wars,Fake truth,Fake political parties,Fake leaders(the rabbit hole goes so much deeper). When the cattle wake up,and the sheep look up,then maybe there's a chance that STALIN can be stopped this time.If this mess isn't addressed in near future ELECTIONS,there may never be another chance...Don't taze me Bro!-PEACE TO US ALL

It is true. Just come to Colorado Springs and check the public record. "They" have filed an intent to claim eminent domain on a swath of properties in the county effectivly rendering them unsaleable by the land owners. "They" is private interests, not the government - therefore not subject to Constitutions. Just as the Private Credit of the non Federal Reserve became our so called 'money'. Give us PUBLIC MONEY and eliminated the IRS as a result!

Gretal, let's talk about "they". Remember a little thing called the WTO in 1994? The World Trade Organization was the nail in the U.S. sovereignty coffin pushed down America's throat by every living previous president from the Republican party and every living past and present president from the Democrat party. The head of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) came out of the closet and urgently hawked this must pass treaty to the public on the PBS network and other willing media outlets. The WTO, GATT, NAFTA, CAFTA, NAU, are all puzzle pieces when fit together reveal the picture of the grand globalist scheme, what President George Bush the first referred to as, the New World Order. While the American public is having the U.S. sovereignty carpet pulled out from under our feet by the political and corporate elite, we see a willing news media, owned by the corporate elite, spewing out drivel like this to malign those who are sounding the warning of America's imminent demise from within. No matter how many times the media attacks the messenger eventually, the truth will be known. It appears, Newscorp (Fox News) , Time, Magazine, CNN, General Electric (NBC), ABC News and your parent company, The Washington Post all have ties to the Council on Foreign Relations. And let's not forget, the CFR schemers, with the full support of the United States government gave us the United Nations to oversee this grand socialist conspiracy. Ron Paul is presenting us with the truth. Why aren't you?

It is true. Come to Colorado Springs and check the public records. "They" have publicly filed intent to claim Eminent Domain on certain parcels of land in the county effectively rendering them worthless for sale by the owners. "They" are already building it in Texas. "They" is not the 'government', but "They" is private enterprise - therefore not subject to Constitutional rules and regulations. Just as "Private Credit" of the Federal Reserve is not Government money....

Gretel Kovach must be the little dog in the kennel. They sent her to bark at the big dogs outside the fence.

    Poor thing!

Ms. Kovach would do herself a big favor by doing some rudimentary research before she goes of half-cocked and makes completely inacurate statements the Nort American Secure Corridor may not be named The NAFTA Superhighway, but it is, infact the same thing. Try going to their web site http://www.nascocorridor.com/ to see what they have accomplished in the last TEN YEARS that they have been working on this before you ridicule those who have been trying to prevent it's completion for the LAST TEN YEARS!

Newsweek wants you to be scared. Of Ron Paul. Of US Sovereignity. Of anyone who opposes global government.

Just go to www.TeaParty07.com and give a little more money to Dr. Paul so he can stick it to the msm. Dec. 16th, the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party, will hopefully be a day in which Ron Paul raises so much money that he can no longer be ignored. Over 22K have already pledged to give on that day. Come and join us.

What kind of a jokey newsrag is this? Kovach needs to wake up and vote for Lincoln.. Do not mistake her ignorance as fact that Ron Paul is paranoid. I have seen 2 other congressmen speak publicly about these very ideas, not to mention all of the state and federal bills that have introduced to stop NAU efforts. Just because those behind it won't talk about it and deny it, doesn't mean it isn't real. If it weren't real, the good politicians wouldn't be fighting it in congress and the state legislatures.

I am sure you have been inundated by now with objections to your mischaracterization of Dr. Paul's position on NAFTA. Once again, you send another shiver up my spine as you remind me that there appears to be nowhere in mainstream media where I can find sincere, unbiased and thoughtful question, comment or analysis. Thank you for listening. WCH

Instead of attacking -- RON PAUL -- one of the few men in American politics who's brave and honorable enough to tell like it is -- a competent, responsible reporter and their publication would sponsor a story suggestive of an investigation needed to impeach, arrest and imprison a treasonous President who cut a private deal with foreign agents to sell out both the country's infrastructure and sovereignty.

It's plain to see who and what -- NewsDoubleSpeakWeek -- represents. Newsweek appears more each day to be an integral part of the communist's covert smear network and obviously not loyal to the US Constitution or what's best for Americans. Apparently your employees are but characterless agents taking orders from those who seek to destroy the United States and rob its citizens.

Dear Newswreak: Please write more of these "revealing" articles -- and tell your friends to keep spinning away too. You can be sure Americans and the world are taking notes. Quite possibly in the not too distant future, your ineffectual communist rag together with your in-house flunkies will be banished from our shores forever.

+++++ VOTE RON PAUL +++ FIRST REAL PRESIDENT SINCE JOHN F. KENNEDY!!! +++ GO RON PAUL!!!

Gretel, you really should consider a new profession. Please, seek employment that will pay you honest money for an honest product; preferably a position that does not require research as you have proven you are incapable of even the basic fact finding. "Newsweek" has indeed become "News Weak". You will find my subscription canceled.

Something I asked my wife for for a Christmas gift was a year of Newsweek; Today I informed her not to get it for me, thankfully she didn't order it yet.

Is it too much to ask your writers to even wikipedia a topic before positing it, let alone actually do any real research.

The Gulf of Tonkin was a conspiracy theory, now it is a conspiracy fact. Pearl Harbor was a conspiracy theory, now it is a conspiracy fact. Iran seeking to make nuclear weapons is a conspiracy theory and Bush wants to take pre-emptive action just in case it might be a conspiracy fact. I believe the North American Union is a conspiracy theory and pre-emptive action should be taken just in case it might be a conspiracy fact.

Pathetic. The writer quotes Paul -- "The ultimate goal is not simply a superhighway, but an integrated North American Union???complete with a currency, a cross-national bureaucracy, and virtually borderless travel within the Union" -- and then writes "But it's not true." But the article offers nothing to back that up, other than the fact that a government agency and a bureaucrat says it's not. It's been awhile since I've read Newsweek; is this what passes for political reporting and analysis between its pages now?

As always, Newsweek is controlled communist media propaganda; more yellow journalism crap from the same group of traitors who also continue to cover up for the real 911 mass murderers right here in this country and in Israel. Soon Americans will awaken from their long comfortable slumber and realize their common enemy is not in some distant faraway Middle East land, but right here in the American based media monopoly. I hope I live to see the day all you criminals are jailed for your crimes.

GO RON PAUL - TRUTH LOVING AMERICANS WANT HIM FOR PRESIDENT!!!
