Wow! Gretel, it looks like you were bought by one group and "owned" by another... LOL!

Yes, I guess Ron Paul is a nut case. Just as nutty as Washington, Jefferson and Madison. You know, those kooks who thought they could create this wonderful society through individual liberty and limited government. Where did they ever get a crazy idea like that? Just because that crazy idea worked is no reason to bring it back now. Well, here's another crazy idea: Ron Paul is the LAST hope for America. I believe it's God's way of saying, "I'll give you one last chance to save your country." If we blow this opportunity, I don't think we'll get another one. I don't think we deserve it. I sometimes wonder if we deserve this one.

Gretel, Gretel, Gretel, Oh come now. Is this "hit Piece" on the Paul campaign really necessary? It's too bad that Newsweek and other purported ???Investigative reporters??? are busy reporting on what Britney and the other idiots in the limelight are doing as opposed to doing your journalistic duty and reporting on the facts in a bipartisan manner. Here???s a little advise, Go to the Council on Foreign Relations Website ( I???ll save you the time http://www.cfr.org/) In the box marked "Search" put in ???North American Union" and click on the third link which will take you to this site: http://www.cfr.org/publication/8138/building_a_north_american_community.html

Finally, are ready for this... READ.. There is an entire dossier on their ???proposed??? plan. There you have it. Actual Research completed. Try to make sure you put your filters on and then report on those little things called facts. You???ll be enlighten and the ???truth will set you free.???

Good luck to you and all your future endeavors.

I love an article that purports conspiracy and then spell out all aspects of the conspiracy as fact. This is that strange type of idiot's double talk that I think George Bush invented. I wonder if she had a hard time researching for the article living in Egypt.

What's totally amazing to me is reading the ???Myth verses Fact??? on the SPP website, which is a total bold face list of lies. Newsweek, SPP -- you give little credit to the intelligence of the American people. The folks who wrote this article should be professionally embarrassed. Publishing articles like this just makes the dark side of these entities even more known, and enforces the truth even more ??? the North American Union is REAL, and publishing a rebuttal instead of ignoring the indifference just makes it all the more real (you???d think they???d be smarter than that?) I'm not sure how the staff can live with themselves for being a part of an organization that publishes such BS.

It's extremely disappointing that Newsweek chose to publish this article without a thorough review of the facts. I too gave up my Newsweek subscription years ago and this hatchet job on Ron Paul is confirmation nothing has changed. As a nation, we'd better wake up to the very real threats to our sovereignty from within our borders (and big media disinformation from sources like Newsweek is high on the list !).

Besides the CNN clip on Youtube, the NAU and Amero was discussed on a Canadian financial news show. Youtube. Search Canada Amero NAU CNBC. One clip is about the "Illuminati". The other is a sober news segment with a nationally-known financial investor, Steve Previs of Jeffries.

    • Posted By: detroit @ 12/10/2007 7:52:17 AM

Having offered a clear confirmation about the NAU, I must say I am *NOT* a Ron Paul supporter. Why? Look up Mont Pelerin Institute, his heroes. Look up Friedrich Hayek and Pinochet, another R.P. hero. Hayek believed the Pinochet bloody coup/dictatorship was a GOOD thing, because it led to "free markets", i.e. Chile's middle class was looted by corporate investors and the IMF, while blood of dissidents ran though the streets outside the stadium.

That's freedom? Ironically, it was Hayek's associate in Chile, Milton Friedman, who said that the only way a pure free market can exist is in a police state, to quell the inevitable riots.

For that matter, ck out an eye-opening article called William Volker - What an A**hole. Fill in the missing letters, Vanna. It's quite a read. I'm not a fan of the Frying Pan *OR* the Fire.

Wow! Newsweek really stuck its head in the hornets' nest on this one! While I'm a Kucinich supporter, I recognize that Ron Paul is the only other candidate offering genuine change from either side. If Kucinich is not the Democrat's nominee, I will probably vote for Paul if he's the Republican nominee.

Wow! Newsweek really stuck their heads in the hornet's nest on this one. I consider myself an Independent who leans left on most issues. I support Dennis Kucinich because he is one of only two candidates who offers genuine change. The other is Ron Paul, and if Kucinich is not the Democrat's candidate, I'll be voting for Paul if he is the Republican candidate. This story is just one example where the media has stopped reporting the news and is, instead, forcing its own agenda regardless of the truth.

How can you say that this is a mith and made up when CNN has reported it several times there are videos of them reporting it now you say it's not true in an effort to discredit the one man who is honest and not a warmonger that in my opinion is very unbalanced reporting not to mention you obviously dont keep up with the news want proof go to this link as seen on tv : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gTShloR6u6A

  • Posted By: Paul42008 @ 12/10/2007 3:02:42 AM

funny...you say it does not exist....yet you have reported on it several times there are videos on google of you reporting on it so how can you now say its not true if YOU yourself reported it

As a staunch IND voter I'm not into the whole Ron Paul thing, but even as just an average Calif dude who reads news on the net... even I can tell this article is silly at best.. theres plenty of factual information out there to blow huge holes in this article. Apparently nobody at Newsweek watches Larry King or knows of the magic of youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYGrn0hZlCQ

Newsweek is just another mouthpiece for the Council on Foreign Relations. It has no credibility as a news source. The American people have been lied to by our politicians and their lap dogs in mainstream media for decades, but it's only recently that the lies have become so obvious.

To deny the existence of the propsed North American Union and the NAFTA Superhighway in light of the overwhelming evidence is an insult. Anyone with access to the Internet can go to the Transportation and Infrastructure page of the Alberta, Canada website and see the map with the NAFTA Superhighway plainly marked.

Ron Paul represents a very great threat to the CFR members who's corporations are raking in billions of dollars in the undeclared wars around the globe. While American servicemen die and lose limbs, CFR affiliated corporations make big money.

Oh, yeah I almost forgot. I'll never, ever buy a copy of Newsweek again. Newsweek has been added to my boycott list along with Faux News and CNN. Congrats Newsweek, you beat out Fox for the slimiest NeoCon rag ever. You suck.

  • Posted By: nodope0695 @ 12/09/2007 11:06:18 PM

My friends, what you have just read, and I'm not afraid to say this...what you have just read is pure bull ***. This is NeoCon smear tactics at it worst. First of all, everything Ron Paul said at the debate is verifiable and true...just search google. Don't be swayed by this mindless drivel. The authors are NeoCon whores.

Just one step closer to the frenzy of gun seizures and confiscation...
    A Police State...Martial Law...as usual,MSM is doing their part

Ron Paul is the last honest man in position for the White House.
I'd prefer to die on my feet than serving the neo-cons on my knees.

I've been a secondary school administrator and teacher for 15 years and got sick of the brainwashing and
lies in the textbooks. I'm now a member of the AFL-CIO TCU with Union Pacific Railroad for the last 19 years
and have been following Dr. Ron Pauls career. Every Monday he records a two minute talk 888-322-1414
that anyone can listen to for free. To paraphrase a founding father: Give me Ron Paul , or give me DEATH!
The only reason I even looked at this Newsweek artical was because they mentioned Ron Paul. It merely
confirmed my previous observation that Newsweek is part of the problem and does not merit even a casual
reading--a TOTAL waste of my time!!

Jon Meecham, Newsweek Editor, is a Council on Foreign Relations member ??? here is the list

    http://www.biblebelievers.org.au/cfrall1.htm

so are many others on the editorial staff, as well as owners.
Of course, they hate Ron Paul ??? he is going to expose their agenda.
