It has Been reported on NPR today on the All Things Considered that Barack Obama will win the Texas primary when all of tallying is completed. It is time for Hillary to do the right thing and step aside and stop splitting the party apart, stop playing the Rove handbook for political maneuvering. You can not win in November according to all of the experts. Even the elite in your party are telling you right now to get out with grace before you have to leave with disgrace.

Hillary's smarty-pants comment that Obama isn't a Muslim as far as she knows is another example of the slime ball Clinton character. Such a qualification amply bolsters the false rumor, as she very well knows. Personally, I'm a former Republican poised on a decision to stay home on election day if she's the Democratic candidate. Sorry, dragon lady, but one lying president has been enough!

    • Posted By: Jrmapu @ 03/03/2008 11:01:55 AM

What lies have you told? Stay home. The muslim issue is not an issue. You're making it the issue. Those of us whom have researched and study know that. There is more than just his ethnicity, race, culture, whatever. National Security is a big deal. He's weak on it. Healthcare, copying Hillary's plan and changing a few words isn't his own. Even his commercials have to piggy back on Hillary's. She may not be likeable but she will damn well protect our country.

      • Posted By: lexigrandma @ 03/04/2008 1:12:04 PM

When you speak of piggyback ads, are you referring to the 3 am phone call? That ad is lots older than this campaign. Hillary was piggybacking on that one as well.

The difference between them is the other had a mushroom. This one deals with what is going on now. The reality is we had an issue with 911. We needed to go to war to make a statement that we will not allow anyone to come here and hurt our citizens.

Roger's post really resonated my thought. It says all of what I felt about Clinton.
Whenever I see and hear her speech, I can't help feeling so bad and uncomfortable about me for being the same gender as hers. She represents of all the ugly nature which women tend to have; Being mean, jealousy, whiny, self-sentric, childish, lousy, rowdy, petty, silly, and greed.

It's already enough to see her ugly attitude for 2 months. To compare with her, even Bush Jr. looks cute now. With Obama? It's just so soothing and encouraging, it's priceless.

    • Posted By: Jrmapu @ 03/01/2008 7:46:49 PM

You must be talking about yourself. This woman has endured more pain and yet continues to move forward all in the public eye. She has no privacy. We do. if something is painful we run inside ourselves. She does not have that luxury. Shame on you for being insensitive. You must be a hateful woman. I feel sorry your husband has to look at you everyday.

      • Posted By: lexigrandma @ 03/04/2008 1:24:42 PM

I agree totally with ysbee...she expresses my thoughts quite well, but she left out Hillary's patent dishonesty.

        • Posted By: Jrmapu @ 03/05/2008 9:08:06 AM

Lets see you are bias aren't you? Obama has his own share of dishonesty. This time he messed up and his credibility is now on the line with the Teamsters and Canada. One wants NAFTA disassembled and the other doesn't. He got caught in his own web of poltical deceit. Hillary did not do that. His campaign did that. She is boring. Her life is an open book. DUH!

  • Posted By: Time for Change @ 03/03/2008 9:04:46 AM

I was going to comment on the article, but it seems this is a place where people come to bash the candidates instead.
There's a lot of bias here. According to Hillary's supporters, everyone should talk about Rezko (as if he is Obama) but it's not appropriate to ask Hillary about her tax returns to prove she not receiving lobbyists money to fund her campaign, or it's not appropriateto talk about McCain's situation discovered recently in the news---this is so hypocritical! All those complaining Obama says nothing or have no plan --stop showing your ignorance you choose to say uninformed. You could easily visit his website like everyone else. The real issue here is Clinton can not win in November. No one will admit that she is NOT likeable enough!

    • Posted By: Jrmapu @ 03/03/2008 10:56:31 AM

Rezko is not the only issue here. The issue is his allegience and loyalties to the United States. He is connected to some shady characters. These characters want to destroy the United States. Then there is the issue of National Security. Which go hand in hand with his affiliation to the characters. He misleads the public especially supporters that he was opposed to the war. Technically true but his voice did not matter. He was not privy to the report nor could he vote on that matter because he did not become a senator until 2004. The war happened in 2002. But when he finally did have a vote and a position did he make changes, NOT. The Afghanistan thing he surfaced that, yet he did nothing.
do we need changes, ABSOLUTELY. He is going to have a hard time himself to prove he is presidential material. I expect our commander in chief to make those hard decisions. Especially keeping America safe from people like Rezko, Farrakhan, Hezbollah, Osama, etc., etc. I don;t want another 911 in our backyard. Clinton may not be likeable but that is not a reason to give someone a job. I expect more than likeability. I want someone who does love this country as much as me and will protect this country by keeping the wars away from us.
Oh and I have visted his websites, theres many, ALL HAT AND NO CATTLE. He is no different from any politician.

      • Posted By: gilka @ 03/03/2008 12:27:25 PM

Sadly, Hillary is a goner tomorrow. All you Republicans who want Hillary to win should start rethinking your strategy and your choice of McCain. Hillary's friends the Communist China is worried their US market for sub-standard goods is gonna go. No lead tainted toys, No pet killer foods when Obama is seated in the Oval Office.

        • Posted By: Jrmapu @ 03/03/2008 12:38:28 PM

Really? Is that what your crystal ball says? Hillary will know when its time to give up. Not sooner. Obama will not have an easy time to get to the white house. He made too many enemies, especially the senators whom he basically said were emphatically wrong about the war in Iraq. I like the freedom we have. I want to keep it. And yes, if I need to vote the lesser of two evils, I will vote McCain. I do know his loyalties are to the UNITED STATES. Obama's is questionable.

          • Posted By: gilka @ 03/03/2008 5:15:20 PM

John "Keating 5" McCain is not as clean as you may think. Wait until the real campaigns begin. Even the stories you think are dead will resurface. We know you are all afraid of Obama hence the decampaigning strategy you have employed. Thank God nobody is buying it. McCain needs a miracle to step into the White House as Prez. Remember the lobbist young lady who you think who was appearing at McCain campaigns like Monica Lewisnky, more stories are on the way. The lesser of the two evils, will look more evil.

            • Posted By: Jrmapu @ 03/03/2008 11:12:32 PM

I did not say he was clean. He will protect the United States as I know Hillary would. As for scandal, everyone is open for scandal. This is politics. Not even the great Obama is excluded from it.
Obama has opened himself up for interpretation. Being associated with slime like Rezko, Farrakhan, Hezbollah, etc, etc. makes my skin crawl. These are known haters of America and white people.
I know Republicans are helping dethrone Hillary but come election time, they will vote their party as will majority of Hillary's followers. The votes you see now is all the votes he will receive. He may get a few sympathy votes from Hillary's folllowers but all the mudslinging and fear is whats turning people off.
Hillary will want everyone to jump on Obama's wagon because that is how Hillary is. She will not abandon Obama because she and Bill are the most sincere people when it comes to equality and doing what is right..
Maybe thats the part all of you forgot about Hillary.

              • Posted By: lexigrandma @ 03/04/2008 1:10:16 PM

Catty Hillary, support Obama? What have you been smoking? She's gonna go off in a corner somewhere and pout. Hillary isn't out for the country....she's out for herself....I think the only reason she's kept her womanizer hubby around is for her political asperations. Hillary is a lying, self-serving, witch.

    YOU MIGHT BE AN IDIOT:-)

If you think Barack Obama with little or no experience would be better than Hillary Clinton with 35 years experience.

    You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that Obama with no experience can fix an economy on the verge of collapse better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) led the greatest economic expansion, and prosperity in American history.

    You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that Obama with no experience fighting for universal health care can get it for you better than Hillary Clinton. Who anticipated this current health care crisis back in 1993, and fought a pitched battle against overwhelming odds to get universal health care for all the American people.

    You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that Obama with no experience can manage, and get us out of two wars better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) went to war only when he was convinced that he absolutely had to. Then completed the mission in record time against a nuclear power. AND DID NOT LOSE THE LIFE OF A SINGLE AMERICAN SOLDIER. NOT ONE!

    You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that Obama with no experience saving the environment is better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) left office with the greatest amount of environmental cleanup, and protections in American history.

    You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that Obama with little or no education experience is better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) made higher education affordable for every American. And created higher job demand and starting salary's than they had ever been before or since.

    You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that Obama with no experience will be better than Hillary Clinton who spent 8 years at the right hand of President Bill Clinton. Who is already on record as one of the greatest Presidents in American history.

    You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that you can change the way Washington works with pretty speeches from Obama, rather than with the experience, and political expertise of two master politicians ON YOUR SIDE like Hillary and Bill Clinton..

    You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think all those Republicans voting for Obama in the Democratic primaries, and caucuses are doing so because they think he is a stronger Democratic candidate than Hillary Clinton. :-)

    Best regards

Just as we had buyer's remorse with Bush, we'll soon have buyer's remorse with Obama. He's a good talker, but he should apply for a sale's job, not for President of our great country. After the way the media has demonized Clinton, Obama will be the the nominee. But I will not vote for him in November: I will vote for McCain. So will many Democrats, or should I say, McCainocrats.

    • Posted By: jj2000 @ 03/01/2008 11:13:03 AM

or should I say rascistrocrats? Now Hillary says Obama need to win ALL 4 states instead of her winning OH & TX by double digit margins. It pretty much proves not only Hillary lacks substance but her cult followers don't have substance either. This woman has no sense of shame. Obama is fighting not one but two Clintons who claims to have experience, yet he wins state after state. What does that indicate? You ask a school kid the same question and we get mad if he/she asnwers Clinton. Can adults do any better that this?

      • Posted By: 5interiors5 @ 03/01/2008 12:09:13 PM

I am sick of this race issue when people try to negate our votes for Hillary Clinton. If that is why you and all the black voters are giving him your vote, so be it. But my vote goes to Hillary Clinton because she is the most qualified of the three and I will not vote for McCain if she is not the partys nominee. I will cast a write in vote for Hillary because I cannot vote for a smug, ambitious, do nothing as Obama.

        • Posted By: Johnsonium @ 03/01/2008 1:38:46 PM

          OK, you racist.

          • Posted By: Eager to Vote in PA @ 03/01/2008 4:46:27 PM

One thing that strikes me about a lot of Obama supporters as I read the comments they post here, CNN, MSNBC, etc. is just how mean and nasty most of you are. How was this comment racist? The spew you all write is so against what Obama speaks about. If this is what his inspiration does, God help our country.

            • Posted By: lexigrandma @ 03/04/2008 2:06:58 PM

Have you listened to the venom that has been coming out of Hillary's mouth lately? I think she inspires the attacks with her negativity. I'm voting against HER rather than for Barrack.

          • Posted By: Eager to Vote in PA @ 03/01/2008 4:50:25 PM

The one thing that strikes me about a lot of the Obama supporters that post in blogs like this is just how mean and nasty they seem to be. What was racist? The fact that this person wasn't supporting Obama? If this is the type of allegiance brought about by Obama's soaring rhetoric, then God help this country.

        • Posted By: Isabeau @ 03/01/2008 7:15:03 PM

I sincerely believe that more Hillary supporters spout the race issue. People who don't want to vote for Obama make racist comments while people who don't want to vote for Clinton say they would like to see a woman in the white house, but not THAT woman. She isn't the right one to break into the political realm as the President of the United States of America.

  • Posted By: tired and old @ 03/01/2008 10:51:48 AM

I would really hate to see such a sleasey witch as Hillary Clinton winning the dem. nomination.

This woman exemplifies all that is corrupt in the political arena. Bill Clinton showed his corrupt side his whole political life using his power to enhance his bank account.

Is this what America is all about.

    • Posted By: lexigrandma @ 03/04/2008 2:04:30 PM

Woohoo! I couldn't have said it better.

  • Posted By: Jammetrymon @ 03/01/2008 11:33:26 AM

And the hits just keep on coming. So let me get this straight. Despite Bill Clinton's own statement to the contrary, if Hillary loses Texas, or Ohio, or even BOTH, she will still continue her campaign, as long as she wins only one of the delegate challenged states of Vermont or Rhode Island? Are these people nuts?, or are they stubbornly hellbent on dividing the Democratic party.
If this is an example of her "under pressure executive decision making" experience, who knows how she'll respond to that 3 a.m. call. Heck. we're all in serious trouble if she gets as much as a cabinet seat in the Obama White House. One week ago, I said I'd gladly vote for Clinton, even if Obama did'nt win the nomination. Now I have to seriously reexamine that prospect.

    • Posted By: lexigrandma @ 03/04/2008 2:03:30 PM

I don't think that Obama will even think twice before he decides against her. I know I wouldn't want someone in my office stabbing me in the back like she has during the campaign. You can't play dirty like she has and then expect your victim to want you on their team.

  • Posted By: OregonIndependent @ 03/01/2008 12:52:39 PM

"No more Clintons in the White House" - "not another immoral presidency," the Republicans jeer. Yet I mark 1998 as the best year of my life and a very good one for our country. Am I missing something about how terrible the 90s were? Or is the GOP just bitter about being on the losing team? I guess it doesn't matter - I'll give McCain a fair shake in the general election, but *so far* Hillary's knowledge and ability have the edge in my mind.

    • Posted By: Isabeau @ 03/01/2008 1:42:10 PM

Always "THE CLINTONS" It was Bill as president nad he just about got impeached... he fooled around and she let him get away with it... I'm not real sure what that says about her, is she a caring loving wife who is giving her immoral husband a second chance (and for the record, he is still fooling around on her and she knows it) or does that make her just a tad stupid.. just the kind of person we want as commander in chief so that all her advisers can pull her strings and make her dance to their music. She doesn't have a single real personal thought in her head that she can say she owns.

      • Posted By: lexigrandma @ 03/04/2008 1:53:42 PM

I hear that she plays her games on the side as well.

      • Posted By: Johnsonium @ 03/01/2008 2:17:06 PM

I'll take Clinton's dalliances over Bush's war mongering any day. What Bush and his cronies have done to the country and the world is truly immoral. Getting a BJ isn't even in the same league.

        That said. Go Obama!

    part 2
Probable U. S. presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black MUSLIM from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white ATHEIST from Wichita , Kansas.Obama's parents met at the University of Hawaii. When Obama was two years old, his parents divorced. His father returned to Kenya. His mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a RADICAL Muslim from Indonesia. When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocated to Indonesia. Obama attended a MUSLIM school in Jakarta. He also spent two years in a Catholic school. Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim. He is quick to point out that, 'He was once a Muslim, but that he also attended Catholic school.' Obama's political handlers are attempting to make it appear that that he is not a radical.
Obama's introduction to Islam came via his father, and that this influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned to Kenya soon after the divorce, and never again had any direct influence over his son's education. Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama's mother, Ann Dunham, introduced his stepson to Islam. Obama was enrolled in a Wahabi school in Jakarta. Wahabism is the RADICAL teaching that is followed by the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world. Since it is politically expedient to be a CHRISTIAN when seeking major public office in the United States, Barack Hussein Obama has joined the United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay his Muslim background. ALSO, keep in mind that when he was sworn into office he DID NOT use the Holy Bible, but instead the Koran. Barack Hussein Obama will NOT recite the Pledge of Allegiance nor will he show any reverence for our flag. While others place their hands over their hearts, Obama turns his back to the flag and slouches. Do you want someone like this as your PRESIDENT?Let us all remain alert concerning Obama's expected presidential candidacy. The Muslims have said they plan on destroying the US from the inside out, what better way to start than at the highest level - through the President of the United States, one of their own!

Comment: I am a voter in Ohio, and I am so very, very tired of the spin. I don't even like using that word, but the truth is that's what people are doing. When I think of the fact that Sen. Clinton, someone I admire, has lost 11 straight contests and her team says that if Obama loses, even 1 of the next four, that people are having 'buyers remorse' - it is quite disheartening. If you have 15 games and one team is 14-1 or even 13-2, and the other team with 1 or 2 wins in the last 15 games boasts - it's just an icky feeling. I didn't know who to support, because both of the candidates are very close, but after reading and seeing all the spin - I'm going to vote for Sen. Obama. Just to make sure that the spin drama stops. - Paul North, Cleveland, OH

If you had actually done some research on that posting that went around the web about Obama not pledging allegiance to the flag you would have discovered that the picture was taken during the singing of the National Anthem, and that even according to military regulations, you may stand at attention and not hold your hand over your heart, and you are not required to sing along. It was a ploy to make him look bad. I can't believe the lies that people will tell, and how gullible the public is when they feel threatened by something they don't understand. It reminds me of the kids who used to throw things at my brother and call him names because he was different, my brother had cerebral palsy, Something that scared them because he was not like them. Obama is a young, black, intelligent frontrunner, people fear him because he is different. I applaud him for not letting up, for continuing to hold on to his beliefs and for being a gentleman when dealing with a rabid female who only wants to bite him and take the power she sees in him. Sorry Hill, it ain't happening. Obama was raised to be a proper and kind man, in spite of your tantrums.

I didn't know who to support, because both of the candidates are very close, but after reading and seeing all the spin - I'm going to vote for Sen. Obama. Just to make sure that the spin drama stops. - Paul North, Cleveland, OH

I'm so glad you weren't influenced by Hillary's promise that SHE is going to reopen closed factories.

I think Hillary was the brains behind the most sucssful Presidency we have seen in 30 yrs. While Bill was the front man, Hillary worked to make this country great. It is time we made her President! She does have the experience, and she will know what to do if that phone rings. I can't get any straight answers out of Obama and if I hear him say he was against the war one more time I will throw up. Bush was given permission to go to was only as a last resort and ofcourse he didn't listen! Obama wasn't even in the Senate at the time of the vote, so what he has to say about it is nonscence. Bush has spent over 3000 of our youny peoples lives in a needless war just to get Sadam. I for one won't put an American born Muslim in the Oval Office.

This is pretty darned amusing! Bill is very smart, Hillary certainly isn't his brains. If you think Obama is a Muslim, you are brainwashed. Most of Hillary's experience is second hand, she was around the edges of the white house, but didn't do anything substantial there. But the real point is that experience is less important than judgement and character, which she keeps demonstrating a lack of. Obama is the far better choice.

I would rather have a person looming in the shadows of the White House then a person who is running on a message.

How will Hillary run the country when she can't run a campaign?

    • Posted By: gilka @ 03/01/2008 1:50:36 PM

Hillary was not economic adviser for Bill when he was in office. How much credit do you have to take away from Bill's advisers and more so from Greenspan and dump it on Hillary just for the sake of making her look experienced?

      • Posted By: bellcalif @ 03/01/2008 2:53:30 PM

Then again how would you know. Greenspan did as he was told by the President. Pillow talk is the advisor.

        • Posted By: gilka @ 03/01/2008 3:01:23 PM

So you think that's how America is run? Pillow talk about the nation, and not about how much they love each other? That's why Bill strayed.

Not only did Senator Clinton vote in favor of the 'Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution' of 2002, it's damned notable that three out of four of her foreign policy advisors supported the war in Iraq! (Madeleine Albright, Richard Holbrooke and Sandy Berger. Wesley Clark did oppose the war.)

On the other hand, Senator Obama and his foreign policy advisors oppose the Iraq war. (Zbigniew Brzezinski, Richard Clarke, Samantha Power, Anthony Lake and Susan Rice.)

The Clintons are being very dishonest about their foreign policy positions.

The Clintons are dishonest about lots of stuff plus Siick Willy back in the White House could bring more womanizing scandals.

There is an amusing clip on You -Tube called, "Bamboozling Obama." On the other hand according to the latest news out of Texas, (Jeff Mason, SAN ANTONIO, 3/2/08) Senator Barack Hussein Obama is now arrogant and claiming that, "Clinton is seen as the titleholder who . . . needs to be knocked out." My, my, my, Texas has a way of making people talk big, and they also have a saying that is appropriate for Obama, "All hat and no cattle."

I'm sick of the negative statements, shreiking voice, I can't envision this individual in the While House with her womanizer of a husband chasing the female members of the White House staff. As for the ads, I don't think she was sleeping at 3 am in her ad where she was dressed in her snazzy pantsuit. I heard that after she had crawled over Bill to get to the phone that the caller asked for Barrack Obama!

This is RAPE....This is Wrong...This could be your CHILD....I can not vote for Hillary
In 1975, a 27-year-old Hillary Rodham, acting as a court-appointed attorney, attacked the credibility of a 12-year-old girl in mounting an aggressive defense for an indigent client accused of rape in Arkansas - secured a lenient plea deal for Taylor after a New York-based forensics expert she hired "cast doubt on the evidentiary value of semen and blood samples collected by the sheriff's office." http://sweetness-light.com/archive/hillary-versus-the-allegedly-raped-child
