I like that quote. Unfortunately, some people know we have a big stick, but do not respect it. So sometimes you have to use it, if not they will continue with their madness. Iran is just a little part of a much larger problem. China's technological advancement and Russia's volatile break-away republics pose a serious threat to America. I am not trying demonize these people, I am just stating the facts. WE HAVE TO OBSERVE POTENTIAL THREATS AND keep them in check. We need a President who can successfully manage these relationships so we do not have to annihilate anyone. However, some people have to learn the hard way and force is the only thing that will keep them in check. Bin Laden is in check, now it is just a matter of finding him. By brut force we were able to scare Bin Laden and the Taliban organization. People are scared to have anything to do with that organization because they know the result, BARBEQUE.

Yeah! Iran gave up nuclear weapons in 2003!!! Now, if we can only remember what year it was that we invaded Iraq, and then maybe ask ourselves, "why did iran give up nuclear weapons?"

The whole frame of these comments is insane. "Which country should we destroy next, before they can try to destroy us?" This is the attitude of a violent paranoid madman, not a rational being. Our country has the largest military force in the world, bases in over 100 other countries, and yet we are afraid, always afraid. But, since people with some sense like defense seratery Gates persuaded the boss that taking on Iran while still bogged down in Iraq and Afganistan would be an unmitigated disaster, they needed a face saving way out of not attacking Iran. The attempt to demonize Russians, Ukrainians, and other people of the Former Soviet Union comes from the same countries, organizations, and people who want us to bomb Iran -- namely Israel and its suppoters -- regardless of whether or not Iran has nuclear weapons or the ability to produce them. Without these elements this fabricated "crisis" (not to mention the very real one which we have wholly produced in Iraq) would not exist in the first place. These are the trajic facts that, to most Americans, remain obscured. To discover them we will need to make war with another one or more of Israel's -- ahem, excuse me, "our" enemies.

Iran, Pakistan, India, all countries in Africa have no means of deploying a successful nuclear attack. Let's take care of the nuclear, chemical and biological weapons that already exist not on those that do NOT EXIST. We have to do this right, we cannot afford to go into Iran blind we have to do it intelligently through conduits of success.
