    Not enough assurance he can win the election but what he doesn't know is that he's the only qualified candidate that can run and stir the country. He has the experience and the expertise.

    Why is Gore not running? That's an easy one. Why take on the burden (and scrutiny) of the Presidency so long as he can make easy millions hawking junk science?

    Mr Gore is not running for President because he will not win. There's no other reason than that. If he was "electable," he would have beaten Bush the first time around in 2000.

    He is not running just like John Kerry is not running.

    Gore is making to much money to run for president. Global warming is about saving the planet but nothing will be done by the US until all the money problems have been worked out. We have the technology to change a lot of things, but how do those who can change them get richer? Until that problem is solved the only changes will be small, made at grass root levels. Anybody know how poor people can put solar panels on rental roof tops?

      Mr. Gore needs a paying gig. Just in case you were unaware, besides the monies received from the movie, AIT, all speech and Slide Show presentations, the money from becoming a partner with the Silicone Valley V C firm and the money he received for his Nobel Peace Prize is all DONATED to The Alliance for Climate PRotection. And, the Gor'es just matched the Nobel Award for a year end personal contribution to the Alliance.

      Mr. Gore is definitely smart and visionary, where he is successful, but most money he receives he is putting to saving all of our collective butts.

    Gore is not running because he knows how politics works. They love you today, hate you tomorrow. After being on such a high why would Gore ever want to come down to a Presedential race. Although he was not elected he can take comfort in the fact that the American people regret "ridiculing him". I guess his Math was not that FUZZY AFTER ALL.

    I don't think this country is ready yet to elect a president on an environmental issue. As we all know, first he won't get elected, even if he does (big if), Republicans will tear him apart, stalls Senate and Congress and very little will be in his tenure. I sincerely believe that he can bring moral and ethical pressure and can do some good by not running. Staying away from day-to-day politics, he will have more leverage than as a President. All said done, let's face the Truth. America is not yet ready to acknowledge follies. We are still relishing the idea of being a consumer society.

    It's too bad that Al Gore did not get elected in 2000 instead of Bush. Can you imagine how better our country would be? At this point I'm not sure that even Al Gore could restore our country to what is was before Bush.
    W really made a mess of our beloved USA.

    If the Democrats were smart, they would aproach Mr. Gore and ask him to be the nominee. All the polls showed he has more support than all the candidates who have been running. If the Democrats REALLY cared about the majority, than the elite few, if the Democrats cared about the party than just themselves, if they really cared about the people and our future, they will ask Al Gore to be the Democratic nominee for President of the United States. I already know many REAL Republicans who care about the environment are fully supportive of Mr. Gore, along with the Greens, Inde's Liberals, Progressives and true blue Democrats.

    So, isn't it up to them? Mr. Gore after all has said even this year that he would love to be President. A visionary, unmatchable experienced intellect Statesman that has a vision to make the path that we walk to create a better place for all.

    As he recently asked, I am keeping my energy in a lock box that only he has a key for. It's up to the Democrats if they will place the betterr for the many, before the want of the few and really make history. Have the World's Leader be America's President.
