Fineman says, "got it" at the end of the first segment. But, he only "got" that the answer was over from Dr. Paul. He really doesn't get it. And I would bet he'll never "get it". We the People, out in the sticks, in over flight country, gets what Dr. Paul is saying.

Too bad this Fineman is about 1/1000th as intelligent as Feynman was.

I agree, I am really disappointed in how Fineman and the editors are making Ron Paul look. This is the exact reason why I am going to vote for Ron Paul, the big companies are scared of him so they try their best to make him look bad. Newsweek, I am really saddened by how either you let this video take this kind of turn throughout, or you were the reason behind it. I am still voting Ron Paul.

I couldn't even finish the video. This biased interviewer has his mind made up (by MSM dictates) before asking the questions. He hasn't swayed my vote. Go Ron Paul!

Mr. Fineman, you couldn't have shown your true colors of a Globalist more clearly. You tried everything you could to trap Ron Paul with your rhetoric, but he stood his ground and showed you up in every step of the way. Hopefully he opened you rmind a bit, but I doubt that was possible as you seem to have had an apparent agenda from the very beginning. I do thank you for the interveiw though, as it will allow people that might not have the chance to hear him speak so frankly on these issues otherwise. One thing however that Ron Paul mentioned on the IRS in his PBS interview, was that if the personal income tax was eliminated it would only set us back to about the year 2000 spending levels. He stated if we cut the expenditures of the war in Iraq/Afghanistan it would not be too hard to accomplish doing that.

It would be nice if the interview wasn't falsely editing to make Ron Paul look stumped by the questions. Real nice integrity Newsweek. I guess you're just scared of his fresh ideas and what they might to do your profits.

Does Howard Fineman come off as a major *** in this to anyone else ?

Fineman conveys a lethargic attitude throughout. He conducts the interview as if he's talking with a person of lesser intelligence, it's rather disrespectful. The funny thing is it's really a case of the person being interviewed as having more knowledge of the question than the interviewer; for example, Howard presses on about Israel and how we should assist them, but the crux of a libertarian philosophy is that his question is irrelevant. I don't expect every journalist to agree with me or Dr. Paul, but respect should be given to any interviewee as a sign of professionalism. Aside from the actual interview I found the commercial ads annoying in their frequency. 2 minutes of video, commercial, 2 min, commercial, very annoying.

    Mr. Fineman,
Thank you for interviewing Ron Paul. I wish you wouldn't talk down at him, because the logic behind his views are sound; just because he does not share the ethos that you have helped the mainstream media to create does not make his views any less valid. Further, your summary of his views on Mitt Romney is somewhere between inaccurate and dishonest. He is never critical of Romney in the interview; he merely states how sad it is that our country requires of Romney that he justify his faith. faiklsjffaithfaith.dddddddddddddddpeople who watch

Why does Fineman claim that Paul is critical of Romney? Paul defends Romney if anything, simply commenting that it is sad that he has to give a speech to America about his religion.

    Dear Mr. Fineman,
Thank you for this very helpful interview. I am a Ron Paul supporter and it pleases me very much to see interviewers like yourself talk to Dr. Paul about the issues that matter instead of questions like "are you going 3rd party". I felt you asked thoughtful questions and as you now know (if you didn't already), Dr. Paul can handle the tough ones too.

Keep up the good work, I'll be tuning back tomorrow for your follow-up interview.

    Cheers,
    -dbf
