Is it just me or or did America become the most defenseless and weak nation in the world that we have to jump the gun and attack first? It seems to me that with the defensive weaponry and superior technology that our country has I find it hard to believe that even if any of the middle eastern nations at question were to acquire nuclear weapons that the chances of one of them even making it to U.S. soil is utterly remote at best. The only thing our preempted attacks on other nations, that so far have only appeared to be a danger to us, has done is disrupted our allegiance with the rest of the world. Here we sit now and listen to people praise Bush for making the U.S. a safer country when we are hated by more people now than ever for the actions he and his administration have taken in the past and the now present on these so called threats to society which now has put us in danger with all corners of the world. Some may say well what about 9-11, thats a reason to attack these other nations because that may happen again. Well sorry to say, but when it comes to terrorists attacking a nation and a nation attacking another nation there is no comparison. You are talking about two highly different scenarios. A dangerous nations probablitiy of launching a full or even small scale 'secret' nuclear war on the U.S. without the U.S. knowing it is coming, like a group of terrorists would do if they even had access to nukes, and not being able to defend itself against their attack and counterattack them to the point of extinction is about the same as the threat of saddam hussien coming back from the dead and conquering the U.S. with his so called weapons of mass destruction. I think it would be better for us to let them go ahead and develope their nukes if they dare and see what happens when they decide to try and use them against us or any other nation. I have a feeling that if we had a full allegiance with the rest of the world, unlike the divided allegiance now, that they would not stand much of a chance. If the president really really just wants to get rid of their leader why not just do it the old fashion way and send a single unit with a good sniper or two in there to do the job instead of an entire army and make better use of our army by using them to find more credible threats like terrorists who pose an actual threat to our nations security. Another note also, the whole Godly comments thing should never be brought up with this except to mourn the dead from all of this and pray for the safety of our troops and the safety of our world and our people as a human race. There is no Godly when it comes to war and the power struggle over who is wrong and who is right, because none of it is right or Godly...plain and simple.

Sure - no war with Iran. Iran isn't building a bomb. Iran is just refining the nuclear material and selling it to whomever would build a bomb. What those dummies are dis-regarding is that the first such bomb that can be traced to Iranian nuclear cores will result in the destruction of not only Iran and the country using the bomb but some city in Israel and some city in the U.S. and some two or three countries in the Muslim world.

WITHOUT RUSSIA IRAN WOULD HAVE NOTHING. Why can't the pubic see that the real threat are the break-away republics of Russia(most notably the 5 Muslim States in Central Asia and the Ukraine)crime families in Eastern Europe and the technological advancement of China. Iran, Pakistan, India, all countries in Africa have no means of deploying a successful nuclear attack. Let's take care of the nuclear, chemical and biological weapons that already exist not on those that do NOT EXIST. Once a new regime takes form they have to seperate church and state in a moderate fashion. We have to do this right, we cannot afford to go into Iran blind we have to do it intelligently through conduits of success. The fact are THAT RUSSIA AND CHINA ARE THE KEYS TO KEEPING THAT SIDE OF THE WORLD TAME. AfriCA is an enigma in that it there is not solution to there problems; I guess the global community is just hoping more die than live in Africa; and that the 1st world can continue their research projects.
