THere is a book called "Power Vs Force". It describes the energy vibrations in all things, from water to pop, to negative thinking, critizism, love, etc. It is apperant for all of us that there is a more positive energy or vibration from love and kindness, than cruelty, judgement and violence. As well as comparing the energy level of sodas to water. I heard someone say once 'when people discuss religion, there is argument and debate, but when people discuss spirituality there is understanding, kindness and connection to one another". If we all took a look at the teachings of Jesus (and actually other spiritual leaders and prophets) we would see that we all pretty much agree on the best way to treat each other and to create a much more peaceful world.

I think this is a GREAT idea. If drinking a bottle of water everyday will make someone think about Jesus...that's great. If drinking water will make a person feel as if they are doing good--that's great. I would totally buy this product. It would make a great conversation starter and what a great conversation to have. I am a VERY religious person and I think this is GREAT. I dont care that it will cost money to get...I give money everytime I'm in chuch...it's not about the money it's about the constant reminder that God/Jesus is present. If it takes a silly bottle of water to get people interested and talking, I say GREAT!

      bridgitd1021,
Having a bottle of water to think about Jesus is a cheap substitute. If drinking water makes anybody feels they are doing good is also not real.
Being religious is not being spiritual. Religions are created by men, but spirituality has everything to do with God Himself. He cannot be bought with money or good deeds.

Even if the guy selling it had a turban on?

    I absolutely love this!

I guess any demographic that is stupid enough to trade common sense for the promise of eternal bliss should be foolish enough to buy this!! What is next? Perhaps the Body Of Christ Wonder bread, with 12 vitamins and minerals? Perhaps the Agony Of Christ acetaminophen? And if it works here, we can REALLY clean up with the Muslims! I can see it now, a Junior Jihadi Kit with decoder ring and 9 volt blinking suicide vest under every Ramadan Bush!

I think everyone in this forum has lost their good spirits. It sad to think people live without souls. Sad to think of all the evil people in this world. Sometimes I say "I talked to Jesus today and he made me feel good" This statement is correct english. I dont understand what you are specially saying "gettingthere" but maybe you should not be so hostile.

Why would anyone put God in such a small box by using pronouns like he, him, or even her? My understanding of God as supreme being transcends gender. Even though the bible says God made us in "His" image - I believe that was just a metaphor that we could have some chance of understanding. God doesn't look like a human being! Pronouns aren't appropriate when talking about God.

I am a Roman Catholic with some nominal understanding of canon law and it is in fact against Church law to sell blessed items such as Holy Water or blessed rosaries. I would be very wary of the companies assertion that a Catholic priest blesses them, that would cause scandal.

    • Posted By: bridgitd1021 @ 12/11/2007 10:17:35 AM

That is NOT true. I am a RC as well. You can sell anything blessed....that is NOT a sin.

Watch your mouth Frost, Christians rule this country and this world. It's every Christians duty to spread th word of God and make sure people like yourself dont get owned by Satan

    • Posted By: angelus1967 @ 12/11/2007 12:43:10 PM

jesusrocks - I thought you were being a little tongue in cheek before, now I see that you are just sad and scared of the world around you. I would much rather be "owned by Satan" than to associate with any christians who are like you.

One day with Science, will provide the wealthy immortality. Humans that can live 500 years old. This is not a hard task for humans to accomplish. Scientists and doctor's helping you and your family live longer are God. People that have spent all of their lives locked up in a closet studying to become doctors. professors, and physicists give us what we have today. Not some imaginary Jewish guy that created everything.

Most Christians don't belive in carbon dating, lol. Bones in the earth dont lie. Dinosaur bones, different species of humans (Not of homo-sap origion), and the fact that the world is older than 2k years old, lol. According to the Bible we must have walked among the Dinosaurs...lol!

In Europe the churches are under a socialist program. This means all churches get a allocated amount of money and there is no need to put up billboards and make a circus out of getting people to come to your church. The churches look plain and look exactly like they did in the middle ages. America on the other hand has preverted the religion into healing the crippled by simple touching you , crying and jumping up and down like a crazy monkey. I would shoot myself dead before I become like that

People pay money to find ways to feel better about themselves physically and mentally all the time. If this water will help some people find a better life, then why is it so bad? Also, when you talk about marketing and making money, I think of the Bible Superstores or other Christian bookstores that are all over the place. These businesses are profiting and doing well at selling things with Jesus on them. There are decorations, books, bumper stickers, and more in those places. Why is the water so different?

I'm glad to see that there are "sheep" out there that won't fall for this marketing ploy! I always thought drinking holy water was a sin in the first place... correct me if I'm wrong. Since this will be my only post and I will not come back to this board, I will not set things up for a "holy war" argument, but this is a discussion board about drinking water with the image of christian symbols on it to get the "sheep" to buy it.

I know that once most of you read this, there will be posts for me to repent and take christ into my heart to save myself... or even reading the bible will teach me things. Let me clear thing up for you real fast. I've read your bible...nice story, but I really hate to say this...it is JUST A STORY. It isn't the word of god. It was written by men, and the ones that supposedly wrote it were more than likely illiterate. As for the god, well, the argument we can get into can be long and drawn out, but let's just say that he's isn't the nice forgiving guy you all like to portray him as. He's washed away the human race because he didn't like it. He destroyed whole cities and towns. Turned people to salt for looking back. I can go on and on, and this is just using your own story book. We won't even go into all the other "chapters" your church won't let you all read.

What do I believe in? I believe in myself. If something good happens, it happens because I worked hard to learn everything to make it happen. I'm not going to complete something that was difficult to do and then give the credit to someone else!! Especially some big imaginary pink elephant. If I try and do something and it goes wrong, I do something that it appears most christians have forgotten to do, I take the blame on myself.

I am happy that you all have faith in something. You need to believe that there is someone or something out there that is taking care of you and looking out for you. You need that security blanket. I wish you ALL would realize that not everyone needs your crutch and that some of us are strong enuff to stand on our own. You may think we may need saving, but you don't realize that when we are smiling at you...there is a little pity running thru us for you. To answer that last question. When I die, if I end up in front of some god, I will not bow down to him even then. I will acknowledge its existance, but I will NOT bend knee to anyone or anything. If that means something bad happens to me, then I WILL take responsiblility for my actions and I will not make any excuses. All I have to ask you all is, what happens when you leave this coil and expect to meet your god and you find that there isn't one? You don't have to answer it, but look inside yourselves and think about it. If you look in your book to answer it, don't bother... you're too afraid to look outside of the "herd".

Its the reason Muslims are going to Hell, its the wrong belief. Even the Jewish people are going to Hell. I hate to admit it but when the Jews killed Jesus, they made a bad mistake and they will be punished for it.

    • Posted By: happyxmas @ 12/11/2007 11:27:03 AM

Ive heard Christians say thats why the Jews where and still are being presecuted. WWII was probably an act of God and maybe he did that to the Jews. The Bible also says our lives are predestined, so If this is true....the Jews were predestined to die of horrible deaths? What about the little children? I dont think that is a right belief Christians should have.

The Jewish community has given thousands of retail items their stamp of approval even items such as beer.

I can't believe what man can do for money! The Ceo and the heads of marketing don't care about God or about us to be focus or good, they just want us to be the constant buyers. God doesn't need these "blessed" waters to make himself known, and thanks to Jesus, we don't need this water, because now we directly are able to seek our father God. I don't say that this is all wrong, actually it is good to be reminded about the word of God but don't make this all about business. God is all about giving not about taking, How much do you really give to those in need?..

I can't believe what men can do for money! God doesn't need your "blessed" waters to make himself known and people thanks to Jesus! We are able to seek our father God directly. I don't say this is tatally wrong because good is to be reminded about the word of God, about love, respect and peace but please don't use this to make profits for yourselves, how much do you really give away to those in need?

Water blessed by a priest? They should bring in a Rabbi and make it Kosher as well. Water energized by banging a gong or Tibetan bowl? Buddhism is a heretical pluralistic relegion. Water made "Spiritual" with a picture of Christ or Mary? I have several images of Christ in my home but it doesn't make me spiritual. What makes me a Christian is my belief that Jesus Christ was born, lived, crucified and rose from the dead. His life was sinless which paid the price for our sins. Bottled water with divine qualities is an attempt to capitialize at the expense of the "Name above all Names". I believe in spreading the Gospel but they will not be lining their pockets with any of my money. This is blashphemy.
