Oklahoma is staring down the barrel of the Trans - Texas Corridor. Go to www.ok-safe.org to see what
Congressman Sullivan, Senators Inhofe and Coburn, State Senator Randy Brogdon, Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett and the Oklahoma Legislature have to say about the subject of the NASCO SuperCorridor and NAU.

Following is a confidential memo obtained by OK-SAFE through Oklahoma's Open Records Act:

    Confidential ??? Tiffany Melvin; 214-744-1042

Well, we finally got the Savi / NASCO agreement finished! This is fantastic news, and thank you so much
to Rider Scott, George Blackwood and Jim Berfalk for all your work on this. You made the Board proud!!!

    The Highlights are as follows...

The Document establishes NASCO as a true partner of Savi as opposed to an agent for their
    business development.

The revenue sharing was agreed to and finalized and worked out much better than the original formula.
We are looking at about $6.00 per transaction as opposed to $0.25!

NASCO will receive access and use of the data for our future trade corridor management system.

The arrangement allows NASCO to build beyond the Savi Technology for our Trade Corridor Management
System, meaning we can add other technologies and components to the project and are not limited to
    only working with Savi.

And the timeline holds everyone???s feet to the fire, so we will be making phone calls and setting up
    meetings to get started ASAP!

Although this has taken a long time, we achieved everything we sought to achieve in this agreement.

Most importantly, this agreement meets assumptions and dependencies needed to move forward with
the NAFTRACS project under USDOT. We submitted the application on May 25th, and have not heard
anything back from USDOT, so I do not have any updates on the time frame of dealing with USDOT. I will
let you know as soon as I hear anything.

I will be providing frequent updates to each of you. Also, please feel free to call me any time for updates.
With just the three of us at the NASCO offices, we are very busy around here!! :) So many exciting
    projects!

This is a huge moment for NASCO. The culmination of 13 years of planning and preparing. This
partnership is the first step and foundation for our Trade Corridor Management System. We should all be
    very happy.

Please call me with any questions and if you would like more details on the agreement reached
    yesterday.

    Talk to you soon!

Commenter note: Savi is a partnership with Lockheed Martin and Hutchison Whampoa (Chinese Government)

Newsweek is has done a great disservise to itself and the Thruth.

We know your kind, we've seen your kind, we"ve dealt with your kind before. This kind of in-your-face truthless and ruthless [frontal attacks on Ron Paul] pretence for reporting doesn't hoodwink many folks these days. Ms. Kovach's ignorance is only exceeded by her arrogance and her error stance. Go ahead and parrot the Bush administration's talking points but the Liar in Chief has no credibility anymore. Neither does Kovach nor the magazine she writes for, Newsweek. For shame!

Newsweek isn't really a news magazine, never really was for that matter. Mostly spin, dis-information, and outright lies and propaganda, like this article for example. There IS a North American Union, a CFR, and a Trans Texas Corridor. I'll never buy another one of your rags.

I think Kovach has a valid point. That is if one were to ignore the government of Alberta's website which clearly shows the NAFTA Superway laid out from Texas to Canada (see http://www.infratrans.gov.ab.ca/INFTRA_Content/docType56/Production/pol306.htm) Oh well, I guess you win some, and you lose some.

Just another ???Conspiracy theory???? Heck no, let???s looks at the meaning of theory, a set of circumstances or principles that is hypothetical. Well on CNN the talk was ???there isn???t a highway?????? and anybody who thinks there is crazy, see it on youtube! Yep old Ron Paul is crazy is what I understood being portrayed. So as a dumb American I though I???d check this out. Well I found out its true and the news team at CNN isn???t as smart as Paul, or they were and didn???t want us to know about this highway yet. Why would I say that? I found out the land will be taken from Americans and given to a ???Foreign Investor??? who will build a supper highway and charge a toll to everybody who uses it and they determine who can use it. Sounds fair? Ok but my question is why should we give US soil to a foreign investor and not an American?
As far as ???they??? go, remember who is telling the story, Ron Paul. He is and always has been an honest and straight shooter not a mudslinger, do you think he would tell you the old mayor of New York did the legal work on this and in turn got the 70 mil. to fund his campaign? Heck no but if anyone with a half a brain started to use the net they could find out the truth! But getting back to the Highway to Hell, I didn???t know it went through Hell Minnesota, that???s news to me. I???ll have to research this a little more, maybe that???s the conspiracy Newsweek is talking about. Oh does the owner of Newsweek own CNN or is that also a conspiracy? Help me out here???JOIN THE REVOLUTION, teaparty07 .com

This is one of the most discusting articles I have read in a long time. I can't figure out if the author is guilty of ignorance or a victim off brainwash. If you care enough to investigate you will find that this is a real issue facing our country. The editor and author owe a huge explanation for publishing this trash and passing it on to us as news. I will never read Newsweek again.

I guess Newsweek sold out long ago to the powerful interests in this country, some of which advertise with them. The NAU is cause for concern. Just wait till proud, gun-toting, ranch-owning Texans start blasting
away at powerful interests which will use the new take on eminent domain to try and steal their land. Bill O'Reilly, et. al. will have a field day reporting the carnage that will make the Branch Davidian affair look like
    child's play!

"Only it's not true." Mr. Kovach then why is the NAFTA Superhighway shown on CANADIAN GOVERNMENT'S own web site: http://www.infratrans.gov.ab.ca/INFTRA_Content/docType56/Production/pol306.htm

I am appalled your pathetic excuse for an article. You liar! Treasonous scum!

Every week I anxiously await my Newsweek to come in the mail, hoping and praying that you will have interviewed Ron Paul for a story and graced your cover with his picture. Instead of Paul (is he too honest for you?) we get week after week of liars and cheaters (ie: Clinton, Guiliani, Romney, Obama, McCain, etc.. they're all the same)
Today I see Highway to Hell? and think to myself, "YAY they are finally covering Dr. Paul!" But then I read the article (by Gretel C. Kovach) and realize that newsweek has joined in with the rest of the biased media to try and make Paul look foolish.
Kovach should do her homework, she calls Paul a "prickly libertarian". Dr. Paul is actually a 10-term republican congressman from Texas. (not sure why she said prickly.......she thinks he's a cactus?)
I'm beginning to think these irresponsible reporters are writing this garbage just to get attention (and web hits) and I'm sure Kovach knows all too well how that CNN/YouTube Debate was a joke to begin with. There's NO excuse for not contacting Dr. Paul for an interview before printing a article like "Highway."
Please Newsweek have some self-respect and respect for your readers and give Dr. Paul a fair and unbiased interview for your magazine. He has so much more to offer the U.S.A. then ANY of the other candidates (republican or democrate) but you have to LISTEN to what he says. People are always cutting him off, putting words in his mouth, and taking what he says out of context. Show some respect... this man has done more for our country then I'm sure you (Kovach) ever will. So please Newsweek, step up and do the right thing! http:www.ronpaul2008.com in case you didn't know.

Gretel C. Kovach is nothing but a government mouthpiece!!! Wait next she will be telling us that the european union doesnt exist either!!! Nor does the Euro!! if she wants to find out who "they" are all she has to do is google names like David Rockefeller, Council on Foreign Relations, Rothschild Banking Dynasty, The Bilderberg Group, the trilateral commission......

  • Posted By: Nicolas61 @ 12/04/2007 5:42:53 PM

Gretel C. Kovach is nothing but a government mouthpiece. You need to pull your head out of the sand, what are you gonna deny that the European union doesnt exist either. You are a yellow journalist. Factions like the World Trade Organization were created to undermine national security. If you want to know who is responsible google David Rockefeller, The Council on Foreign Relations, The Bilderberg Group who claimed that their objective is to form a one world government. Starting with the European Union. Humanity wont stand for Ms. Kovach's BS. or anyone elses either, ....we are not their slaves. We are not their property, and we will remember who was on what side of the fence when it comes time hold those accountable for these crimes against humanity are finally uncovered and the truth is revealed.

Someone should really tell the uninformed Canadian government that Gretel Kovach says the NAFTA superhighway is just a "good conspiracy"! http://www.infratrans.gov.ab.ca/INFTRA_Content/docType56/Production/pol306.htm
