What does any of this have to do with evolution? I have a masters in nursing, an undergrad in biopsychology and am currently inches away from a PhD in bio so Im not impressed with your biology degree. Just enjoy the pictures, they're quite fascinating, I want the book. You should relax and visit Ripley's. :) As a christian I have struggled with evolution, just accept that we don't know everything.

Exactly, that is just my point. I was just responding to a comment earlier by someone who was trying to use this to prove their point of view and was insinuating that anyone who did not agree with him had never studied evolutionary biology. My main point is that it is too big an issue to just throw out two sentences as proof and bash everyone else.

Iam willing to accept and consider all ideas, thoughts and comments. I find the older I get, the less I know. All education aside, there is always something I can learn.

How exactly does this prove the theory of evolution? Most of these abnormalities were caused by external agents such as a virus, bacteria, or parasite, failure of complete cell division in the womb, or just choosing to not cut your nails and therefore are not genetic and would not be passed on. The giantism, and (perhaps)the jaw disorder and eye droop are genetically caused but are not advantageous mutations and so have never become common to the population. (Giantism may seem advantageous but it has some severe health problems.) So please let us not turn every article into a forum for our own religious or anti-religious feelings. I have a biology degree and HAVE studied evolutionary biology claims, intelligent design claims, and creationist claims and I know enough to say that it is an issue that cannot be adequately covered in the comments section of articles. I also know many respected scientists who have very different opinions on the matter. So both sides please save your comments for actual face-to-face conversations.

Most of these are caused by an external agent, such as a virus, bacteria or parasite, failure of complete cell division in the womb or just choosing to never cut your nails, and are not genetically caused and therefore would not be passed on. The giantism and the Bell's Palsy are genetically related but are not advantageous mutations and have therefore not become the norm in the general population. (Giantism may seem advantageous but has a lot of severe health problems.) Please make sure you understand what you are talking about and please let's not turn every article into a religious or anti-religious forum (this goes for both sides.) I have a biology degree and HAVE studied evolutionary biology, intelligent design and creationist claims. So both sides please stop throwing out your one liners and save it for a face-to-face conversation.

As for God/Jesus...if you are correct and I AM wrong, i have lost nothing. On the other hand, if i am correct and you are wrong, then you have lost all................
As to photo #4, can you say HOAX?

how ignorant you are mnmanariesram..... to think that man has nothing to do with deformity in creation. Man claims to want all the power at their fingertips, but when something goes wrong, they blame God. Typical Human, to pass the buck, and not own up to our own mistakes. Puhleeze.

I'm curious as to what would make a horn grow out of your head? no less at such a late age in her life?

I kind of understand how the person with 2 heads must have felt. I myself was born with 2 penises. Luckily, for me, they were joined at the end so that I ended up with what looks like 1 *** of enormous length. God works in mysterious ways indeed.......Ed

The drooping lid in picture 7 is not caused by Bell's Palsy. Facial nerve paralysis results in the inabilty to close the eyelid because the orbicularis occuli muscle is a sphincter muscle and is innervated by the temporal branch of the facial nerve. The sympathetic nerve innervation to the levator muscle of the eyelid is responsible for elevation of the eyelid.
