Comment: I completely agree with vladimir99, especially regarding the community service. This "man" is sorry he got caught, feels bad for himself and has a sheer disregard for lives of animals. He slaughtered, hanged, ELECTROCUTED, (which I did not know-damn), tortured and mutilated dogs, MAN'S best friend. He is an ignorant pig. Do you know what they do to kids who harm animals? They label them as potential sociopaths. I know this goes on. He is in the spotlight, already holier-than-thou. And then he displays a gross overt action of, not poor judgement, it's evil. I personally do not like football, but love kids and they have a moral obligation to the kids. And yes, perhaps a job at Pet Smart might do the trick! In his mind he did nothing wrong. He's a monster. Prison won't help. He's a friggin hero in there..............

Comment: The full five years would have been more appealing to me as a sentence. This man really never admitted "guilt," just poor judgement, and even that was only under intense pressure. He has learned nothing, and failing discovery, would still be pursing this activity today. In honor of the animals he tortured and killed, and not only dogs-- but the countless and nameless animals he supported being tortured and killed for use as "bait" and training animals-- his sentence should have been longer. I would have liked to see a substantial community service sentence tacked on to his 23 months, at the least.

Comment: Maybe he should get a job at Pet Smart.
