Comment: Yes, I agree that one of these day we will stop aguring about which religion is right. When Christ come back and take His people. To say we are like the rest of the animals is just wrong. In science it's say matter can not be created or be destroy. How can a single cell come about? How can planet be form without matters? There must be a creator to get things going. To say we are form from lower life seem like we don't have a purpose in life. Darwin didn't even believe his own theory, why did he change his mind? He changed his mind because he realize the his theory was wrong and there are very few evidents to prove it. Even to this day there are very few evidents to prove Darwin theory. Comment: One of these days people on this earth will stop fighting and arguing over who is "chosen" and which religion is the right one etc. This is the only way we might have peace at some point. We have all, along with the rest of the animals, evolved from "lower" life forms and will continue to evolve. Evolution has created one big family. Religion and cultures have created division. This is the simple truth. One of these days someone who has a great deal of influence will stand up and say that it is time to take a step back and realize with over 1 thousand religions on this earth there is something wrong. We need to unify as an intelligent species and not divide over myths created thousands of years ago when people didn't have a clue where they or the earth came from. Ignorance is killing us!!!
Comment: When a person is really close to God it is amazing what is revealed to them-God's truth. A person comes to know what is seen and unseen. It goes as far as contemplating the face of Christ in the ordinary, or not so ordinary person we see in passing by. With God all things are possible. When a person has faith, a person realizes this because all the coincidences on earth are far beyond the meaning of the word. We have heaven right here on earth. Maybe it does not get "tapped" into enough. Blessed be the name of Jesus and peace to all people.
Comment: Angels cannot be seen today because they are not being sent. They were ministers to Gods chosen people Israel. After God sent Paul to the world as his messenger for today, angels were not needed. You people have Gods word in the bible so anything an angel would say would be superfluous. If you are scriptural but not dispensational you will always be confused. Salvation is by faith alone through grace alone through Christ Jesus' death on the cross.
Comment: While I agree that God has many human messengers, if you read all that the Bible has to say on the subject of angels, you will understand that they are a totally different order of beings, who have the capacity to sometimes appear in human form. This is up to God, whom they faithfully serve to appoint to them how amd when and to whom they are to appear. We as humans have romanticized angels into beautiful, feminine creatures,because the idea of "angels who excel in strength" is threatening to our notion of human superiority. However, in Biblical literature, and also in most instances when modern angel interactions with man have actually taken place, angels usually appear as men if they are going to appear as humans. Does this cause me to enjoy the beauty of our limited perceptions of angels any less? No, it does not. But understanding these things gives me a more balanced picture of who and what angels really are, and that is as valuable as any other accurate understand of God and other heavenly beings.

Comment: A very interesting article. The reasoning is very sound, from both the historical and logical perspective. Where would we be without the angels among us? I would like to make one correction to this article and that is a very minor point, but in the fillm "It's a Wonderful Life", George Bailey never went to war, it was his brother that was the war hero. George was rich not in his heroism, but in the fact that he helped so many out of his generosity at home, and how those in return helped George in his hour of need and made him realize that his life is purposful ,rewarding, and worth living.

Comment: Great article! I think people need to take this message to heart as you are acting as angel for writing and publishing it. I am baffled by those who think this article in any way "downplays" the power and glory of God. As it stated, most earth angels are not even aware of the role they are fulfilling... that is one sure way to tell the message is truly from God. As for "heavenly" angels, including Lucifer, remember that these entities have no physical form as they exist in the spiritual realm, so it is erroneous to portray them in any "physical" manner, such as feathered, or playing harps, as you also stated. You are definitely on to something with this article... it's all about your perception of reality... remember Jesus said, "the kingdom of heaven is in you"... as are the host of angels. Comment: i agree with the post below your trying to do what man always does which is bring things to our level or elvate mans role in the scheme of existence , i do believe God uses everday people as you put it but i also believe their are heavenly angels just as described below , We know satan was a high angel and got jelous and fell with other angels i dont think he looks like me and you , second what about the heavnly host that appeared to the shepards in the fields ordinary people i think not the Bible mentions many times of people comwering in fear of angels and the angel havinng to say do not fear , ordinary people i think not ,and i would be careful how you downplay Gods creation the Bible says we will be held accountable for every idle word

Comment: I have many friends who are wonderful people and are angels in that sence. However, why the effort to downplay the existence of heavenly angels and their holy callings from God? The God who created us and everything around us can certainly send angels from heaven to carry out His eternal purposes. The angels dressed in shiny clothing when Christ ascended to heaven don't sound like everyday, normal people - do they. Let's hold God and everything about Him on a pedestal - don't downplay it.

Why are you so angry? Is there really any problem with anyone even sane, intelligent adults having hope? I am not a religious zealot by any means, but I do enjoy hoping for a few weeks of the year there is magic and that people are inherently good.

I am a pagan, who believes in angels (mine gets over-time pay for looking after me - and by the way, her name is Elizabeth) I believe that Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny do, in fact, exist - in our hearts and minds, along with all of the other magical and wonderful creations that so enriched our childhoods.
