The Russel Trust is a secret society. This subjects them to many Conspiracy Theories. Since our President and many others in government are assoiated with this organization it would be wrong for me to read into things that cannot be proven. I just want to show who owns the world's capital(VERY FEW) and how they influence every government in the world directly or indirectly. We are becoming a GLOBAL COMMUNITY; and eventually there will BE ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT. George Sorros manages the Queens investments. These powerful families FUND CLUBS LIKE THE PARIS CLUB; THIS ORGANIZATION ALONG WITH OTHERS FUND THE IMF AND WB. We need to support a policy of Peace and Prosperity For ALL. Many people from these families have made tremendous contributions to American Society. Bloodlines are very important in American Society because they determine what fraternity you belong too. I see nothing wrong with that. My purpose is to eduate the electorate. The more the "voter knows"; the more honest, and less scripted politicians will be. And then maybe we will realize that leaving people behing does not work; WE need a President who won't forget about us. A President that can convince these powers to use their wealth and ownership for the better good of ALL and not just for their own narrow interests.
nbrhi60624:You will see after visiting the links below and a little research that these families dominate both political parties.Remember, that George Bush is a Russel Trust member. Research the
Astor, Bundy, Collins, DuPont , Freeman, Kennedy Li Onassis Reynolds Rockefeller Rothschild
Russell, Van Duyn families.
Bush's fraternity now dominates his administration. You will find no matter who is in power, these fraternities are represented by a family member in any administration CAN ANY of these Candidates Bring these fraternal orders together in order to improve the LIVES OF ALL AMERICANS.

TYPE IN ALL THE FAMILY NAMES AND YOU WILL SEE THE CONNECTION. A FEW FRATERNITIES CONTROL BOTH PARTIES CAPITAL.
William Putnam "Bill" Bundy
Raised in Boston, Massachusetts he came from a family long involved in politics. His father, Harvey Hollister Bundy, was a diplomat who helped implement the Marshall Plan. Bill was raised in a highly accomplished, highly intellectual family. After attending the Groton School and Yale University (where he was one of the first presidents of the Yale Political Union), he entered Harvard Law School but left to join the Army Signal Corps during World War II. During this time he worked at Bletchley Park in Britain as part of the top secret ULTRA operation to break Nazi codes.
During the 1950s he worked as an analyst for the Central Intelligence Agency. During the Kennedy years he worked for the Secretary of the Navy and during much of the LBJ era was an Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific affairs. After resigning from the executive branch in 1969 he taught at MIT and then edited the influential journal of the Council on Foreign Relations (of which he was a member), Foreign Affairs, from 1972 to 1984, after declining the offer of the Council's chairman, David Rockefeller, to be the Council's president.
His brother, McGeorge Bundy, was also an integral part of the both the Kennedy and Johnson administrations. Bill was married to Mary Acheson, the daughter of Truman's Secretary of State Dean Acheson. Bill and Mary had three children, Michael, Christopher, and Carol.
Bill was somewhat to the left of his brother politically, and was a spirited opponent of Joseph McCarthy. He was also considered one of the administration's more dovish members on Vietnam.

Please note that Henry Taft Benson(Mormon president) and members of the Russel family started the Russel Trust(Skull and Bones Society. Benson was a fan of the John Birch Society.
I hope this nation never reaches the point where a candidate for office is accepted or rejected on the basis of a religious confession, rather than on the basis of of his public conduct and behavior. Mitt Romney should be evaluated on his conduct, not his belief. If voters are still concerned with his beliefs, then consider how his conduct has been affected by them.
@CORE THEOLOGY:
Mormonism is a cult, if you define cult as "Any religious group that deviates from orthodox teachings of historic Christianity, while claiming to be "true Christians" by way of some special revelation or privilege". There are lots of cults out there, Mormonism being one.
Sure, maybe by YOUR church's definition.
John Jay said "REAL Christians will abstain from violating the rights of others."
Jacob Henry said "Governments only concern the actions and conduct of man, and not his
speculative notions. Who among us feels himself so exalted above his fellows as to have a right to dictate to them any mode of belief?"
I pose the same question to you. Do you feel so exalted above your fellows as to have a right to dictate to them your mode of belief? Or to suggest your way is the right way and theirs is the wrong?
Fact is, though, regardless how you answer that question---whether you're Christian, Mormon, Jew, Muslim...there is only ONE God. There may be different interpretations of His word, but there is only ONE. For you to suggest otherwise is blasphemy.
SINNER.
Ahhhh, Christians (and Mormons and Muslims, etc etc) are SO quick to judge. Passing judgment is not your role, sinner. Perhaps to humble yourself is the best remedy.
It is so much easier to preach it than it is to live it.
It's easy to see why "I won't be forcefed prophecy from a book of untruth for the wicked mind" means so much to so many people these days.
"I dismiss it as the folklore of our time" also comes to mind.
I find it comical that the religious backgrounds and denominations play such a big part in y'all's determination on who the best candidate for office is. Oh, to go back to the good ol' days...not 50 years ago, of course, but back to the Founding Fathers, the majority of whom did NOT subscribe to the myths of Christianity (regardless of which lies to which you follow) and had no intention of having "In God We Trust" on every dollar printed by our treasury. What a buncha hokey. Do your research, vote your conscience. It's a heckuva lot easier to preach it than it is to LIVE it.
"It does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are 20 gods, or no God. It
neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg." --Thomas Jefferson
There is no hate, just the desire to show the true difference between what Christians believe and what mormons believe. They are two totally different things...you have to understand that. Mormons believe that God was once a man....a SIGNIFICANT difference than what Evangelicals believe....along with many other points of doctrine and teaching. Mormons, like J Witnesses guise yourself in the mask of Christianity, but you are not Christians. There is no hate or bashing behind this statement, just truth out of love. Personally, I was never "taught" or "warned" about any other religious denomination in Sunday School. I was taught of the love of Jesus Christ.
There are differences indeed. My point is that the only thing that makes the evangelical view of God "Chrisitian" is that they carry around a document with a definition agreed upon by men.
A Christian is one who believes that Jesus Christ is their Savior and Redeemer. A Christian is someone who is baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and takes his name and countenance upon themselves. A Christian lives a Christ like life by following to the best of their ability to live and treat others with the respect, love, and kindness that Christ did.
I believe in Jesus Christ...he is my Savior and Redeemer. I was baptized in his name. I do my best to live a life consistent with his teachings. My life defines my Christianity, not a historical declaration. I can't imagine Christ picketing outside of a temple, irreverently disparging the beliefs of those who reverently worship him and his sacrifice inside. Evangelicals do, Mormons never will.
With all of the attacks launched at the Mormon church, they will NEVER attack back. They only seek to clarify their beliefs where they are often taken out of context and purported to mean or signify something that they clearly do not.
You can wrap what you do in whatever paper you want, but the smell of arrogance and intolerance still seeps through. Ultimately what I would like to know is this: if the evangelical beliefs were as misunderstood as mine are, how would you hope that others would respond?
To hoopes_as Would you allow a non-Mormon to lead your church? It would be very difficult for you to vote against a Mormon. So why is it so hard for you to understand that People who are not Mormon find it impossible to TURN THEIR BACKS ON THEIR OWN for a Mormon candidate who FLIP-FLOPS so much that it leaves one DIZZY.
You really live in a different world than I do. A non-mormon could never lead the mormon church, so it's not something I would ever be faced with "allowing". You're analogy is like comparing apples to baseball bats. Having someone of a different religious backgroung lead your religion is a little bit different than having someone of a different religious background lead the country. How is it that you can't see that? It would not be difficult for me to vote for a non-mormon in the presidential race.
This conversation really has NOTHING to do with people turning their backs on someone of their own faith for President. It has everything to do with them taking shots at my faith.
As to flip-flops, again it's a matter of context. Romney's highest profile "flip-flop" is related to abortion. His position has changed, but it isn't a 180 degree change. As a governor he supported every piece of pro-life legislation that was offered for his signature, His personal stance on the morality of abortion has NOT changed. What has changed is his belief on what the role of the government in restricting abortion should be. Personally, I like his position as governor best.
Truth is, it looks like Huckabee has changed positions on many more things than Romney has.
I am Mormon. Many on this board disagree with my beliefs, and honestly I disagree with yours. But, I just do NOT understand the constant attacks on my faith from those of you who have different, but such similar beliefs as I do. My experience in the Mormon church gives me no basis for understanding how entire congregations of "Christians" can justify standing outside our holy temples (where the most sacred ordinances of my religion are performed) and yell and hollar and hold up signs deriding and mocking my faith.
I heard and evangelical leader speaking of Romney. He said that Romney would NEVER get away with claiming Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior because EVERY evangelical has been taught all about the Mormons in Sunday School. I was shocked. You see, we have Sunday school too. And, in sunday school we learn of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We learn of his atonment for our sins. We learn of forgiveness and repentence. We learn that we are not perfect and we talk about how we can be lifted up, and he we can serve others when we are not so focused on ourselves. It is expressly OUT OF BOUNDS to talk about or rip on another religion. We spend no time studying what others believe or how to prove them wrong. We focus on coming closer to God, and learning of our Savior.
The doctrine of the evangelicals is just lost on me. As a Christian, I would NEVER entertain the idea of sitting outside of a Baptist or Methodist or Pentacostal place of worship with the hopes of converting you by making a mock of your beliefs. What is it in the life and teachings of Jesus Christ that leads "Christians" to believe that such action converts one to the gospel? We are taught that it is the spirit that teaches, not man himself. To the extent that I go into a situation with anger, hatred, mockery, envy, or pride, with the intent to tear another down, the spirit will not teach. When I approach someone and see them as a person, value them as a person, approach them with love and genuine concern, then perhaps I can reach them with the message of Jesus Christ.
So long as you study the doctrine of the Mormon church with the intent to gather ammunition, you will never understand and you will never recognize and accept that there is far more in common between my faith and yours than there are differences. I'd just for once like to see an evangelical website describe the similarities between our faith's instead of the differences. To focus only on the differences is not a sincere effort to understand.
"A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump."
all your comments prove how stupid the adherents of organized religion are.
Yours are revealing as well.
hoopes_az surely you can understand my frustration! With all the problems an actively religious president has caused America, the best we can do is djscuss religious brand loyalty. However lets look on the bright side. It may be the best argument possible for electing a president who is not encumbered by outdated religious beliefs
Don't get me wrong, I do understand your frustration. I think Bush has been a disaster and I don't think he can rationally draw a distinction between where religious views are appropriate and inappropriate within the context of his office.
Religion shouldn't be in the middle of a Presidential campaign. And while this article is political in nature, I'm standing up to the attacks against my beliefs. So, the tone of my comments shouldn't be taken in the context of a Presidential campaign. I'm not for a President who I think will do what Bush has done. Huckabee and the Evangelicals have made Romney's religion an issue. You may also agree that it is an issue, I don't know. I do know that the only reason he is front and center with his religion is simply to defend against the Evangelical vote. It's a defense he never should have had to mount. He should be judged on his record as a person and a politician.
religion is poppycock.
couldn't agree more with everything youve said bob
I see, as usual, the arguments have degenerated. We are now at the stage where we are comparing one person's irrational belief against that of another. Belief is defined as a psychological state in which a person holds an argument or proposition to be true without being able to prove it. These discussions comparing one irrational belief against another I like the medieval discussions about how many angels can dance on the head of a pin
I get the impression from this correspondence that a lot of people are of the opinion that if you believe hard enough, your belief becomes the truth. Unfortunately this is not so. It seems that religious thinking has not progressed very far. If science has progressed at the same rate, we would still think the earth is is flat, and we would have a regular visits from the bubonic plague. Our only defense to disease would be prayer. It also seems to me that the people who make the least meaningful contribution to the discussion write the most.
It seems to be desperately important that they should demonstrate that their irrational beliefs are superior to everyone elses. There does not seem to be any realization that however cleverly you package an irrational belief, it is still in the end, just an irrational belief and nothing more.
Thanks for your 2 cents Bob. I find your lack of faith just as astounding as you find my faith. We clearly just come from two different places. I certainly won't try to convince you of my point of view though.
It is not the job of a Christian to convince a non believer of Christ or the working power of the Holy Spirit, just the share the knowledge of their existence. It is the workings of the Holy Spirit that does the rest. Rely not on man but on Christ. Bless you.
Wait, I thought that WAS your job! To try to suck as many of us non-believers into the fold as possible. Don't tell me you are giving up on us? You were the one who told me that it seemed you had done your job earlier because I mentioned god. Does this mean you quit and we are right?
I am being facetious of course. But I will always rely on man because that's all christ really was anyway.
No, you are mistaken. It is the job of the Christian to "share the good news" of Christ, but from that point on, it the workings of the Holy Spirit that take root in the heart of the unbeliever. We as Christians are accountable to share of knowledge of the Almighty, but not responsible for your or anyone else's choice to accept him as Lord and Savior. That is on you. The choice is yours. I hope you chose him. He loves you.
Well, I have no evidence or indication that God gave us any book, Mr. Huckabee. (He is a spirit isn't he. Talking to humans like Jesus Christ or Joseph Smith.)
It would take way to long to respond to this.....
: I noticed you criticized Benson for supporting the JOHN BIRCH SOCIETY. BUT you never criticized him. Benson doctrine is what the MAJORITY of Mormons live by. I would like to see you go to your church and criticize Benson. As mentioned I back my statements up with facts. There are many reasons Mormons will not come forth even though they know of the corruption in the Mormon church. One is due to their belief in Mormon scripture which they associate with the Mormon church. The leadership has usurped power and authority over this scripture. Thus, the members of the Mormon church think that God expects them to support their misguided leaders. This is much the - rationalization that many Americans make about our government. They all know of the corruption, but rationalize that it is unpatriotic to talk against the government or ungrateful to complain when they enjoy superficial prosperity."
By "majority", are you again referring to your dentist?

Don't you EVER go away??? You are a nutjob and this conspiracy theory of yours is lunacy!!
I'm so glad you clarified this for us....considering you have so much obvious understanding of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!
Sir, you are misinformed.....your eyes see with secular glasses and your heart is hardened by this earth ruled by the devil. You could not understand the love we Christians have or the way in which we view this world. Only Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit will show you the truth. Nothing I write or say will. God bless you. I pray that when he knocks you will open the door of your heart.
None of us is misinformed. What Shankardada2 writes about this country is true, it never was a christian country as it was never mentioned in the Constitution. As that document was written as a blueprint for a new country don't you suppose they would've included the information that they were founding it in the name of christ if that had been their intention? They were very intelligent men and I don't think they would've missed that.
The love you christians have? Is that they love shown to the Native Americans or the other indiginous groups slaughtered in the name of christ as you tried to convert them? Or is it the love shown by your pickets screaming hate and bile at abortion clinics? Or is it the love shown to gays and lesbians who just want to live their lives as equals? All of those forms of liove i could do without, thank you.
Just as you may pray out of love, we "agnostics" are attempting to educate you for your own enlightenment and for the betterment of mankind. You don't need Christianity to love your brother or to see the good in aiding your fellow man. Wake up, my brother, let go of the crutch of "Christ," whose followers have caused so much evil in the world, from the crusades, to the Inquisitions, to the evangelical's justifications of slavery and Jim-Crow in the deep South, to the Protestant extermination of Native Americans and their culture in the name of "Christianizing" them. In your attempts to "save" man from "Hell" throughout the ages, you have created a Hell on Earth.
Once again Shankardada2, thank you. You have written what I have been trying to say all along but your posts are much more succinct than mine.
