Gore should not run for president. He is much more effective dealing with the world wide problem of global warming.

Gore should not run for president. Were he to become president, the energy he has to tackle this worldwide problem would be siphoned off into the job of being the president of a nation beset by woes that are going to take a lot of congressional cooperation to fix. Congressional cooperation is a pipe dream in a two party system where getting re-elected is uppermost in the congressional mind.

If Gore ran, human-caused climate change would end up being debated on the science, not propaganda, and he would look like a fool.

Reading through many Blogs with global warming as an issue, it is noticable that there are many who seem to think that global warming is a hoax. At this juncture it is a little disturbing to note that the truth is not being stated with enough emphasis, or there are simply many people who refuse to accept change, more likely. There are of course factors involved in global warming other than human activitives. Human activities are merely the proverbial "straw that broke the camels back." More reason to make changes in an orderly and systematic fashion. The past geologic record shows what can and has happened. Hopefully in the present the worst can be avoided.

A few months ago supporters asked Al Gore to run this time. It didn't seem like the timing was right and not against Hillary Clinton. Indicators show that he is still needed in the arena of protocol with a freedom that being in an official position might hinder. However, in four more years the stage should be set for Gore to at last, step into the role of making the changes to the industrial complex of the United States from the highest political office and by then the Congress will be behind him. We look forward to seeing Al Goreint he White House and his supporters need to gather the supplies and voters for that election,make it a clean sweep. Thank you.

We know that he is very dedicated to his cause because he has no other ambitions, like running for president, in mind. Running for president would change his image from a well meaning, moral global citizen to a politician fighting bitterly for votes and support. If he announced his candidacy, he would lose the support of many citizens who would think of him as 'just another cunning politician' again. While it would be very important to have an environmentalist president of the US, he is no the guy to do it. Let him continue his good work, and perhaps teach more politicians about his views so that they could continue his work in the white house.

Again I read what I feel to be baffling. Al Gore the anti-Christ. Please The Christ and anti-Christ is in everyone one of us each time we make a decision. Who's to say your not the anti-Christ by pushing a non reasoned argument? Al Gore is fighting for the planet against those who would have him killed - he can't change the world he is only try and wake us up to. Save energy, reduce our carbon footprint, bring to light the large issues that need to be addressed like my country the United States of America blocking signing a global accord? The only lie is that we are beyond hope. Our plant is cyclical it will fix itself through us nurturing it it or us dying from it fixing itself. Again do some research, watch the history channel or something. The planet has existed for millions of years and been through this before. If we don't take care of it it will take care of us, in a pretty pissed off way.

Al would never run again. HE knows he has no chance to win and it would only cost him the money he has made on this global warming farce. Anyone that has looked at the facts understands it is all a lie and scheme to redistribute the funds of the middle class so that there will only be a world of the rich and poor. FOllow the money and it leads right back to gore since he has made millions on this outright bold face lie called global warming. IT IS THE SUN warming the planet and anyone with a half ounce of common intelligence understands it. AL Gore is making millions on this lie and should be jailed for fraud!
