I believe the person called jesusrocks could have accomplished the same thing with faith in God or even just in themselves. The water gave you faith that is all that happened. And why 100.00 a case? So that poor people can't afford to buy faith?

In case you don't like to read everything before you make your critical statements gsbrowder, this is from the website masthead.

Our Lady the Immaculate Virgin, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to support Our Lady's request to have her likeness, as Our Lady of America, placed in the National Shrine to The Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. and to support the preservation of the Holy Ground in Rome City, IN where the central messages of Our Lady of America were given and this special devotion began. OLTIV, Inc. claims no affiliation with any other group or website promoting this cause.

I hate to pop your boisterous bubble there gsbrowder but I think the For Sale sign on the highway for the past 6 months has been pretty obvious to anyone entering the property for the FREE WATER they let anybody take. The tours are FREE too! If I lay a few dollars into their donation box, that's MY business.

As for the healing effects of the spring water in lowering my blood pressure and helping to remove buildup in my arteries, my doctor tends to disagree with your diagnosis.

OLTIV is a 501 c 3 NFP. Just like the Church is buddy.

I hope somebody comes along and buys that place and runs it for all the people like me who could never afford to go to some place like Lourdes, France. Sounds to me like you are a grumpy person who probably could use a few glasses of that water to remove the blockage you apparently have.

Oh yes Olablue, that Mineral Water from that particulare site is the direct result of your lowered blood pressure. Never mind the natural cleansing; antioxidant, effect of mineral water in general. And just exactly where do you stay when you visit that 197+ acres of commercially zoned property? Do you get the Group Rate Discount? Are you aware that the 6000 square foot powerhouse is being prepared to be a bottling operation for your precious Mineral Water? Paid for by your tour and donation dollars. Or could you not gather that from the 75,000 gallon water tower right smack in the middle of your religious site? I guess you didn't realize that OLTIV was an Incorporated Business. You paid for your water. And you'll really like this...the site is For Sale.

I would never buy pre-blessed water. I would never buy water from Lourdes for that matter. However, The water I have been getting has not been blessed by any priests, but I believe it has been given special graces, which priests do not have the faculties to bestow, because it comes from the springs where Our Lady chose to appear several times as Our Lady of America. You can read more about it at www.oltiv.org.

I too am a Roman Catholic; active in my parish, and in my opinion Martin Luther would have been justified in speaking against enterprises such as this. Canon Law does indeed prohibit the sell of items which have been blessed. As our savior hung upon the cross; blood and water flowed from his side, I have to ask; had it been available for mass marketing, would Wayne's CEO have been tempted to sell that as well, the holiest of all water.

I am a Roman Catholic and a student of Canon Law, and it is illegal to sell blessed items. I would be wary of the companies assertion that a Catholic priest blesses the water because that would cause serious scandal. I think the marketing is great and I love the art but to say that it is blessed is misleading, sacrilegeous and detestable.

Its a sin to sell a blessed item.
