I just love the way reporters ask questions, it makes me laugh. Ron Paul gives straight forward answers that make sense to a person with average intelligence, and the reporter just can't "get it". Now that is funny to me. I think the problem is these reporters are expecting phoney sale pitch responses from Ron Paul like some of the other candidates. Ron Paul tells them the truth on the issues, and they aren't use to the truth. Ron Paul makes sense to the regular tax paying, patriotic, freedom loving citizen. I guess corporate America, big government lovers, and the media have been laying in their mud for so long they forgot about the truth, along with "We The People" and our Constitution. I think a lot of the media and corporate America are afraid of change, and reducing the size of our government, but Ron Paul is not afraid to change and cut spending in Washington when he is elected. I strongly believe that is what scares these people the most, but remember folks they are NOT the majority, we the the average American citizens are, and we can make a difference with our votes. Ron Paul is the only true conservative who is willing to make the changes necessary in Washington.
Ron Paul has my vote and support.

As the figureheads of corporate, or non-corporate, media sends its finest spin doctors against Ron Paul, they don't seem to be able to falsify his arguments. Does anyone remember Jon Stewart on Crossfire?

Fineman does try to trap Ron Paul with a couple of weak-inductive inferences, but the coverage is what matters.

Thank you for interviewing Dr. Paul. I pray he wins! www.ronpaul2008.com. The first presidential candidate in history to have a blimp www.ronpaulblimp.com.

When mainstream media hear Ron Paul's ideas, their reaction is like that of many Russians when the Soviet Union fell: "How will they know how much bread to bake if the government doesn't tell them?!" That's just having an unimaginative mindset. I am reminded of a quote of Thomas Paine, who wrote, "A long habit of not thinking a thing wrong gives it the superficial appearance of being right." The income tax is wrong. Fiat money is wrong. Pre-emptive war is wrong. It is time for sensible changes. It is time for Ron Paul.

Ron Paul is pro-choice stte-by-state. THIS ALONE DISQUALIFIES HIM from being considered as a good candidate to hold the office of president or even the office of dog catcher.

Your obvioulsy no Princess, and we wont be visiting your myspace site anytime soon. If you don't agree with the Constitution than maybe America is the wrong country for you. Maybe you should read your Bible a little closer too, Jesus preached to bring people to him by Faith not Force. People are to be able to make their own minds up, but then have to live with and face the consequences thereof. This is not for the rest of us to decide, but for him upon judgement day. W are all sinners in the Christian Faith, and as Jesus said who's sin is greater than the others? This falls under States rights and not the jurisdiction of the Federal Government, and thus should not be funded as such.

This was a good interview. Lots of tough questions and good, honest answers. Fineman is smug; it has nothing to do with Dr. Paul. It would be nice to have the other candidates answer these same questions.

Haha! Howard Fineman makes Ron Paul look like a gem! I love the facial expressions.

God damn it, I haven't seen a more shill, stuck-up interviewer than the pro-Israeli Howard Fineman. Just looking at his smirks, half smile, and "Uh huh sure, you're running for president?" look just made this interview that much harder to watch.

Ron Paul however to his credit stuck to his principles and answered like a gentleman...and a opportunistic politician flying with the punditocracy and shifting winds. Well done!

I am pleased that Newsweek has caught the buzz and invited Dr. Paul to an interview. Stale organizations
like Newsweek have never seen the likes of Dr. Paul and it takes a little while for them to wake up. Seeing
Intelligence for the first time is very invigorating..there is a huge difference between intellect and Intelligence.
Most people, like Fineman, are steeped in intellect missing true Intelligence which is what this country was founded on. Thank you Dr. Paul for standing up. CTB

Ron Paul is pro-choice state-by-state claiming that individual states have the leeway to legalize the iolent murder of innocent and defenseless babies. THAT ALONE DISQUALIFIES HIM from being considered as president.

It amazes me how Ron Paul, always telling the truth, can come off looking good answering the toughest of questions.

  • Posted By: psujim85 @ 12/07/2007 6:31:09 PM

Very telling interview - try to incite some kind of inflammatory statement when you do not get one to begin with. Ron Paul is honest - he tells you what the constitution allows us to do. On tax payment - its the current law, and its not a good one, so he sympathizes with those who rebel, but does not condone breaking the law. On guns, we have a right to defend ourselves. Local governments can decide what is offensive and should not be dealt with as an all or nothing question. On Israel, Should they exist - they do so it is a stupid question. Ron wants peace,, and points out that history tells us that UN forced decisions cause problems, On religion - he is disappointed it even comes up (Fineman wants to say he criticized Romney and Hucakbee) He simply said it should not be part of either candidate's required discussion. Get it straight - the big money corporate swindlers are afraid of Ron Paul and are ramping up the smear campaign - watch and see!

Fineman says, "got it" at the end of the first segment. But, he only "got" that the answer was over from Dr. Paul. He really doesn't get it. And I would bet he'll never "get it". We the People, out in the sticks, in over flight country, gets what Dr. Paul is saying.

Ron Paul just continues to impress with his straight-forward comments. Even given the chance to rail on his rivals he doesn't. A man of integrity. Ron Paul Tea Party on the 16th.
