Comment: To the guy TwistedWar, might be interested in http://news. bbc.co. uk/2/hi/health/7577501 .stm Title of the article is "Universal flu vaccine tests start" and that is exactly what it might mean... Ever consider the possibility of having one vaccination every "5 to 15 years" or even longer maybe 90 years is long enough for you to not take medicine for it to affect the drug market? There's a lot we don't know about yet and one of the biggest things holding us back isn't a god, (or gods or whatever...) or an organization, it's the fact that we are still learning about how things work! Things get better but I doubt there will ever be an age of "disease free" after all, life always tries to stay alive and changes to match with what is thrown at it. Even without that little issue of "possible evolutionary trends visible in real life," if not kept in balance the bacteria in your gut could be considered a disease

Comment: to the person below this comment, science could prevail but it won't,not cause it can't be done but as long as money is the main concern of humans, there will be no cures for anything,i mean since polio which like i said was in the 50s,there have been no cures and sure maybe a cure might come out but it will be for something that most won't get and at that if it was that little of importance to cure then i doubt they will even do that, but for the flu or cold no you will never see it because of the fact how much money they make on the meds that just make things livable but never cure that, but maybe in 50 years or so some good person will beat the companys that make advil and things like it and come out with a cure for something, but hell will be leased from goverment to companys trying to stop that person or group of people from costing them trillions of dollars just so a one time cure can help people.

Comment: What is this Grammar and Christiany/religion Debate now? I thought it was on the great medical oddities that were of the past century. Majority outweighs me aparently judging by these ridiculous comments I've read. Now on a lighter note I think this was a very interesting article and slideshow. It shows that Science will prevail and eventually lead us to (hopefully) a disease free golden age where we all live happily without the sufferage and emotional pain of horrific diseases. Thanks for such an interesting atricle. I applaud!
