A Century of Medical Oddities

it would be nice to get a copy of this website to share later on with my kids who are now 6 months and 2 yrs old. When I was in school it would have been nice to have this kind of reference about not double posting. Especially internet maladies like this one where each post is differently narrated. How does that happen?

These conditions makes me so much more appreciative of my good health. Scabies, I know, is a very contagious condition It was quite prevalent in "Hippie" circles of the early Nineteen-Seventies.

This would be something that would have been nice to share later on with my kids who are now 2 and 4. When I was in school it would have been nice to have these kinds of pictures and information not found in most text books.

It would be nice to be able to copy this information so that when my 2 or 4 yr old are doing reports they can show actual information to support what most people did not know. Let alone get information like this from a basic text book or encyclopedia.

I am very surprised by dates of the photos. And how well they are still in tact. I wish you could of shown us more. Very interesting!

I live a few blocks from the Mutter Museum. On first seeing the horn, and the caption at the museum that described it as just a "skin condition", I imagined a woman dating Satan and having him explain off his horns to her as," Oh these? They're just a skin condition."

Those old photos were interisting, to say the least.
