WHERE in the article does the candidate who values and respects our countries beginnings, believes in separation of church and state (who just so happens to be a Christian), and is not preaching the same old same old we hear EVERY four years. Oh that's right, the media empire is censoring him.

    Find out why........?????

This country will never get any better when Christians vote only for those with a "deep faith in Jesus Christ." Don't you people realize that God has nothing to do with how our country should be run. Conservative Christians are just as much a threat to this country as terrorists, with your narrow minded radical views.

Huckabee will work his charm and continue to roll. He is more Reaganesque than Reagan. Sincerely, TrueHawk

Huckabee is just another damn biggot, and trying to make himself hollier than anyone else because he knows some Bible verses makes me puke.

Are we getting a little hostile? I will make sure I don't vote for whoever you are voting for. You want to use foul language and call people names because they don't agree with your view? Thats the way to win people over.

Disciple: Don't worry t The dems are a tad testy tonite. Welfare checks late again?

Huckabee will get slaughtered in a general election, and if he doesn't then election process is fixed. America does not want 4 more years of the status quo ignorance. No more presidents that ignore science and do not believe in evolution, global warming, or the existence pre-marital sex. Back to the pulpit Mr. Huckabee, no Whitehouse for you.

According to the poll data used in this story, Ron Paul passed John McCain with 8% support among likely Republican Caucus goers. So Ron Paul is surging and this story is apparently propoganda to exclude Paul. Shame on Newsweek.

Here are the actual results of this poll:

    Huckabee: 39%
    Romney: 17%
    Thompson: 10%
    Giuliani: 9%
    Ron Paul 8%.
    McCain: 6%

Why is Newsweek censoring one candidate? The same candidate they smeared in their Dec. 10th print issue? The same candidate who received only two ridiculously irrelevant questions at the Clinton News Network debate vs. 15 for Mitt and Rudy?

I'm a Christian, I have been all of my life, but I am not a fundamentalist and I am getting tired of Fundamentalists trying to shove they form of Christianity down my throat. Besides, these Fundamentalists seem to be a little bit hypocritical in how they treat Romney.

    • Posted By: Disciple @ 12/07/2007 9:52:00 PM

Christian conservatives attract to Mike Huckabee simply because they have the same world view. It has nothing to do with being hypocritical or religious bigotry. People have many reasons why that like one candidate over another. If you dont agree thats your right and your freedom to do so. Why do those who dont agree with your view have to be some derogatory name? There is no such thing as a fundamentalist Christian. You either believe or you don't.. You either follow Jesus or you don't. You are either with Jesus or you are not. Those are his rules not Mike Huckabee's.

Wow! did anyone hear what Romney had to say about religion in America!? He definitely has my vote. I am not a very religous person but he was amazing. God plays a big role in his life and he doesn't flaunt that fact. He was very poignant and sincere. I have never seen a politician like this in my life. This man has extreme integrity and can demand respect from a crowd by just walking into a room. President Romney sounds great

Ron Paul. 8%. Rising... John McCain. 6%. Falling. Do the math.

Huckabee is a nice guy...But don't vote for him unless you like "illegals" getting their education funded with your Tax Dollars! Ron Paul 08

Yet another poll where Ron Paul is not mentioned........Big Surprise.... Despite the Fact that he leads all Republicans in fund raising this Quarter!! But I am afraid that you (the media) will once again have to cover Ron Paul on December 16th (Boston Tea Party Day) when Ron doubles his previous record of 4.2 million!! Ha

Yet another poll where Ron Paul was excluded...Big Surprise....at least you in the media are consistant....
I'm afraid however that you will once again have to cover Ron Paul (whether you like it or not) come December 16th...when Ron doubles his previous record of 4.2 Million. Go Ron Paul 2008!

I am disappointed in the voters of Iowa who will NOT vote for Romney because he is a Morman. As a Southern Baptist, I find this hypocritical. He is not running to lead a church but the Government of the USA. When Huckabee says that God is pushing his campaign, that makes me nervous.

    • Posted By: lawabider @ 12/07/2007 9:31:05 PM

If any of you missed Romney's address he made on religion - shame on you!!!!!!! It was absolutely wonderful. This man is AMAZING I would love to see him as our president. I loved what he had to say. He finally hit the nail on the head! I am not extremely religious but it is obvious that mormons are christians and if this is an issue for you as a voter then GET INFORMED!!!! What a wonderful man!

As Chase Martyn reports on Ron Paul's chances in Iowa on the Huffington Post: "The more we think about it, the more we conclude that none of the remaining candidates on this list have a strong base of support the way Rep. Paul does. His unlikely coalition of supporters does not include many typical caucus-goers, but they are devoted. And to top it all off, the campaign appears to be fairly well organized here, with paid calls, visibility (television, radio, billboards), and direct outreach efforts. Much about the Paul campaign will remain up in the air until caucus night, but a third place finish in Iowa would certainly raise some eyebrows heading into New Hampshire." http://www.huffingtonpost.com/chase-martyn/new-report-ron-paul-thir_b_75756.html

Why is Ron Paul's 8% not mentioned!!!!!??? It's obvious he is gaining ground and the MSM is afraid. With Thompson and Giuliani sinking fast, RP will most likely take a 2nd or 3rd place finish in Iowa.
